Another new thread! This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

@delilah7 rule of thumb is dtd until last day of egg whites cm then once more 2days after. Opks do help predict but I also get pain when ovulating on my right side only which helps too. Apparently most women are right ovary dominant and tend to release more often from right ovary.

@rdm10 my last mc I actually ovulated before I even realised so body can return itself to normal quickly. Opks could be useful for you but a bit expensive. Amazon do a good deal on clear blue digital less than half the price than in boots. Happy birthday :) there is no medical reason to not try start away that I'm aware of unless you had an infection or risk of infection. I found waiting a month quite emotionally good anyway. Like af brought a fresh start with it.

@glitterbug17 boo to cramps but the weather kinda sucks so I think a duvet day sounds perfect!

@xJune88 can you ring your EPU and ask for a scan just to check everything is clear? I had a very very small amount of "retained products" and my bleeding / spotted sounded similar to you- they gave me an ultrasound to check and Make sure -
I find it shocking that scans are not standard practise after MCs! But there you go...
Fx it's nothing and just your big resetting but I would like to be reassured!

@glitterbug17 good for you. Wish I could do that today but work calls. I feel really crap today just totally off. I know it's not pg symptoms because I'm only 5dpo.

Happy birthday for yesterday almost birthday twin @rdm10! I'm 35 today :)

Look what my freaky body gave me as a gift! No EWCM but a little sticky a few days ago and watery after that, last month got the opk+ cd23 and was expecting around cd17... this is cd14!! Usually my tests fade up to + as well.

DD got a treat of some Pepa Pig on tv while we did a sneaky unscheduled birthday bd!

Well it's definitely true. Did another non frer test over the weekend which was positive and I put my bra on this morning to discover double boobage. I'm probably around the point now where my little bean stopped growing last time. Freaking out a little. Trying to stay positive but it's hard. My EPAU nurse has been great and booked me in for an early scan on 19th sept, should be 8+6 or thereabouts by then. Feels a very long way away.

You lot are amazing. Don't know how idve coped without you guys this past few months. Baby dust to all xxx

MC (PUL) August 2018 @ 6 weeks

Just arrived back from France 3lb heavier! Cheese and wine I guess 🙀 wasn't best time to have MC but it was confirmed a few days before holiday with bleeding and subsistent scan / bloods etc. Just waiting now to do a pg test to make sure all hCG gone then can hopefully get cracking this weekend at my friends wedding (not taking DC I might add)

When is best time to do test? Is fmu advisable?

This was my first MC although my DC was a 'threatened MC' as I had lots of bleeding also at 6 weeks. However he decided to stick around thankfully

Any advice would be much appreciated! I've been doing WAY TOO MUCH googling and have starred taking probably too many supplements... feel as though there's something about 6 weeks? Coincidence maybe?
Anyone else had any tests done? Progesterone and B6 levels etc?

Sorry for all the questions, feel as though it's something wrong with me...

@kisses4u I am sorry you are going through this. I had a clear pregnancy test about 2 weeks after bleeding stopped for my last MC. It sounds like the holiday came along at the right time though. Tbh you might as well dtd as soon as you feel ready, the best form of relaxation!!

@kisses4u yes last week. Trying v hard not to overthink it though. It’s my 6th pregnancy although we are very lucky to have one gorgeous DS.

Ps taking 5mg folic acid, pregnacare with omega 3 and baby aspirin

Today has been really long and I'm pooped. Think I'll be flat out on the sofa by about 6pm today lol
What is everyone else doing today?

I'm currently at work. My OPKS got delivered today but pretty sure I'm past ovulation. I'm 7dpo I think now. I'm so confused with this month x

@Delilah7 I know how you feel. I normally get super positive opks and pain at ovulation. But the last 2 months it's not been like that but the FF app says I ovulated. So yeah super confused here too

@Lilimum4 well I got egg white CM and ovulation pains when I would normally but because I've miscarried this month I'm worried it won't of actually happened x

@Delilah7 maybe it will our bodies seem to recover quite quickly its are brains that take a lot longer. Fx for you when do you plan to test

Now I done an OPK for shits and giggles pretty much as I'm sure I've ovulated 14th. Does it mean anything if you get a line after you've ovulated???

@Delilah7 I get them lighter and lighter for about 3 days after FF app says I ovulated

@Delilah7 but I have heard you can use opks as hpts. Did you get a bfn test after you stopped bleeding from the mc

@Lilimum4 I've never used them before. So it's saying I ovulated 13th, I thought it was 14th but my memories shit at the moment.... I got a bfn 11th August.

@Cyclops10 I have another question for you!

So bearing in mind my company added to my health insurance so I can have private tests and hopefully avoid having a third miscarriage in a row... my body decided to surprise me by ovulating on day 11 of my cycle... We had sex the day before so now it's possible I could be pregnant! I'll be 12dpo on the day I see the gynaecologist so should know if I'm pregnant or not by then. If I am pregnant, can he still help me? Will tests be accurate with pregnancy hormones? I am so nervous about telling work if I am pregnant as they will think I planned it but I was genuinely going to wait to TTC until we'd had the tests done! I may not be pregnant but it's a long wait until next week to find out!

Hi everyone, hope you're all as ok as can be. @lilimum4 how you doin lovely, hope you're ok.

So 5dpo today after chemical last month, well I'm calling it a chemical, basically 2 weeks late for af with positive hpt. Bloods got back down pretty quick so they said we could try again whenever I feel ready.

Had a bit of reddy/pink spotting this morning and a big temp drop, is 5dpo too early for implantation bleed?
