Over 40TTC - bding despite the heat wave?

Been going through my dates. Miscarriage was on 17.6.18. I did have tons of cm around 14.7.18 so wondering if this current aberration is due to a delay in ovulating after that loss. Since the boobs are currently very sore I’m thinking I’m either going to see an AF by the end of this week or perhaps I should try another pee stick then.

Chat...that's hilarious! (About your dc walking in on you at the wrong moment!) that hasn't happened to us .. .yet!
Welcome Crivit &
Welcome Dinah and sorry to hear about your mc's. I'm the 2nd oldest i believe at 46. I also set myself a deadline of it has to happen before 45 but it just keeps on slipping! And yes i also feel too old to keep having sex. 3x a month is good for us!
Karigan..i'm leaving it to fate now as we have ds and at this age coping with a naughty 4 year old, the thought of having another makes me want to hide away in a dark room!

BooseysMom · 31/07/2018 18:31

Welcome @Ficidy. Didn't mean to miss you out!

Karigan-I don't know about you but I found bding on these hot days a hard work! I assumed the heat wave won't last as long as August (hopefully) so I went with Shiny's suggestion.

Thanks everyone for the lovely welcome.

Dinah99 · 31/07/2018 23:08

What's everyone's opinion on alcohol? I've done months of no booze and been wound up like a spring. None, moderate, only in first 2 weeks and none in 2ww? X

Chatbash72 · 31/07/2018 23:23

I gave up booze in jan... feel like I've become a boring cow.... but have had 2 m/cs so far this year so I have had the odd drink.. but prob sadly perhaps 2/3 per month if that

CookieWaffle · 01/08/2018 07:18

@Dinah99 I think i read on here somewhere someone say 'drink til its pink' or basically don't stop til you get that positive test. I haven't stopped personally but then i don't drink much.

Dinah99 · 01/08/2018 10:45

Thank you @CookieWaffle @Chatbash72
God it's a minefield, all the things to eat then not to eat, I get them all mixed up. Haven't tried the whole pineapple core thing yet... x

crivit · 01/08/2018 11:27

I haven't had full on alcohol for several years now (other health reasons) but I have a little low alcohol (less than 0.5%) beer / cider / wine every now and then. Would love to find some decent low alcohol spirits too!

On the plus side, no-one will think I'm pregnant before I would want to announce it just because I refuse an alcoholic drink Smile

Chatbash72 · 01/08/2018 13:57

@crivit have you tried the non alcohol gin ? Noticed it in Tesco

crivit · 01/08/2018 14:14

@Chatbash72 - Just looked at the website, the Seedlip one? I'll be trying that nod

Chatbash72 · 01/08/2018 15:31

Yup seedlip

mondaycando1 · 01/08/2018 18:03
