@zarala mine are typically 13/14 days, apart from a weirdly short one last month -9 days- but my body is still resting I think.

Best to test if you are worried!

Bath072019 · 21/07/2018 11:53

@zarala mine tends to be 14 days, but if you think you're late then best to check :-) you are only going to sit and worry if you don't! I'd do the same! Good luck ! Fingers crossed for you xxxx

TinyPaws · 21/07/2018 11:58

@Laney79 I'm supposed to test on Wednesday but I took a couple of early tests which are inconclusive! Faint positives both today and yesterday on FRER but I'm worried it's the HCG trigger which I took 12 days ago rather than a true positive so stuck in limbo!

@zarala Mine is pretty consistently 12 days - I think it's been 13 days once and 12 days on all other occasions.

InDreamland · 21/07/2018 11:59

@zarala, sorry I'm useless with knowing answers to this kinda thing but if you're worried I'd say test. Good luck!

Lilimum4 · 21/07/2018 12:17

@zarala are you OK lovely

Virgo89 · 21/07/2018 12:23

Only 3 people knew about my pregnancy because I'm a worrier so wanted to wait until the 12 week scan before telling anyone as I didn't want to have to break the bad news to people. I only told my sister early because she had sussed me out! I wanted to keep it from my mum and surprise her on her birthday (she's desperate for her first grandchild) and needed my sister on side to help keeping it from my Mum lol. So I only had to tell 2 people (my sister and closest friend) the bad news.

@crazyhorseylady I'm in the same boat as you, my MC also happened naturally (I had a blighted ovum) and I got my BFN a couple of weeks ago and it's a bitter sweet feeling. Chin up, it means we can start TTC again soon 😊

@Indreamland I hope you're feeling better soon. The EPU told my about the pregnancy test two weeks later but didn't offer any counselling either. Any more baking on the cards today? Your lemon drizzle sounds fab 👌

zarala · 21/07/2018 12:28

Thanks @robin78 @Bath072019 @TinyPaws @InDreamland

But I am feeling foolish now as I am actually due on today not yesterday! (Misread the app)
Managed to get to the pharmacy in the village before they shut for the weekend and they only had one test to choose from which is so badly designed. And only works from when you're a day late and I'm technically not late yet! 🙈

I think it's a negative but there's a small shadow- because the test box is covered in reflective Perspex and I can't tell if it's the squinter of squinters or just the reflection from the reflective screen...
Guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow...or traipse into the city and find a better test! 🙄

@TinyPaws Ooh hope your line progresses over the next few days ! Fx

@Lilimum4 Thanks hun yes- I'm ok.
Think it's just wishful thinking!
How are you doing today??

Lilimum4 · 21/07/2018 12:59

@zarala I'm OK hun just wishing the days away so I can try again Hmm

InDreamland · 21/07/2018 14:30

@Virgo89 thanks, I'm really tired again today. Also seem to have s tag that came up yesterday that's all over my arms and a little on my legs too, I have no idea what it is, hope nothing serious and just related to changing hormones. No more baking today but maybe during the week I'll do a lemon drizzle.

@zarala don't feel foolish, it's easy to mix days up. Hopefully the test is clearer tomorrow and is a BFP.

zarala · 21/07/2018 15:15

@InDreamland thanks hun. I am going to buy some more tests just in case! And Haha it's ok- I tend to see the funny side in these things- i can laugh at my foolishness

Also when I first was pregnant I had a weird rash- so as you said it probably is just your hormones regulating!

InDreamland · 21/07/2018 15:38

@zarala that's impressive you understood what i was saying there, just realised I said "s tag " rather than "a rash". I hope the rash is just the hormones. Tesco do decent cheapie tests, after getting a BFP with a clear blue one back in May I wanted to check so bought a 2 pack from Tesco own brand and it was a very fast result.

Russkispy · 21/07/2018 16:44

@littleemma1 , I called them 2 weeks after I took HPT as it was still positive. And they asked me to retake a week later which I did. But I hardly can see the line, almost gone. Didn't bother to call them as going to EPU on Monday for HCG and prolactin blood tests. My fertility doctor asked me to get these done after D&C. Thought the hospital would refuse as they don't do things willy nilly and I prepared myself to argue but they agreed. Especially after a massive shocker prior taken to theatre. In my meeting with hospital on Wednesday I'll be discussing lots of things, nothing they can do for me now but I just want to make sure it'll never happen to anyone else!

KnitKitty · 21/07/2018 18:33

TinyPaws How frustrating! I hope the line gets darker and gives you a clear idea of what's going on! I have everything crossed for you!!!

zarala I hadn't realised where you were in your cycle... I know you're "off" this month officially, but can I still keep my fingers crossed for you for a little miracle? Do you feel like AF is imminent?

It went OK with our pregnant friend. My OH had given her a heads-up beforehand so she didn't mention the pregnancy until we talked about it. She's 15 or 16 weeks and wasn't really showing obviously. OH kept making sure I was doing OK... got me to help carry the drinks just to check up on me, what a sweetie.
We also got to spend time with her DD who is 1 and 1/2 and was a wee baba last time we saw her. She was really cute and has made me even more broody (as OH said, "is that even possible?!?") haha! Anyway, lovely lunch outside at a pub, back home for a nap (YellowDaffodils89 I don't usually nap... symptom spotting begins. Sigh! Told you I wouldn't be able to stop myself... Slept like the dead last night for the first time in ages too...) and now gearing up for a night out with the girls from work (and wondering what the hell to wear... feeling ever so frumpy at the moment). I feel like I'm babysitting as it's for our youngest colleague's 18th!!! All the others are in their early 20s, so I feel a bit like the grandma and won't be drinking to boot... I'm sure it'll be a laugh though.

