Here's the new thread. This is a lovely supportive thread for anyone who has suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately known as the penguin huddle- this is the place to survive the ups and downs of this crazy journey.

@hayleyfx I’m sorry to hear your worrying news, but I hope it was a bad angle and things are ok when you go on Friday.

@KnitKitty @Bobzybaby @YellowDaffodils86 Thank you! First day back went better than the last time I returned after MC. Most people I sit with were in a meeting all day so I was able to work on my own without having to fake small talk.

Had a chat with my HR lady and she was so kind and really took the time to listen to me. I appreciate that I'm very lucky to have this support as many companies are useless at doing just that. Feeling much better knowing I have that support. Glad my first day is over with!

@RedRobin7 glad to hear it went well. Hopefully each day will get a bit easier from
now 💐

Just catching up after a few days avoiding mn - I found myself obsessively reading threads about miscarriages and searching for success stories about people who got pregnant again straight away! So felt I should go on a self imposed exile as it was taking over my life..

Hope everyone is doing ok as they can be. Sorry for the bfns and the afs showing up :(

@Kintan that sounds very familiar! A self imposed exile sounds like a very sensible thing to do. I couldn’t sleep last night and ended up reading about miscarriages till 4.30am. I do not intend to have a repeat of that tonight...

RedRobin7 I'm glad it went better than expected today. It's good to have someone you can rely on for support at work.

Kintan I totally get needing a break from MN every now and then. Finding that balance is difficult. I tend to just stick to this thread and one other one for support.

@evening all. I've nothing to report. Have been keeping myself busy making wedding flowers for my cousin. I think they are turning out rather well

Hi all I have also been having a self imposed break from MN like @Kintan especially as this cycle is a non starter with DH abroad in fertile week. I'm 7DPO nowadays and just twiddling my fingers waiting for the next cycle to start so we can get trying again! Wish I able to twiddle tthumbsand and not symptom spot every TWW! Sending hugs to all who need them.

@Lilimum4 they are gorgeous you are so talented!

@hayleyfx so sorry to hear your news, larger heads than normal are quite common and hopefully it'll be an isolated finding, I'm guessing they will be doing a more detailed scan to look for more details? My thoughts will be with you

@boboelephant glad you are having a lovely time but ouch about the jellyfish!

@Mistymeow that sounds really tough. I did my first degree in performing arts and wanted to be an actor for awhile. Awesome that you're doing it! But I can't imagine how hard that must have been. Think I might be approaching fw too although u do ovulate later than you. @sweetpea0318 looks like we're about the same too!

@Kintan welcome back. Sometimes a break is what we need especially in order to stay sane and positive. I also only read this thread and try not to Google too obsessively. I've gotten better at this over time!

@strawberrye thanks hun. Having a ball, but yep ouch was right! All ok now, just a massive bruise and red marks. Hope af arrives soon so you can crack on next month. These cycles where you know you have no chance are frustrating but at least you had a little mind break from the symptom spotting obsessing!

I'm CD 11 here and have really not been thinking about TTC which has been nice. This is usually just the time I wait between af finishing and fw starting as I don't ovulate until day 17. Enjoying it now as back to UK on Saturday and I'm sure the temping/opks/grapefruit vomit juice craziness will commence!

strawberrye it's both frustrating and relaxing not having to symptom spot in the TTW, isn't it? Best of luck next cycle.
I'm 10DPO and due period on Saturday or Sunday. Won't be testing unless I'm late on though, so not until Monday at the earliest but more likely Tuesday. I have to get consent from OH to buy pregnancy tests now so I don't drive myself crazy. (That sounded controlling, I didn't mean he imposed it on me, but he likes being there for testing and doesn't really approve of testing too early as he sees what a mess it makes me, so our new thing is that I ask him when he wants us to test instead...)
Still no symptoms this morning.

Boboelephant that's exactly what you need int he no-mans-land between AF and FW! Hopefully all the relaxing has set you up nicely for a good cycle. :) Enjoy your last couple of days away! xxx

@knitknitty yeah I'm more irritated by it than anything so felt sorry for myself for a few days. Feeling much more positive! Have everything crossed for you this month. I didn't really have any symptoms when I got my bfp until the day of my missed period (aside from implantation bleed). Think it's wise not to test too early, it's too upsetting.

@lilimum4 beautiful flowers. I might buy a bunch to brighten my flat.

@boboelephant I think anyone who wants to be an actor is crazy, it's a frustrating industry (but I love it also!) Yes we seem to somehow cross over in our fw which is nice. I'm getting used to a slightly longer cycle since mmc.

So many familiar names on this thread and don't think I've even checked in on this one! Hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected. I'm now 3 months post MC and just accepted a new job at my current place of work so once I got my af then we would stop ttc until I've settled in my new very exciting role.

I've been feeling a bit squiffy the past couple of days and can't go the toilet (sorry!). Took this FRER this morning and not sure what to think. Bad timing if it's positive but extremely over the moon. Thoughts guys, I'm 11dpo today. Is it one of those stupid pink indent lines on them?

Obviously I will take another in the morning but sometimes you just need to know your not bat shit crazy (probably the truth).

@Funkyemzie I believe I can see the line. tentative congratulations!
I've attached a list of foods which I got from my acupuncturist and these are for quality egg and eat while TTC

@Funkyemzie I didn't want to read and run but i'm sorry I can't see anything on those. I'm not as experienced as others though. Definitely keep testing though, 11dpo is still early. Maybe try fmu tomorrow?

This new spotting before AF is really getting on my tits. None today but a little mixed with CM when I wipe. Just want her to arrive now so I can have a bottle glass of wine!!

@Funkyemzie sorry doll but I can't see anything on those tests. The camera doesn't always show things up as well though. Maybe best to wait a few days before testing again with FMU?

Thanks guys, I think it must be just the indent, I've never had a pink one before unless it's just caught a bit of the colour.

Hi everyone

Sorry meant to message yesterday but got caught up with work.

So basically I was meant to feast with some FRERs tomorrow morning that are turning up today to see if I can have a drink or two tomorrow evening but o had a spare non digi clear blue and caved this morning and tested (thinking was to ease myself into the BFN for tomorrow as have important work stuff in the morning and didn't want to be a disappointed mess). But I think it's a BFP!

Am 10dpo at the mo. Know clear blues are bad for evap lines but this one did arrive in about a min so think it may be genuine. Will check with a FRER tomorrow though to be sure

@KnitKitty had hardly any symptoms really hence why I thought it would be BFN. Bit of boob soreness and nausea/reflux but less than my other cycle 2ww's post mc. 🤷‍♀️ guess you just can't tell with this stuff! Saying that though could still be a chemical so will still have to wait and see even if is positive tomorrow.
How are you getting on? Are you testing soon or waiting it out to see if AF comes?
