So I'm starting another two week wait, a bit sooner than anticipated. It seems I either ovulated CD 10 or 11 this cycle, which is very early for me.

Not sure if I'm 1 or 2dpo? Got a positive ovulation strip on Wednesday, by Thursday it was negative, but had lots of EWCM and CP was high soft and open. Would I get a negative OPK on the day or within hours of ovulation? Any advice would be much appreciated .

I've decided I'm testing this Sunday and next Wednesday with a FRER, and then a normal test next Friday so not ruling anything out until then. I would just wait until next Friday but I know I won't be able to resist!

I've never had one either @Owlpatrol in 15 months. Have you had/are you getting any testing? Were hoping to go for ours soon.

Another day, another ovulation test. Finally, not even a hint of a line. Think I can safely conclude I probably ovulated on Thursday.

So I'm now 5dpo, no symptoms of AF coming or potential pregnancy as of yet.

How many dpo is everybody else? How are we all feeling?

Started taking ICs too and got a darkish line this morning but not positive so praying i get a positive soon or I am going to throw it out of the window. 😂🙈

@FlapJackered what cycle day are you now? I've heard those clearblue flashing smiley things can be a nightmare and just confuse you more than they help you! Are you sure one of your IC's couldn't have been positive at some point?

I'm 6dpo today, no symptoms other than achey boobs but that's standard for me in the TWW

@Eminen Achy boobs are standard for me in the 2ww too. I get them when I'm pregnant and when I'm due on. I don't have achy boobs as of yet maybe a bit early days for me yet.

Complete nightmare! I am on cd18 now, I have had long irregular cycles so not entirely sure where ovulation is likely to be. I got a strong line on cd14 and another this morning but not as strong as the control line. 🤷🏻‍♀️
We are trying to have sex every other day so hopefully covered anyway!

@FlapJackered I usually have long cycles too. The only other time I used opks was back in June. I used the bog standard clearblue ones not the flashing smiley and didn't get a smiley face until CD18 (so imagine my surprise this month when I got a positive CD 10!) and then went on to get smileys the following two days, I reckon you've still time yet! Especially if you usually have long cycles. Or maybe you've already had your surge and it was short and you didn't test at that time? As long as you're DTD every other day you should be well covered. I didn't use OPK's last month because I thought as long as we're DTD regularly what's the point? I don't know, maybe they're not worth the stress?But I still love doing them because I'm a POAS addict 🙈

I think with OPKs it's fairly easy to miss your surge so if you have other signs you've ov'd I'd assume it was not long before/after your darkest one. I'm still a bit concerned that no-one else has OPKs that messed up in the heat (I started a thread about it), part of me wonders if the results are right and I just never ovulated even though other signs are there

@Eminen I get sore boobs every cycle too, can be anything from 2 days before AF to the whole tww! Not started yet this cycle but bound to soon.

@Momma22 I know what you mean! I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with opks. I just prefer it when they behave and tell me I have ovulated when I expect to! 😂

@Triskaidekaphilia I can't remember if you said you were temping or not? As that might shed some more light on whether you have or not!? My opks seem to have been working ok but it hasn't been over 30c where I live.

Nah, not temping, I've lost my thermometer. It was all over the place when I did temp because I tend to wakeup in the middle of the night quite often, and also because I was still having the long irregular cycles when I did it, although it did seem to be pointing to CD26 which made sense for what ended up being a 40 day cycle. So might be worth trying again. I don't know the exact temperature it's been here but it's been over 30 at times, and my OPKS are in a thick washbag on the bathroom windowsill.

None of my messages seem to post! I've felt pregnant depending on the time of the day hahaha I'm only 5 dpo so it's too soon to tell!

@feerouge I'm 5dpo too! Not felt any symptoms yet, like you say, still very early days

Sorry to butt in, but when would the best time to take a test, I've been having weird little symptoms the last week or 2 but not sure when af is due, some time around the weekend I think 😑

@Jellybean2916 generally if you have symptoms it is because you are pregnant and, therefore, have enough hcg for a positive test. Implantation is often around eight to ten days after ovulation so if AF is due this weekend it sounds like you have been having symptoms before you ovulated.

@Jellybean2916 try and hold off as long as possible, that way you'll be more likely to get an accurate result. Testing now might result in a false negative, If you can't wait I'd reccomend doing a first response early response test, if you're already experiencing symptoms it might be able to pick up on the hcg in your urine if it's there

Would I not have ovulated after my last af?

Anyone know why I'd be getting egg white cm again at 5dpo? I've took two ovulation tests today that were blatantly negative. Never had egg white cm in my life, until this cycle, now I just seem to be generating the stuff. Well, I say it's egg white cm more like creamy cm mixed with egg white cm. I don't know what it is? Maybe I'm overanalysing just a bit, as always, lol.

I'm 3dpo as I think I ovulated Saturday, my back ache has stopped now and I am wondering if I ovulated Sunday whether there is point in dtd again tonight! And so the wait begins. Must not symptom spot lol you'd think I'd know by now!

I've used the clear more advanced digital as well as the one step opks this month and an temp tracking too.

I've been really impressed with the clear blue, I got 8 days of high (didn't start testing till CD 16 as had only just bought it) and then finally a peak on cd 24! My internet cheapis wasn't positive till cd25 st think it gave me a bit of a head start.

I'm trying to have number 3 have a 4 and a 6 year old and had a missed miscarriage last year.

Fingers crossed for a quickly passing tww with lots of bfp's!

@Jellybean2916 the most accurate result is the day after you've missed a period, if you know when it's due. Ovulation is generally 14 days before a period, so in a 28 day cycle it would be around 14 days after the start of your last period.

@Momma22 I got EWCM from CD10-18, it got more white/opaque as time went on now, probably one day when it was properly egg white looking. I didn't used to get it at all when my cycles were messed up, so hopefully it's a good thing for us both! It's spooky but awesome how a lot of us on this thread have so much in common! Anyone have their vitamin d tested when their cycles were irregular?

@Owlpatrol I always find myself doing it, even on the months I've not been 100% concentrating on TTC I still overanalyse every twinge!
