@laney79 I said I didn't want to get your hopes up but as soon as I saw that ic yesterday I knew you would get a strong line on a frer. Massively happy for you! I would say enjoy the feeling, you don't know what's around the corner and you can't change anything, so you may as well enjoy this lovely moment. I feel like this thread might be a lucky one! Take care x

@boboelephant sorry to hear about the painful af. Hope it eases up soon. Not what you need right now. Glad you are seeing someone who is helping you.

I am 9po and ignoring all symptoms. Not falling for that one again, sneaky progesterone!

Laney79 · 16/08/2018 09:02

@sweetpea0318 we started taking pregnacare his n hers conception vitamins during last month's AF, other than that we agreed to try and relax and enjoy each other's company a bit more-so started having a weekly mid week bath together. That's it! Not sure if either made a difference but that's the only new things X

Funkyemzie · 16/08/2018 09:51

Aww @Laney79 how lovely, that's a great line! Congratulations, definately enjoy, I hope this is a definate sticky for you!

@Boboelephant and @blondecat sorry you got af!

1dpo today but got positive OPK a couple of days ago, only got a temp spike this morning and missed dtd last night, we were both absolutely shattered. Not sure it's enough, we were going for SMEP this month too. 🤔

robin78 · 16/08/2018 10:26

@Funkyemzie I don't know anything about temping but if you hit day of positive opk then you are still in with a good chance I think?

Just coming up to fw and I have a stinking cold. Argh! How can this happen after a holiday? I will not be defeated and am blasting it with lemsip, herbal tea and hoping it will pass... Didn't manage to start SMEP this month until yesterday (cd 11) because of visitors. Still, I haven't got the flashing smiley yet so still plenty of opportunities if my snotty nose doesn't prove too much of an obstacle...

sweetpea0318 · 16/08/2018 10:45

@laney79 thanks!

Ells0204 · 16/08/2018 11:17

Ahh @laney79 congrats to you Flowers

@doddlebobs admittedly no I have not spoken to a dr this is something I’m trying off my own back. After two losses I am just not able to sit here and not do anything different, and I have heard many success stories! Might stop taking the Agnus Castus however as it is giving me terrible nausea 🤢

Ells0204 · 16/08/2018 11:20

@hayleyfx I’m so sorry to hear about your loss and see you on this thread. I remember you from the old thread and I loved following all the details.
I hope you’re doing ok, big hugs xx

Not yet had Af but think I may be ovulating now - I get ovulation pain and had had this last 2 days. Always from the left side for some reason.

Newbie21 · 16/08/2018 11:47

@Laney79 fantastic news. What a line!!! No doubt about that one. Do stick around and hoping to continue to hear happy and exciting news as you progress xx

mostimproved · 16/08/2018 11:51

Hi all, can I join you?

Age 27
TTC #2
MMC at 10 weeks (baby measuring 6 weeks), had MVA done on 6th August.

I'm not getting my hopes up as I know this isn't a proper 'cycle' I can track, but I'm desperate to conceive again as soon as possible so don't want to miss my first ovulation after miscarriage. We are planning to start DTD again on Sunday and take it from there.

mostimproved · 16/08/2018 11:54

And forgot to add - I have hypothyroidism, and am paranoid about that being the cause of my miscarriage. My TSH at9 weeks was 3.3 but around the time I got my BFP it was over 5, so I feel like it wasn't low enough in the early weeks. Have increased the dose again to 100mcg since I miscarried and will be getting bloods done in two weeks to make sure my TSH is under 2.5.

I'm also taking Floradix to replace lost iron, and folic acid and vitamin d, but not sure what else I should be taking to maximise chances of conception and a sticky 'bean'.

Lilimum4 · 16/08/2018 11:55

OK fellow charters does cd10 look like I ovulated and is it OK to start 🍍 and progesterone today

strawberrye · 16/08/2018 12:11

@Lilimum4 yes I think you probably ovulated CD10, would be even more convinced if your temps continue to rise in the next few days

Welcome all the new faces, sorry to hear of your losses. This is such a wonderful supportive group I'm sure you'll find some solace here Smile

@mostimproved I'm also on levothyroxine, TSH has gone from 3.7 recently to

Thanks @strawberrye

TedLife · 16/08/2018 13:14

@Laney79 congratulations! That's a wonderful line Smile Wishing you all the best luck in the world for this one Star

@strawberrye I'm also just in the TWW! I'm 4dpo I think, though I ovulated later than usual and had a marathon 8 day flashy smiley opk-athon. Driving myself nuts with tingly boob theory and trying to stay busy for the next week!

InDreamland · 16/08/2018 14:44

Congratulations @Laney79! Fx for a healthy sticky bean and a smooth 9 months x

SuperSharpShooter82 · 16/08/2018 15:50

Hello everyone. Sorry there are so many of us here and hello to some familiar names. Hoping I can join and also get some advice...?

Age 35 (for three more weeks!)
TTC #2. DD is 21 months
MMC at almost 10 weeks. Baby stopped growing at six weeks.

