Mid August 2ww - anyone else out there?

Hi all! I'm in my first ever 2ww and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Think I'm approx 1 dpo judging by previous cycle patterns, Ov pain and CM as I don't use OPKs or do BBT (too lazy!). Loosely followed SMEP this month, fx this is the month!

Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS1 was a happy surprise)
Cycle No: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days
AF/BFP due: 29th August but I'll be testing on the 28th which will be CD 28

@cupcakesandglitter have you been Ttc long? I use opks and temp as I find it helps me keep my sensible head on. It's reassuring to know exactly when I ovulate, for example this month I seem to have ovulated 1 day later than my norm so I will expect my period to be a day late too. If I was just guessing then I might get overexcited at being late when I'm actually not (if that makes sense!?) Before I tracked, apps used to put my ov date at cd 13-14 so there was a chance I could have missed ovulation by giving up dtd too soon! But I'm quite a calm ttc'er, tracking ov for some people adds a pressure they don't like so for some people it's best to just have a rough idea and hope for the best!

@Daisymalone we were TTC last year for a couple of months, but I wasn't tracking anything then and my cycles were all over the place after coming off contraception so I don't tend to count it.

This is our first month TTC - I've tried OPKs and temping, but I have such a random routine that I don't get up the same time in the morning (and also don't always get more than three hours sleep) so I can't temp, and I never have positive OPKs either! My cycles have been 30/31/32 days so I don't think I've ovulating at the same day either... not sure what else I can do 😩 we're just DTD whenever we can do that we don't miss it xx

@cupcakesandglitter that sounds like a good plan to me! 😉 As you've not been at it long dtding loads is by far the best and funnest way to do it! And your cycles sound pretty regular which is a good sign--I'm sure it won't be long before your bfp. 🤞

@cupcakesandglitter hahaha my dp literally knows everything there is to know about conception now thanks to my daily researching! He's pretty chill about the whole thing but when it's your own body it makes you crazy!

I have like 8 various pregnancy tests in the bathroom one of which is a frer, I need to hold off using it until the end of the month but I see it every time I use the big bathroom!

We're all due our BFP around the same time as you and are going to test on the 28th if you would like to join us? 😁❤️

So the last couple of days I've been getting this dull ache in my lower abdomen a bit like really gentle period pains. I never noticed it before this month but I suppose I'm more aware of the time I am ovulating this month. Has anyone experienced the same?

Doubt it's implanting 1dpo but I thought ov pains only lasted a day? 🤔

With the pain, I had this a few days ago - I noticed it when I was washing up, the worktop was sort of rubbing my abdomen and I realised it was suuuuper tender. It lasted for two or three days I think, it's disappeared though. I've never had it before though. Just the sore nipples for me now! X

@cupcakesandglitter it's very strange! Almost feels like FP!! My boobies are holding up ok for now... no doubt I will be examining every slight change in my body over the next couple of weeks though!

It will be such a relief when I get my BFP so I can just stop thinking about it lol!

I always get sore boobs, pretty much immediately after ovulation until af and often get early cramping and it never amounts to a bfp! Ive learnt to not over analyse anything as I seem to get different 'symptoms' each time- I even had nausea last month and it still wasn't to be. Saying that though when I did implant I had a very unusual odd painful tickling/pinching sensation that I had definitely never experienced before or since! It was something that I would have noticed even if I wasn't symptom spotting...

@Daisymalone interesting! I will look out for that! I'm sure you'll be getting all of my symptoms over the next couple of weeks and looking forward to hearing what everyone else is experiencing too x

Hi, I'm on cd3 bloody 5 and 4dpo.

I had a peak on clear blue ovulation motor on cd 24 but then no temp shift, after some ewcm on cd30 I tested again and was peak again, temp shift had happened, but I kind of feel like I'm in to the third week of the 2ww.

Fingers crossed for a lucky thread with lots of bfp's!

Oh @seastargirl that must be so frustrating! At least you're definitely in the wait now though!!

Woohoo fertility friend has put my crosshairs on on my usual ov day after all so I am actually 3dpo not 2! One less day of the dreaded 2ww 😁

@Daisymalone that's great! I don't know what cross hairs are (I don't chart) but assume that's a good thing! I'm also 3dpo (going by when I usually Ov according to my Flo app and very distinctive Ov pain) but DTD this morning for good measure just in case 😂 I'm still feeling odd little cramps / twitches in my uterus but assuming it's still way too early to really feel anything! My mind is playing tricks on me lol!

@rollerskaterdata yes it's a good sign as it shows ovulation. I've attached a chart just incase you are interested 😂, the red lines (crosshairs) show when ovulation took place based on the data from your temperatures. The drop towards the end indicate af is about to begin so it's good for saving money on tests!

I can feel twinges today too, maybe it's a 3dpo symptom for everyone!

BTW that's an old chart from May, obviously my current one is still a work in progress!

@Daisymalone it's quite interesting to see someone's else's chart, I started trying to chart but I get up at a different time everyday so it doesn't really work for me unfortunately! Im guessing I'm 2dpo and had a really painful stomach last night with a bit of pain this lot I g but it seems to have finished now so I guess that's ov season over!

And so it begins... the best of luck to everyone. It seems we have done everything right this month let's just hope the swimmers swam and the beans stick! Xx

I think I ovulated on the just after the 10th but I didn't start my OPKs soon enough and just caught the tail end of what I think was a positive on CD11.
