Starting the two week wait again. Anyone else? Pleeeaaase be the month 🤞

So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated .

@Triskaidekaphilia see this is the thing, I never usually get any egg white cm, at all. That's why I was thinking its the preseed, but the preseed isn't stretchy like EWCM? So maybe not? I don't know? typical eh, the month I go out and buy preseed I now seem to be producing vast amounts of ewcm. Hopefully it's a good sign 🤞

@Momma22 Yeah it's hard to say because I don't know exactly what preseed is like, maybe it can do that. Though I've had EWCM this month for the first time in years- had stretchy stuff for the past 2-3 months but it was opaque rather than clear/cloudy, this month it was the real thing and for a good while. Still getting opaque stretchy CM today.

Okay, so 8dpo today and you guessed it, I did an IC with FMU!! I'm sorry to do this and feel very welcome to tell me to tie my hands together and wait a few more days, but can I have some opinions? These pictures are after 5 minutes. Just don't want to get my hopes up as I also know that these one step ones aren't always that reliable either!

I think I can see a little line! (Whispers) congratulations! Do you have an frer you can try?

@seastargirl I don't have one in, but I'll be banging the door down on the chemist as soon as it opens!!
Trying to keep my feet on the ground (proving very difficult). This is the first, even sniff, of a BFP I've had in 18 months.

@Eminen wow, that's a long wait! Fingers are firmly crossed the frer agrees and that it's a sticky one!

AF is also due around the 18 or 19, so I'll wait to test for the 18. I keep feeling like I'm 10 dpo when i'm only 5 or 6. Haaa so impatient.

How long has everyone been trying ?

@eminen I think i can see a very faint line in the first pic! Maybe try again tommorow with a FRER just to be double sure! I really do reckon you're pregnant though because I can definitely see the start of a line in that first pic. Good luck x

Maybe the fact that we've both had ewcm this cycle for the first time ever is gonna make all the difference, and has hopefully helped those little swimmers get to where they need to be 🤞

@feerouge I'm roughly where you are in 2ww, 7dpo, AF due end of next week. This will be our 4th month trying after an early miscarriage back in April.

I think I see a very faint line too @Eminen!

I also cracked and tested this morning (7-10dpo) with one of my not-actually-FRERs. It's definitely a BFN in normal light but when I held it up to the light I could almost see a line? Might try again on Monday.

@Triskaidekaphilia I really hope this is the beginning of a BFP for you! How sensitive are the first response rapid result tests? Maybe try again in a couple of days

I really hope this is a lucky thread and we all get our BFP! I just done a FRER and it looked negative so I'm still unsure.

I am actually bloated beyond belief today, already look about 3 months pregnant, haha, and my boobs definitely look a bit bigger. I'm only 7dpo though so I doubt it's anything to do with potential pregnancy. Probably a sign that AF is imminent, or maybe i'm just packing on the pounds 😂 Need to lay off the biscuits, lol.

Also, and I know I keep saying it, but I am still absolutely astonished at the amount of EWCM I've had this cycle! Never had it before, until this month and I really hope this is a good sign!

@Momma22 The FRRRs are no more sensitive than a normal test, thinking of getting some FRERs today. I'm still getting the opaque but stretchy CM, and cervix is really know so AF or BFP must not be too far away!

@Eminen yeah I definitely could, but when I read it normally it was definitely a BFN so trying not to read too much into it!

@momma22 yeah everyday for the past week it's like a pool down there with EWCM lol I can't remember if it was like that first my DD. Can't remember when I had implantation bleed either. One boob is a bit sore but that's it really. Also very horny for some reason ??

@feerouge I'm the same. I can't remember any of the symptoms I had with my first DD either, so annoying it would be helpful if I could. With the miscarriage I had back in April I just remember my boobs being really sore, I had a feeling I was pregnant because I couldn't sleep on my front for weeks, because my boobs killed, right before AF my boobs are usually only sore for max 5 days'ish! Plus I had kinda thrush like symptoms, which is really weird for me because I would never get anything like that since I stopped taking the pill last year. So I'm on watch for sore boobs and thrush, lol.

I decided not to get FRERs, it's an expense I really don't need right now, I'll just have to be patient.

Apart from the EWCM I have no other symptoms this month... which could in itself be a symptom because I usually get really bad PMT recently, especially sore boobs.

Oh and the cramping, still keep getting that.

@Triskaidekaphilia I really wish I had your patience! I dread to think of the money I've spent on tests!
Symptoms today have consisted of very heavy and achey boobs, sight cramping and (sorry if tmi) but a general 'ache' down below. Not quite as bad as a uti but that sort of sensation. Probably really over-analysing though!
I'm still getting faint lines on IC (yes I've done more - send help!) but I'll save my other FRER for FMU and if that's negative then I WILL stop testing and be patient!!

@Eminen it's really hard as I'm usually an obsessive tester. Still debating buying a pack on Amazon I must admit!

I don't know how reliable this is but I've just read online that EWCM in the TWW can mean sucessful implantation! 🤞

Just done a FRER and IC with FMU. The FRER was a BFN but I'm still getting a faint line with the IC. So either I'm testing too early, which at 9dpo is possible, but I think I've just got a dodgy batch of ICs.

Ooh how frustrating, fingers crossed it's just that the ic are super sensitive!

@Eminen that's so odd? Must be so frustrating for you! Hopefully it's just a case of it being too early. Are your IC's getting any darker at all?