I passed everything naturally two weeks ago and bleeding has been stopped for over a week now. I haven't yet taken a test partly as I am just heartbroken to be wanting a negative and partly as I am scared there will still be a faint line and its still not over.

Sorry to jump straight on the thread with questions and be so self-involved, however I was planning to start TTC as soon as I had a negative test. Advice was to wait for AF but Dr said this is usually for dating purposes only, not necessarily health reasons. I don't want to wait. Anyway, today I have noticed ALOT of EWCM. So my question is shall I just go for it and DTD? It seems a shame to waste it if it is OV, if that is even possible two weeks post MC? However there is a big part of me that is now scared that if I do get PG that they won't be able to tell if its a new one? What would happen? I know my chances of conceiving are probably low (DD took us 8 months) but that's why I want to get on the case!

Thank you for any advice xxxxxxx

Littleray84 · 16/08/2018 15:58

@supersharpshooter82

Sorry to hear of your loss too.

I'm convinced I'm ovulating also,I'm 2 weeks since erpc following my mmc.

Your hcg levels will be decreasing if not back to normal by now, therefore if u do fall pregnant again if this is ovulation then they may confirm a new pregnancy with blood hcg testing - to monitor if the levels are rising, I suppose.

Good luck xx

TedLife · 16/08/2018 16:09

@SuperSharpShooter82 Welcome to the thread but sorry you find yourself here. Hopefully you find it helpful.
Re: your question, I think you should take a test to confirm you're definitely not pregnant anymore before trying again. If you do try and then get a positive test, it will be all the more heartbreaking if you then find out it was just left over chemicals from your loss. I know it's hard but by closing this door and taking the test, another will open for you.

SuperSharpShooter82 · 16/08/2018 16:23

Thanks both! You are absolutely right @TedLife, I am going to pick up a test on my way home. Means I will be late to collect DD but needs must!

Sorry you are here too @Littleray84. Have you now had a negative test?

Boboelephant · 16/08/2018 16:25

@Blondcat so sorry af got you too. I really hope it's our turn soon. I'm glad you're feeling a bit more positive.
@doddlebobs I have had reiki which I love- although it was unrelated to TTC-but I've heard amazing things about reflexology. Including a friend who fell pregnant very quickly and kept it after 2 MC's.
@SerenaOverjoyed thankyou. How are you hun? I can't remember are you having any tests into your losses?
@hayleyfx glad you're doing ok hun. Still thinking of you.
@Mistymeow everything crossed for you this month.
@Funkyemzie you got the 2 days leading up to ov which are the most fertile so I'd say you're defi in with a shot. It only takes 1!
@robin78 sorry to hear about the cold. Good luck for fw! Keep up with that honey and lemon!
@Littleray84 and @mostimproved welcome and sorry for your losses.
@Lilimum4 yep looks like ovulation cd10! Go get that pineapple core and progesterone cream!
@SuperSharpShooter82 sorry for your loss. It is possible to ovulate 2 weeks after a MC especially if it was natural. If it was me and I had ewcm I would crack on. I think there is a difficult choice either way so you have to decide what's worse? Testing and possibly still seeing a faint line or not testing and then if you catch not being entirely sure if it's new. You will be able to get a blood test to be sure but you'd have to wait for that I imagine. I'd probably test and then JKS or if you really don't want to test, just JKS and hope for the best!

Ladies I gotta admit I'm feeling pretty low right now. I know it's because af has just started and I'm sure in a few days I'll feel better but I can feel myself turning into a bit of a monster. Poor DH is in the firing line for my wrath! The longer this goes on I just can't bear it. I think I'm going to try and take a little thread break for a bit. I'll be back in a week or so I'm sure and I have everything crossed for you all, I just need to stop obsessing as I want to be positive and I feel like I'm becoming bitter. I wish good luck to everyone testing soon. xx

robin78 · 16/08/2018 16:39

@boboelephant Really sorry to hear you are feeling low, lovely. Take as long as you need away from the thread. Can you programme some non-TTC related fun over the next week or so?

Blondcat · 16/08/2018 16:50

@boboelephant sorry you are feeling low it really sucks sometimes when you feel like everyone else is moving forward and you are stuck. It will be us soon 🤞. Big hugs Flowers take all the time you need.

Littleray84 · 16/08/2018 16:51

@SuperSharpShooter82 yes i had a v.v faint positive last Saturday and checked again on Monday and was a stark white negative. It was upset seeing the faint positive but then I thought I've done all the crying and the wondering 'what if I'd done such and such different etc'. I gave myself a firm talking to and gave my head a wobble and now I'm back in the ' let's get on with it and try again frame of mind'. Poor Dp won't know what's hit him 😂🙈 xx

strawberrye · 16/08/2018 17:09

@Boboelephant sorry to hear you're feeling low and left behind. I hope a break away from the thread reinvigorates you, we'll be here for you when you feel ready to come back Flowers
