Starting the two week wait again. Anyone else? Pleeeaaase be the month 🤞

So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated .

@Triskaidekaphilia I think ovulation is tiring and then pre af tiring so you can't ever tell!

@Triskaidekaphilia I've tried using the ovulation calendar on here but the only way it makes sense is 36 days but underneath it says up to 35 days as a cycle, is that even possible?
P.s I'm absolutely clueless, have no idea about things like this and I'm absolutely terrified and also not in anyway ttc either 😔

@Triskaidekaphilia it really is spooky! Maybe we're all gonna get our BFP this cycle! That would be amazing.

Hmmm, I now seem to be having weird AF like cramps that seem to be in my lower back but more on the right hand side. If it wasn't for the negative ovulation strips I've taken today, id swear I was ovulating right now, what with the cramps and EWCM.

@momma22 I'm having the same EWCM, loads of it!

@Owlpatrol, definitely, and I think there's usually so much going on in our bodies that we feel but barely register, and then when we are ttc, every time we feel something we think it's linked. Even DH has started doing it, I had this fluttering feeling in my lower abdomen yesterday and he was like (mostly joking) "You're pregnant." He knows I try to track ovulation etc. and usually I mention when I get my period but doesn't know the ins and outs of it, so I just went "It's too early to tell... but imagine if you're right". And he said how excited he'd be, it was adorable and now I want it to happen this cycle even more!

Sorry @Jellybean2916 not sure what you mean, is your cycle normally 36 days? From first day of period to day before next one. Don't worry about not knowing I'm sure we can help you

@Momma22 Aww yeah it would be! You never know!
I suppose if you were ovulating now your OPK could have been positive up to 72 hours ago, when did you have your darkest one again?

@Momma22 discharge after ovulation has always meant I am pregnant. Hopefully it is the same for you.

@Jellybean2916 If you're always/usually 36 days it's best to wait until day 36 to test, or a first response a few days before if you can't wait! You probably would ovulate around day 22 if you want to work out how many days past you are

@Triskaidekaphilia it's probably not always 36 to be honest. I've got pcos "apparently" but I've lost a bit of weight and they've been pretty regular, last month was a week late, but I was abit stressed leading to it so probably explains why, so I'm expecting it this weekend😁

@SpottingTheZebras I hope you're right! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much this cycle. But I guess there's always a chance.

@Triskaidekaphilia fingers crossed for all of us🤞 I got my positive opk last Wednesday, and had a fair few negatives since, so it's doubtful I'd be ovulating now. Probably just wind or something lol

@Jellybean2916 probs best to wait until the day of your missed period as the other ladies have said. But if you get a negative then but still no AF just keep testing every few days. What symptoms have you been having exactly?

@Momma22 yeah I'm going to do that, never wanted her to show so much 😏 I've had cramps and twinges, felt sick quite abit the last few days and really annoying lower back ache 😑

@Jellybean2916 hmm strange? Are you sure the cramps and lower back ache couldn't be AF related?

@Momma22 they've been longer than a few days, started a couple of weeks ish ago, theres a couple of other things too but they're probably tmi haha I usually get really bad af cramps (As in being doubled up in bed for a week) but these are just annoying rather than painful

@Jellybean2916 Ah, I know PCOS can throw things a bit. But like Momma said I would just try testing when AF is due but keep testing if it's negative.

I'm still getting cramps, some could be constipation or trapped wind but some definitely feel like AF cramps. Unfortunately that could mean either outcome

@Triskaidekaphilia yeah, it definitely does, I've never even bothered tracking them to be honest but have started the last few months, only reason I'm panicking is because I've got a wedding on the weekend (from work) and everyone is expecting me to drink but obviously I'm not keen on it just in case but can't think of a reason not to because they've given me the Monday off😕

@feerouge it's so odd, I hope this EWCM is a good sign! I swear this is getting beyond weird, everyone on this thread all seem to be having the same symptoms. I'm hoping and praying this is our month ladies!

@Jellybean2916 if you do get a bfp by the weekend, just tell everyone at the wedding you're on antibiotics and that's why you're not drinking. Worked for me when I was in the early days of pregnancy with DD

I will have the drinking issue if it happens this month as well as have a friend's wedding in a few weeks. Also going on holiday soon, only me and DH so don't have to worry about not drinking, but if this isn't our month at least I can enjoy the waterslides and all inclusive drinks!

Funnily enough the bride asked me 'if I'm currently drinking' yesterday so I wondered if she thinks I'm pregnant, or if it's just cos I mentioned quitting drinking on a mutual friend's status . I said I have just been cutting down but will be quitting soon, to cover all bases!

@Triskaidekaphilia every cloud has a silver lining. If for whatever reason you get a BFN this cycle (touch wood!) take this holiday as a chance to fully let your hair down and enjoy those all inclusive drinks and waterslides before the fun and games of pregnancy, sleepless nights, nappies etc begins. It could be a while before you have a peaceful holiday just the two of you. We had a bit of a babymoon when I was 4 months pregnant with DD and it was honestly a bit gutting to not be able to enjoy a few drinks and waterslides, but compared to the family holiday we had in September, with a grumpy toddler in tow it was heaven! Wouldn't change it for the world though, you have a lovely time, pregnant or not pregnant, soak up the sun and the peace and quiet while you still can x

Thank you @Momma22 Obviously I would rather be pregnant as we've already had two 'this might be our last couple holiday' holidays, but it will make up for it just a little

@Triskaidekaphilia obviously im sure you'd prefer to have a lovely reason to not drink and be flying down waterslides 😂 But even if this isn't this month I'm sure you'll have a lovely time and your BFP will be right around the corner. But im still keeping everything crossed that this will be THE month for all of us ladies this cycle 🤞
