Chatbash72 · 20/07/2018 18:36

I wonder if it could be an evap line? But with the spotting over last few days am mega confused.. more tests bought.. we'll see what tomorrow brings

Chatbash72 · 20/07/2018 18:59

Scratch that last comment just read an Interesting thread on evap lines.. there is HGC in my system.. how the hell has that happened??? I had an af, bitching cramps, bleeding not many clots.. in slight panic about an ectopic but am experiencing no pain in ovary or tube area.. and would have thought that would be having some twinges or pain.. head is spinning 😱😱🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Cleozeta · 20/07/2018 20:18

Exciting!!

littlemimosa · 20/07/2018 20:35

Oooh Chat that’s so exciting! Keep us posted.

Ali - sadly not no. Sex is low on the agenda at the moment for various reasons. I’m also having a couple of cycles off ttc as the stress is getting us down. I’ll still post though as not giving up fully. How are u?
Cleo - yes I did an opk which was positive. I am very pleased it wasn’t an anovulatory yes. Fully expecting af 14 days from that opk. Glad to just have my cycle back if I’m honest!

Orchid222 · 20/07/2018 21:50

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Chat!
Mimosa-hopefully taking your mind off ttc will reduce your stress and lead to a bfp in the near future.
We really need a pregnancy on here ladies, come on Chat! :)

Argh I went on Amazon to buy ubiquinol and my good deal is not available! There's a good deal on stronger ones but they are 500mg each so that's too much right? I guess I'll need to stick to 300mg and pay for 30 softgels same as I paid for 90 in the past...

Letsdothis42 · 21/07/2018 02:26

Oh @Chat I am keeping everything crossed for you! we definitely need a positive on this thread!

@apple, welcome to the thread, I too am considering IVF and I will let no stats put me off, there has to be a chance HAS to be!

DH and I have been DTD every second morning, so I am hoping something sticks! will try to keep going until AF does or doesn't arrive in approx 13 -14 days from now!

Cleozeta · 21/07/2018 07:40

Good luck with your test today chat!

Orchid have you tried ebay for ubiquinol deals?

Cleozeta · 21/07/2018 07:43

Mimosa thats great that you are back on track. Sounds more like something that delayed ov rather than anything perimenopausal.

Chatbash72 · 21/07/2018 08:07

2 negative tests this morning so must have just been a duff test.. sorry ladies.. my ubiquinol that I ordered from woods last week hasn't arrived yet... is that normal for them?

CritterTamer · 21/07/2018 08:17

Ah Chat, so sorry - I think we were all really excited for a bit there Sad

Mimosa - such good news for you, hopefully everything will return to normal now!

Cleozeta · 21/07/2018 10:21

Sorry it was bfn chat, how disappointing. Not over yet through until af arrives!

I can't remember how long delivery from woods takes, may have been a week?

BooseysMom · 21/07/2018 10:46

Chat..sorry about your bfn.
I haven't posted for a few days as we've had a horrendous time with DH getting what we were told was a re-occurrence of his pleurisy he had last year. Paramedics out at 2am and DS sleeps thru the whole thing! ! The idiot doctors make him take really strong antibiotics then decide it actually isn't pleurisy after all but a severe chest infection.. Make your bloody mind up doc!! We're now facing financial difficulty as DH may well not be able to go back to his postie job as it was being over worked that caused it..i say sue the bastards! ! Which means ttc is prob off the menu permanently as we just can't afford dc2 😭
Sorry for such a downer but i may just give up now...but maybe i could still participate as an onlooker as i'm interested to hear how you're all doing. You ladies are my only friends ffs!!

Chatbash72 · 21/07/2018 22:34

Oh @BooseysMom I'm so sorry things are really pants at the moment... hope your hubs is making a slow but good recovery.. you are on this journey with us.. and we are all here for each other... sending big hugs xxx

BooseysMom · 22/07/2018 10:22

Thanks Chat. ..that means alot Smile

MATTSMAMMA · 22/07/2018 10:48

Just popping on briefly to send a massive virtual hug to you Booseysmom. Flowers. Sorry I’ve not been able to post very much recently (partly because of lots of stuff going on) and partly because I’m just trying to come to terms with the fact that I don’t think it’s going to happen for me and I’m sort of struggling with it a bit - sometimes I’m ok others not Sad. AF due Wednesday and I’ve akready tested like a woman possessed Confused. Anyway although I’m not posting regularly I pop in very often and read all your posts. I will try and post more often but forgive me if I dont. Sending positive vibes and hugs to all of you - and if course lots of luck and babydust xx

CritterTamer · 22/07/2018 20:17

@BooseysMom I’m so sorry to read this, I hope your DH is recovering well and you are both looking after each other xxx

littlemimosa · 22/07/2018 20:26

Oh Booseys and Matts- hope you’re both ok. I hear you, I really do. I know I keep harping on about it but FertileHeart (website) and her books is really helping me cultivate some positivity and to ward off fears about my age.
Booseys- i’ve had pleurisy a couple of times so I feel very sorry for your DH. It’s awful. What I do know with me is that stress can bring it on/make it worse and that rest, sleep, de-stressing and eating lots of anti-inflammatory foods helps. Turmeric is amazing and you can get capsules now to take so you don’t have to sprinkle it over all your meals. Of course ibuprofen is great too but I try to steer clear of relying on it too much. Hope he recovers quickly hun.

Letsdothis42 · 23/07/2018 01:37

@Chat sorry to hear of the BFN Sad thinking of you

@Booseysmum ... sorry to hear of the unwell DH and struggles you are having, please don't give up hope I was watching this ...

and if she can do it I feel there is hope for everyone of us!

MATTSMAMMA · 23/07/2018 07:32

Littlemimosa - thank you x. I’m certainly going to look at that website and interesting about the turmeric as I do have some other issues that could help with.

Letsdothis. I remember seeing that lady and had forgotten - its hard to remain positive sometimes but yes your right- it can and does happen Smile

Chatbash72 · 23/07/2018 08:09

Ooh @Letsdothis42 thank you I needed to see this.... on low days it's hard to believe... 💕

Apple04 · 23/07/2018 21:08

Hi. This thread moves so fast! Thank you all for the good advice on ivf. We decided that we would go for it after two more cycles. Our lives are very stressful just now and I was worried about adding more stress with ivf. However, as of an hour ago I am hoping it won't be needed as I just got a squinter of a bfp at 12dpo!! 5th positive pregnancy test and we are ttc our first. Its early days and I have significant risk of mc so not getting my hopes up. Just aiming for next weekend to start with!

weasledee · 23/07/2018 21:29

Apple this is amazing news!!! We're going to need a picture as we get excited about pee sticks!!!!
Congrats Smile

BooseysMom · 23/07/2018 22:01

Matts, Critter, Little & Lets..thank you all so much for your heart warming msg's and kindness.
Matts..i feel we're on the same page with ttc as in feeling it's just not going to happen. But still something keeps on at me to keep trying.
Little. .funny you should mention turmeric. I've got Jamie's Superfoods book and it features in there. I used it in the fish curry recipe . Didn't realise that it was anti-inflammatory so thanks for the tip. DH has stomach probs and so anything to reduce reliance on pills has got to be good.
He's feeling loads better since he was told to stop taking the antibiotics or donkey pills! The docs are now saying it isn't actually pleurisy but acute inflammation of the ribs brought on by physical exertion..ie. His job! He's decided this is the push he needs to do the teaching he's been working towards. So feeling more positive now. I do appreciate having you all to turn to in such times. Thank you xx
