Mid August 2ww - anyone else out there?

Hi all! I'm in my first ever 2ww and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Think I'm approx 1 dpo judging by previous cycle patterns, Ov pain and CM as I don't use OPKs or do BBT (too lazy!). Loosely followed SMEP this month, fx this is the month!

Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS1 was a happy surprise)
Cycle No: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days
AF/BFP due: 29th August but I'll be testing on the 28th which will be CD 28

Looking forward to waiting with you all! And trying not to POAS at 5dpo !

Well I'm deffo losing it ladies! 6 dpo today and walked past Poundland on my high street and couldn't resist going in and buying some pg tests! Not sure I'm going to be able to resist testing early 🙈😂

The cramping, bouts of nausea and sore nips continue...

@rollerskaterdata 😂😂 did you buy the stick ones? They're the ones I stocked up on the other day! Still holding out for the 28th? 😂 xx

Only thing that's stopping me from testing is that I don't know when I've ovulated - could have been ten days ago, could've been two days ago 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

@cupcakesandglitter @Daisymalone @thejollytrolleydolly LOOL yep, it's getting harder and harder to stick to the 28th!! I'm really sorry! (I actually feel really bad). My self control is growing weaker every day...it's really embarrassing but I've been nagging my DH's ear off about what to do because I want to test early but feel like I'll be letting you lovely ladies down 🙈 I really am losing it! 🤪

@cupcakesandglitter yep I bought the sticks! I only bought 2 though because they were the only ones left, if there were more God knows how many I would have bought 😂😂😂

@rollerskaterdata I bought ten don't worry, I doubt any of us will last until then 😂 I am going to try, I don't think DH wants me to test early he knows I'd be more obsessed

I'll probably do a test on n Friday/Saturday as I would potentially be 10dpo but I could be 6 or 7 🙈 I just don't know lol xx

@cupcakesandglitter wow that is dedication! Although saying that I would've bought the same amount or more if there were more!! 😂

@thejollytrolleydolly I was thinking the same thing, start testing on Friday when I'll be around 10dpo. It makes me feel better to think I'd be testing this week rather than next! I really will try to hold on for longer but I can't say with certainty I will! 🤦‍♀️ glad I'm not the only one who may break earlier he he he! (Plus we can still test on the 28th to see if our lines have gotten darker if we have any!)

and af not but until 27th. I'm very anxious and hormonal thought I'd see but alas bfn .... will have to test again anyway but will leave it now.... eurgh why do we do it to ourselves !

@Welshpugmomma not to worry hun, it's soooo hard not to test!! Only thing stopping me is I know it'll be a BFN at 6dpo so no point wasting a test ha ha! At 10dpo however there may realistically be a chance of seeing a BFP (however small!) so I definitely won't test before then she says!

@cupcakesandglitter 😂😂 yes I'll still be testing on the 28th anyway so technically stuck to our plan! I've not given in yet though so who knows, I may make it until then without testing anyway!

Hi can I join? Should have ovulated Wednesday or Thursday but stupidly decided to buy the clear blue advanced tests and never got a peak on them only a high but then I don’t know if that’s cos I was late starting to test. Got low day 12 then highs day 13,14,15 then had to stop testing as was at a festival but no peak even though I should have ovulated day 13 or 14 as my cycle is always 27/28 days. I’ve had cramping all day and awful nausea today and yesterday.

@GreatestShowWoman yes we do, I've had sore nipples for over week  today I had a new one: hot flushes! I usually get them around AF (two weeks away) but today I've just been sweating buckets 😩

@rollerskaterdata tbh if I can hold on, and I get a BFN, I might take back what I said and treat myself to a large glass of wine

Personally I enjoy the POAS it's like a little game and I don't know what the outcome is going to be! 😂😂 I feel like my boobs feel a bit heavier today but I'm only 5dpo so I doubt much would be happening yet! I'm probably just imagining things.

Didn't feel any different until literally an hour ago lol! Illl be testing once (or twice) a week until I either get BFP or FP I just can't wait to see a positive pic soon!! 😬

@thejollytrolleydolly I’m 5dpo too I think I’ve had cramps, nausea and now sore boobs.

@GreatestShowWoman I feel pretty normal so I don't know if that's a bad sign although my boobs feel a little heavier but not sore or anything x
