Mid August 2ww - anyone else out there?

Hi all! I'm in my first ever 2ww and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Think I'm approx 1 dpo judging by previous cycle patterns, Ov pain and CM as I don't use OPKs or do BBT (too lazy!). Loosely followed SMEP this month, fx this is the month!

Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS1 was a happy surprise)
Cycle No: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days
AF/BFP due: 29th August but I'll be testing on the 28th which will be CD 28

Looking forward to waiting with you all! And trying not to POAS at 5dpo !

Hi can I join? I'm ttc #2, age 30, cycle 2. AF not due for at least another week I think - herein lies the problem as coming off contraception I'm not sure on cycle length etc. I have had 1 period since I came off it which is why I say cycle 2. So not too hopeful that anything is going to happen anytime soon. However, I stupidly did an IC test today - not FMU and roughly a week in advance of when I think AF will show - and I got a very faint second line! Probably it's nothing and just an evap or dodgy test but now of course all my hopes are raised! Going to try to hold out a few days and then test using a FRER. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Any chance you ovulated earlier than expected? So your period is due sooner that you think?
Do you have a picture if the test?
Evaporation lines are normally gray or similar. If it's the same colour (blue/pink) as the control line I've heard it's normally a genuine second line.

Hi @MsHopey - yes I could have ovulated any time I think as I don't really know what's going on with my cycle. It's honestly such a squinter that I can't really even get a good photo of it and it does look grey so even though it came up in 5 minutes I'm not holding out much hope! I shouldn't have done it!

We're all guilty of texting too early.
This is my first cycle since my post implant period. I had to wait 12 weeks for my period after having my implant removed, which makes me feel I'm already behind schedule. I know most people's cycles are knocked about after contraception, so you could have a shorter cycle.
I'd test again and double check the results, you never know. 🤞🏻

@rollerskaterdata honestly it's making me rethink as to wether I've even ovd yet!! Me and the oh are going to bd this eve just to be sure but the app is usually right so idk!! We will just have to see!

I'll probably end up testing every weekend until FP comes 😂😂 at least we're not alone in this!

Yes you're right @MsHopey - I will re-test with a better brand but don't think it's my month really! Good luck to you - I was on the implant too and have found it really has knocked everything out so much. I was on the depo before having my son and went straight back to my regular cycle pretty much straight away after stopping it! Sadly not the case this time.

@rollerskaterdata I'm the same!! Usually completely dry, but I'm not at all since I ovulated! I'm also having pains as if AF is coming, earlier they were really really sharp too.. I feel like my body is playing tricks on me 😂😩 xx

Hello, do you mind if I join? I’ve done nothing but google symptoms all day! We’ve been TTC for 3 years now and this is my last cycle on Clomid so I have everything crossed. I think I ovulated last Thursday and the last few days I’ve had some cramping, extreme tiredness and some spotting today which I’m really hoping won’t lead to AF. I’m irregular, even with clomid but it’s average 34 days which is still 5 days away. Anyway, I just wanted to share and follow along with your stories. Fingers crossed for you all.

I'm out this month I think. Just gone to the loo and there's the tiniest couple of pink dots (think this counts as spotting even though it's barely anything?) put it into Flo and it changed my ovulation day to yesterday so we won't have caught it 😩

Had pretty much the same as you @rollerskaterdata dull aches and sore "area" and a bit of random EWCM pretty sure I ovulated around Monday or Tuesday. Been googling my head of constantly since!

Hello everyone, can I join? TTC number 3, bit new to this cos the first 2 were happy accidents. We dtd right at the end of my period both times couldn’t work out why I had immediately got pregnant. Now trying for number 3 I’ve looked into ovulation and stuff and I think i just have a super dupa short cycle so ovulate 7 days or so after af kicks off. Last af started 2 weeks yesterday, dtd 1 week yesterday so possible means 8 dpo but I do get a bit confused by it all!!!?? Have already tested about 8 times

@thejollytrolleydolly Yep I know what you mean! But my app is usually right too so I trust it...I checked my cervix tonight and it's super low so I definitely have ovulated. So still going with 4 dpo today. Twitchy uterus every now and then, who knows what this means 🤷‍♀️

@cupcakesandglitter I posted on our other waiting thread but it could be implantation spotting? You're definitely not out yet until AF shows up hun xx

@curlies I'm googling every 10 seconds it feels! TMI but my nips are super tender and I have such a twitchy uterus 😂 I want to know what this meansss!

@vanillasky1001, if it’s any consolation I’m still confused by it all even after 3 years of trying. Each month is slightly different, with different symptoms, for me anyway.

Sorry to hear some of you are having confusing ov symptoms! It's so frustrating not knowing exactly what's going on with our bodies 😤

@Cupcakesandglitter the spotting could definitely be because of implantation! I wouldn't trust your app if it changed just because of the spotting 😊

@vanillasky1001 good luck with the testing 🙂 I'm 8dpo tomorrow and will start using cheapie tests from then onwards (even though its way to early 🤣) You definitely deserve a bfp after 3 years!!

@KatnissK are you the same Katniss I spoke to on a thread all about always having evaps on frers before? Will you test again in the morning? I so hope it's a nice obvious bfp for you!!

@rollerskaterdata I wish I could check my cervix but unfortunately it's too far up! 🙈 I have always relied on the length of my cycle and my apps but of course I think they are wrong this month...

Hey guys. Just woke up and had the lightest ever pink discharge. It was definitely pink though. I'm 8dpo. It could be IB. OMG!!!
I said I wouldn't look for symptoms. But I never spot mid cycle. But maybe I wouldn't have been looking for it if I wasn't TTC I don't want to get my hopes up but anything is possible.

@MsHopey fx!!! I know what you mean but then at the same time, maybe you very well haven't spotted before so this could be it xx

I think I’m out already! I was feeling more hopeful than ever yesterday with the spotting, I’ve never had it before. Very light brown and pink but it has turned to red this morning. 😢 that was our last round of clomid and we have a consultant appointment next month so we’ll see what’s next. @Rmw12 if your still a few days off this might be a late IB? The red blood might not come to anything. How early would this make af if it really is the witch? I'm still 🤞🏻 For your bfp!

Used an ic at 8dpo - obviously a snow white bfn 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks @BoBo90, on average it’s 34 days which would be this Thursday but it can be a few days either side. This would be the shortest cycle in a long time. I really thought it was IB but there’s some clotting. I’m thinking possible CP or maybe it’s just an effect of the Clomid. 😩

Hi ladies, just seen the thread and thought I'd add my two pence :)

I'm 28, ttc #1, cycle 8. My cycle is normally either 30/31 days so I'm about 9 dpo in the 2 ww. I'm doing the clear blue trial so am using opk but it's my last cycle of the trial with them - found them pretty useful in pinpointing the time but also a bit stressful in that just because it's telling you that you should be having sex doesn't make you always want to be haha

DH was on medication that he had to come up before ttc so he thinks it will take us ages but I'm starting to get a bit fed up already! Anyway im.not convinced it'll be this cycle as no signs yet, will leave it til af is late before testing - or try to! Should be 28/8 same as a couple of you I think! Fingers and toes crossed!
