Mid August 2ww - anyone else out there?

Hi all! I'm in my first ever 2ww and was wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? Think I'm approx 1 dpo judging by previous cycle patterns, Ov pain and CM as I don't use OPKs or do BBT (too lazy!). Loosely followed SMEP this month, fx this is the month!

Age: 27
TTC: #2 (DS1 was a happy surprise)
Cycle No: 1
Cycle Length: 26-28 days
AF/BFP due: 29th August but I'll be testing on the 28th which will be CD 28

Looking forward to waiting with you all! And trying not to POAS at 5dpo !

It would be nice if a few of us had Good news before September starts!
I don't which part is worse, holding your bladder all day to do OPKs, DTD when you're absolutely knackered and not in the mood, it this waiting when you can't do anything to chance the outcome.
It took a few months of trying for DS and all the anxiety and stress had come flooding back.

@Daisymalone thank you for attaching your chart, that is really interesting!! If it takes a few months I may get into charting, I know we can't plan these things but I'm hoping to catch by Christmas so baby will be a summer baby! DS is a December baby and I remember being cooped up in doors all day because it was too cold to go anywhere 😕

@MsHopey welcome! Our cycle lengths and AF due day are exactly the same! If you fancy join us on testing on the 28th, here's hoping for BFPs all round! X

@MsHopey and I know what you mean, this TTC malarkey is not as fun as I thought it would be!

DS is a summer baby. It's just means your hot and sweaty instead 😂 and I couldn't walk very far without my hips hurting.
I'll test with everyone on the 28th and let everyone know what's going on. I don't think there's any chance I'll be lucky this early on but I'm hoping I've still got a little extra fertility lingering from DS xx

So my boobs are feeling weird, but I don't think this is my month 😩 feels like AF is coming... I'll wait until the 28th to test anyway but I think I'm out this month x

@cupcakesandglitter stay strong, I will talk you down 🤗! I'm sure you well know that at only a few dpo there's no way an embryo could have even implanted yet so no weird boob feelings can rule you out at this stage! The 28th is still 10 days away so I'm sure your af is not coming just yet (unless you ovulated extremely early) Stay strong x

@cupcakesandglitter don't worry! You've probably got a while until AF! It's so annoying in these 2 weeks isn't it... analysing every minute change in our bodies... it's enough to send you mad!! 🤪

@cupcakesandglitter it's still very early days, you're not out yet! As @Daisymalone said we've still got 10 days until we all test, there's still hope! I really believe in thinking and speaking positively, and I'm thinking and believing we'll get a bunch of BFPs on this thread!

Hi, I'm 1DPO today I think. I don't think I did enough to get pregnant this month but I guess I have a small chance! Will prob test on 10DPO, 26th August

Soooo sorry for the tmi but my cm has only just gone to ew consistency... I don't know if this means I haven't ovulated yet?! If that's to go by then maybe I am ovulating late his month!

Would bd tonight to be sure but I bumped the OH car today so he's not speaking to me 😂😂

@cupcakesandglitter I totally know what you mean hun, it's easier to set yourself up for the disappointment isn't it? That way it hurts less. I've convinced myself I'm going to get pregnant this month, first cycle, that I'd be gutted if I wasn't. But I can't help it, I just want to believe it so much!

TMI alert but I was just in the shower and noticed a glob of EWCM. Not sure what this is all about as I usually don't get it this late, I'm CD17 3dpo today. So obviously I'm now frantically googling what this means! 😂

What is everybody doing to keep their minds busy during the 2ww? I'm currently on holiday so you would think I would be focussing on other things...I'm not 😂

Cycle No: 21 🙄
Cycle Length: 24 daysish at the moment. Currently 10dpo
AF/BFP due: 23rd ish

Have a history of irregular cycles and of not ovulating, though fairly certain I did this cycle and we DTD plenty at the right time. Had an early mc in May so hopeful that if this is the cycle, it's a stickier one, though am mindful it took 3 and a half years to conceive last time, so might be in it for the long haul. Currently symptom spotting and quite a few twinges, but am holding out on testing until the end of next week.

This is my first tww since having my ds. We haven't been preventing since March but bf kept my cycles from returning! It would be amazing to catch the first egg but it took 14 months last time so I'm focusing on nothing else staying realistic

Reading all the conception threads. I Google every symptom. When trying for DS I was asking Google about needing the toilet, being tired, having a cough!!! The cycle I got pregnant I didn't have any symptoms and checked because my period never came. I never get any PMS or general period symptoms until AF hits.
So I just have to wait and read success stories about people conceiving baby #2 xx

@thejollytrolleydolly not quite, like slippery egg whites...so like fertile mucus 🤷‍♀️ not sure what this means but I feel crampy too and have done for days. DTD again this morning anyway so if it turns out to be late Ov (although I doubt it, I felt very strong, hard to miss Ov pains 3 days ago) I should be covered. So confusing!

@MsHopey DS1 was a happy surprise so I don't remember feeling any different / having any symptoms either...but then again I wasn't looking out for any! So I have absolutely nothing to compare it to apart from a missed period like you mentioned 🤷‍♀️

Hey ladies, I'm wondering if my app has got my ov date wrong as yesterday and today I've been getting a lot of ewcm which I hadn't got as much previously! Can you get it more after ov or is this a sign that I'm yet to ov?

Going to bd tonight just in case but that means I'm going to have to start the tww all over again!!

@thejollytrolleydolly I've been having the EXACT same thing and have no idea what it means!! I'm now CD18 and pretty sure I Ov'd on CD14 so no idea why I'm getting odd bits of EWCM and a few cramps and twinges here and there. I'm normally dry as a desert after Ov and don't feel cramping until a week before FP starts. I also DTD again yesterday and today just in case but I'm worried about starting the TWW all over again too...I wouldn't even know when to count it from though! Sorry I'm not much help, just in the same boat...remind me, do you track? I don't...hopefully someone else can shed some light!