Hugs for those who need it!

Boboelephant · 21/07/2018 21:06

Thanks lovely ladies!! It is just gorgeous here and I will definitely be sure to sample those pastizzi- thanks @strawberrye!
Haha will also double sunscreen the bottom and feet @KnitKitty! 😂😂
Sorry for af arrivals everyone xxx
@zarala lay the hippy on me! I am totally up for the breathing circle! Although not back until the 28th so won't make that one either. But I will 100% come to another one if you're keen!
@Russkispy I am also in London so would be up for a catch up. Makes me laugh as an Aussie that a little boy thinks that you as a Russian with an English accent sounds Australian! 😂

I have my fingers crossed for everyone in the chance zone!!! Sending you all baby dust.

@Boboelephant I know! Bless him!
I've now created a WhatsApp chat and have a couple of you on it now (you know who you're Smile) hopefully soon we can meet in person for a proper moan and chinwag! Look forward to it Smile

Lilimum4 · 21/07/2018 22:01

Just spent the evening at my mums for a BBQ and I had a great time need it this month to pick my mood up I've been horrible ( with not being able to try). Still didn't drink though, habit I think.

TinyPaws · 22/07/2018 06:19

My pregnancy test this morning was much fainter than yesterday's. I'm gutted. Sad

Laney79 · 22/07/2018 07:19

Oh @TinyPaws I'm so sorry. Do you think the rest yesterday was the drugs they gave you? Any chance you'll get a late implanter? Big hugs.

I have a question...as you guys know AF is visiting...basically it's only the second one proper since my MMC (I did have one end of May but there was no break between miscarriage bleeding and that) and both last month and this I've had heavy bleeding for 36/48 hours (weirdly not onto the pads so much-but felt the need to go to the loo every hour or so and i would lose it then) and then it just goes very very light for a day...I'm on the light day now-last month it only lasted about 4 days, this month it feels like it might be over after today which is only 3 days. It's nice that it's not lasting ages, but I'm a bit worried that it means my lining isn't thickening enough, and therefore not much to get rid of? My prob is I only had a few proper non pill periods before getting pregnant so I don't really know what's normal. I did used to get the blackish stringy stuff-but none of that last month or this so far. It maybe I guess my body is doing it all fine and just being uber efficient and getting rid of lining much quicker post MMC (I do feel I'm losing a fair bit in those initial two days) but as ever I'm worried it's actually something wrong. Anyone else experienced this?

Newbie21 · 22/07/2018 07:33

@Laney79 my second AF after my MC was brown spotting for a couple of days then nothing then very heavy for two days then very very light for two days. So different but similar. I too would suddenly feel a lot of blood loss and rush to the loo. Your AF can be different for a few months after an MC. I really doubt it is a problem. Maybe if it doesnt feel right on your next period (should it unfortunately show up) then speak to your GP maybe.

AF due yesterday, took a test this morning - a BFN but still no AF. I can feel it coming though so I'm not hopeful one bit plus it would have shown on the test today if I was.

Laney79 · 22/07/2018 07:40

Thanks @Newbie21 just want to check it's not something that will stop us catching in future-so sorry for the Bfn.

I think we're definately due some BFPs this next month on the thread. Keeping fingers crossed we are all showered in baby dust!

What vitamins/supplements do people take? GP prescribed higher dose folic acid for me post MMC and I take vitamin D but nowt else. Wondering if I should take one with iron/Zinc/vit b/vit e/vit c/selenium etc?

Newbie21 · 22/07/2018 07:47

I take the pregnacare conception tablets.

Russkispy · 22/07/2018 07:57

After MC I went to my fertility nutritionist and she prescribed these: and I'm starting fertility acupuncture on Tuesday. Had it for 4 months with my DD prior IUI

DOSAGE FOR REMEDIES

•	Lady's mantle tea (old tea): drink 1 to 2 cups during the day (was drinking it while TTC)
•	New Evening tea: drink 1 cup in the evenings
•	Vitex drops: take 20 drops in the mornings
•	Main Tincture Mix: take 7.5ml twice daily. Once you get used to the taste you can take 15ml once a day if easier. (Disgusting !)
•	Maca: 1 teaspoon per day each
•	Opti 3: take 2 a day with food
•	Pregna-plan: take 2 a day with food
•	partner's capsules: 2 a day
Lilimum4 · 22/07/2018 10:19

@TinyPaws I'm sorry to hear this hun. Big hugs. Be kind to yourself x

Lilimum4 · 22/07/2018 10:23

@Laney79 I take pregnacare conception

Blondcat · 22/07/2018 10:30

@tinypaws still keeping everything crossed for you.

@laney79 af seems not to be completely normal for me yet either. This is third after mc for me too. Fx neither of us have to have another x
On the vitamins point I take folic acid and vitamin d daily. I also take coq10 100mg daily and zinc a couple of times a week.

@newbie21 sorry for the bfn
