implantation bleeds and stuff

You do know me, it's just that I don't feel ready to talk about any pg issues openly yet - this soon after my mc I feel uncharacteristically reticent!

Since my last period we suddenly got broody, after having said we'd wait some time. So we did the tests, worked out my dates and did the deed last Saturday.

Now, I am not sure exactly when my last period started, but I would expect my next one to be 14 days after ovulation - surely whatever the length of your cycle, it is always 14 days after ovulation? So a bit of bleeding (stringy brown bits) yesterday - is that an implantation bleed? Is an implantation bleed usually accompanied by lower back period type pains? Or is all this in my head?

I've only had one. (Unusual for me as following my last 2 mc I had 2 1/2 months to wait and worry about when AF might make an appearance.) My dh is very good at predicting these things but I have given him ample chances as this would be my 7th pregnancy in 8 years! He couldn't really be far off the mark. LOL now!

Thanks MommyD. I have disclosed very little about my current situation for fear of revealing my true identity. I will 'reveal' and humiliate myself on Tuesday. The timing would be rather awkward as we are also currently moving overseas and will have no medical coverage for 'pre-existing conditions' so I have many reasons for my choice of chat-name. heavy on the STUPID part!

I had lots of back and stomach cramps last night and i think AF will be arriving in the next couple of days.
Will probably still test tommorow morning if it hasn't arrived by then.

Nutty we only have one day to go, i have non pg symptoms and no af symptoms. Im normally bloated by now but nothing so dont know what to think, so i thinking im not.

SS not long to go for you either, i hope it all works out for you, you certainly sound like you have the symptoms. There is only you me and Nutty to go now so one of us must have a + test

CP3 I hope that the + test goes to you and/or Nutcracker. I suspect that I shall be getting one as well though. Only 4 more sleeps...

Well im due today!!!!! Cant test though as too nervous and test says to wait till a day late, may go get an early test though as i feel sick with nerves. No sign of af but i dont feel preggers either.

Am feeling sick with nerves as well... Hope all goes well for you. Hoping for a +. I was thinking that I can't possibly be pg as I don't feel sick but I can smell things that dh swears don't have an odour so maybe it is still early days. My boobs are so sore that I can barely stand to be in the shower so that would suggest that I must be ... Ooooh the head games.I think that I will get an early test too as ds2 is the result of an early '-' that made me distraught! Stay here to stay informed.

I am soooo excited and nervous all at the same time. Nutty and CP3, any news yet? Scaredstupid, all those symptoms sound very positive. I'd forgotten about the smell thing - then we went into central London this week and everyone/thing on the train and station were sooooo stinky!

Well chaps its not me. Just done an early test and was a bfn. Strange cos the smell thing is affecting me but i always test + with the early ones so definatley not. Gotta be Nutty or Scared stupid then. Ohhh im excited for you

May as well as it was a two test one. I dont feel upset actually which im surprised at, but then again my sil has just fallen pregnant and id like her to have the attention for a change iyswim.

Oh! CP3 I'm sorry. Is there any chance that your dates are a bit mixed up? I am impressed that you are not more disappointed. When will you use the second test? Where did you buy the early ones? Did they cost a fortune? I will go into shock if I am pg but I would also be surprised to see a BFN.
Fisil: The sense of smell thing is killer in London. I have to live here and everything really does stink when you are pg. How are you feeling this morning?

I got a first response one from sainsburys, says you can teat as ealy as 3 days before you are due. Yes too bloody expensive!!!! I will do early morning test tomorrow but i usually do test + on the day im due which im sure is around today. There could be a mix up as i have problems with bleeding but i know when i ovulated so i very much doubt it.

Wheres Nutty? Maybe she got a + and has passed out on the bathroom floor

In the end i didn't even test this morning as I was certain I would get AF today as i've had bad stomach cramps. Anyway AF hasn't arrived yet so I will test in the morning.

My cycles do vary between 30 and 34 days though and am only day 31 today so i could be testing too early.

nutcracker: Thanks for keeping us informed! Well done for holding off. I am still up at 1:32 trying to prove to myself that I cannot possibly be pg or i would have to be in bed by now. Am still not convinced. I am such a newbie nobody that you likely won't ever have heard of me... Stop trying to guess.

CP3 I saw the test today in Boots (triple points...) but I resisted the urge as I know that I would test before Tuesday if they were sitting here. The funny thing is that it is far more economical to buy more that one but everytime I have ever bought a 'multi-pack' the first test is + and I end up losing the others before the next pregnancy. Don't want to jinx myself by buying more than one actually!

Hsd friends round today with their adorable baby. They are expecting an 'accidental' second db and their ds will only be 13 months when baby arrives. Eek! I certainly do not envy them. I am not tempted to test today as I find the price of the test is enough to help me resist the possibility of a false negative. Still no AF and very sore boobs continue so perhaps I really am pg. I am still not sure what will be more of a shock/disappointment a BFN or a BFP.
I was finding it hard not to be jealous of my friend's lovely bump and thinking that I should also be due in 3 months... Who knows?

Hello, sorry been out all day again.

Right tested this morning again and BFN, still no AF though, so i think i'm gonna be having a 34/35 day cycle this mth which does ocasionally happen.

So it must be SS

SS, im so miserable today, dont know if because of the bfn or cos period due. Also cant stop eating and snapping at everyone. I was fine till i saw alittle baby boy at work this morning. I am very tired though as Ds woke at 5, si iget snappy if tired.

Am keeping my fingers crossed for you and Nutty, also decieded to go to gym in white tracky bottome to see if that will bring af on.
