Here's the new thread. This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

Anyone else going into the 2ww? I'm 2dpo. I'm going on my holidays on Sunday so that should be a good distraction though it means af is due when I'm away...Couldn't remember if grapefruit juice was for fw or implantation but necked some at lunchtime anyway when I saw it on the cafe's menu! Have put pineapple on my Das shopping list.

This ovulation malarkey blows my mind. Last month I ovulated CD16. I normally start testing early so get plenty of the CB flashy faces before the still one. I done a test yesterday and was O and today it's the static smiley! I'm only CD12. No rhyme or reason!

Hopefully this will work this time...

13dpo af due tomorrow, although she is not the most punctual.
Boob soreness has eased off alot since tuesday, usually get it when af is imminent.
🤷🏻‍♀️plan to test Saturday if no af, but really am sick of the bfns!

@funkyemzie my eye keeps catching something in the first picture but not sure if there is something there. As the others have said it is early so hold tight and fx for a strong positive in a couple of days.

@Funkyemzie agree with @Blondcat , thought I could see a very faint line on the first picture but not so sure on the 2nd. Hopefully tomorrow test shows more clear line! Fingers crossed!

Hmm...bit odd today...just been to the loo and had LOTS of cm all of a sudden (Tmi but it kinda...dangled too ) looks like egg whites, clear and stretchy but my opk is negative and I'm only cd8...do you guys think it's a sign ov is coming early?
Also been really emotional and down this week, just can't shake it off. Anyone else had this? X

@KnitKitty thanks hun. I have everything crossed for you. I think getting DH involved in controlling the testing is a good idea. We all know how easy it it's to test too early and it just messes with our head!

@Funkyemzie I have been staring at them whilst angling my phone all over the shop and was just about to say no and then I saw it! I can see it on the second photo. Ooh can't wait for tomorrow's update!!!
@robin78 haha grapefruit juice is for before ovulation and fresh pinepple is 1dpo to 5dpo so enjoy it now! Hope your tww goes quickly.

@YellowDaffodils86 yep I did get a nasty sting at the Blue Lagoon two days ago. Here's what it looks like now! Haha nope didn't pee on it but a lovely English girl offered to for me! 😂 I went with the vinegar option offered by first aid. 😂 Hope that af comes nowhere near you!

@robin78 we are nearly in line this month. I'm 3dpo today I think (static smiley Sunday morning). We've been doing smep so tonight is the bonus night for luck! It's been exhausting to be honest as we started cd9 and the static wasn't until cd23! Hope we didn't tire out the best swimmers.

Ovulation malarkey haha @Bobzybaby - I'm so glad for testing this month else I'd be despairing over bfn this week!

@boboelephant I think Tuesday from normal 25 day cycle but based on last months 28 day one could be up to next Friday but as I don't temp or do opks not 100% sure will just try to jks this weekend and early - mid next week. How about you?

@Blondcat also not totally sure as my ovulation date jumps around a bit but maybe next Wednesday? So we're similar! Fx!!!!

So, personal question. How often does everyone DTD during fertile times? We try every 2 days and then on day of static smiley and day after then back to every 2 days. I read years ago that everyday isn't good for the swimmers as they need to 'build up'. But I recently read that it makes no odds? So confusing!

I’m really struggling today ladies. I’ve just been so sad since the start of this cycle for some reason. Earlier I broke down in the middle of Westfield while shopping today which wasn’t ideal. I just feel so hopeless and sad. Plus I’ve got lots of baby related things that I have to do coming up which I’m feeling stressed about. This weekend I’m going away to visit a friend who is about ready to give birth to her 3rd over next few weeks - I’m looking forward to seeing her but also stressing as I’m worried I might miss ov this month (due to ov on Monday or Tuesday when I’m back but it will be just my luck if comes early). Then next weekend a friend is over from Australia. She baby-bombed me a couple of weeks back which really floored me at the time & I’m still struggling with it now tbh (don’t know why some pregnancies are easier to cope with than others??). Then day after is my sisters baby shower - she’s had a rough ttc journey (she’s conceived through second round of ivf after years of trying) so I’m really happy for her and want to be there and support her as much as I can but it’s so hard at the same time. Even though it’s not loads iall these different things plus feeling rubbish are just getting on top of me. I have to go though so at the same time I don’t want to make a fuss just cos I’m feeling crappy.

Sorry for the long pity post. Just feel so low at the moment and don’t want to offload on dh yet again.

@sweetpea0318 do u know what, your 100% allowed to feel completely shitty, this ttc malarkey is bloody hard going on your body physically and totally mentally!

It's horrible isn't it, I went out with a friend last weekend who announced her pregnancy at the same time as my MC and we would have been exactly the same amount of weeks.

Do u know what, you have that pity party lovely a f**k what anyone else thinks. We're here for you and that's all we can do...just listen and virtually hold your hand! X

@sweetpea0318 oh poor you that sounds like a really tough schedule on top of feeling really down. No wise words to offer than sending hugs and remember it's ok not to be ok

@sweetpea Absolutely agreed with Funkyemzie. The crap we're all having to put up with would send anyone into an emotional tailspin. So you rant to us, get yourself into the middle of the huddle and hopefully at the very least you'll feel all the better for it. One day at a time.

Hugs @sweetpea0318 you're totally entitled to wobble. I definitely know what you mean about some pregnancies being harder than others. There's been no rhyme or reason for me - possibly about how I'm feeling when the news lands. And what is it with so many people being pregnant right now? I'm sure I didn't meet as many pregnant people in the 9 months of pregnancy with my wee girl than I've got in my life 3 months post mc. Hold your head high my love, the worst of times shall pass and your time will come x
