I would love to be able to post the link but that would require too much technological savviness for me... I just went into YouTube and put in yoga yin fertility yoga... there is a 17min session and then access to other sessions.. hope that helps @Leezo
I just take pre Natalie, omega 3.6,9 and just ordered some Ubiquinol ( which is supposed to be good for egg quality)
As for good stories 2 friends aged 44 have just had little ones, my sis had a m/c at 7 weeks and the within the year had a little girl.. she was 41 at the time x

Cleozeta · 12/07/2018 20:00

Leezo, it's recommended that we have ubiquinol for egg quality, I think other than that it's suppliments that help your personal situation. For example I am taking EPO to help with ewcm, b complex to (supposedly) help with LP. Wheatgrass to help with high fsh, and seven seas pre conception. For a while I took soy isoflavones to help with ovulation.
To be honest if your cycles are regular and everything is normal, you probably only need folic acid (or pre conception) and ubiquinol

Leezo · 12/07/2018 20:28

@Cleozeta thank you for the info. Where would I get a hold of Ubiquinol and what strength/how much is recommended to take? Sorry for all the questions, as I said I'm very new to this!x

Cleozeta · 12/07/2018 21:26

Woods suppliments are the cheap and good option as they often have offers on it. Unfortunately as a general rule ubiquinol is quite expensive so I'd avoid places like holland and barret for that particular suppliment as it always full price and your poor wallet won't make it out alive.
You can get the same brand a lot cheaper on ebay.
As for quantity I'm not really sure. I was taking 100mg before, but I had a mc so egg quality was obviously still crap, so upped it to 200

Chatbash72 · 12/07/2018 23:24

@Leezo I have just ordered some from woods... 100mg £19.99 60 tablets I think

littlemimosa · 12/07/2018 23:44

Leezo - I agree best place to get YogaYin is YouTube. She has a website too but I think YouTube is best because it tells you very clearly beside each one what it’s for eg there’s one for egg quality, one for balancing hormones, one for anxiety and so on. You can choose them by length too according to how much time you have. Re supplements I take Ubiquinol, pre-conception vits and my new one vitamin E. I have reduced this a lot. I was on a veritable concoction up until recently but just got fed up with it all.

CookieWaffle · 13/07/2018 06:41

Morning ladies, thanks for the positivity

Orchid222 · 13/07/2018 06:51

Cookie I thought AF was already late! Its normal to get faints before AF is due, mine didn't get darker until I was a few days overdue. Try not to worry, it takes time for the hormones to increase.

CookieWaffle · 13/07/2018 06:56

Thanks Orchid :) Last month I was 27 days which would've been yesterday but I'm usually 28 days. I'm just being too impatient and don't want to lose this!

weasledee · 13/07/2018 07:03

Morning ladies, AF has arrived! I'm actually kind of relived...
Onto the next month, I've decided on a sex marathon, from day 8 onwards......

CookieWaffle · 13/07/2018 08:03

Sorry to hear that weasledee :( but good plan you have there! I suggest crack open a bottle of something cold to help you plan :)

Cleozeta · 13/07/2018 09:20

Cookie mine was still faint up until about 16 or 17dpo so I wouldn't worry yet. Take each day as it comes and be positive Smile

Weasle - well done for such a positive out look! Go for the marathon!!

I'm cd9 and no sign of anything yet, temps a bit haywire but trying not to read too much into that. Not going to dtd until we at least get a high on the monitor as I don't want dh running out of steam too early

Chatbash72 · 13/07/2018 09:44

Keeping fingers crossed CookieWaffle but will get darker as hormones increase... good luck for the marathon weasledee.. my dh is in doghouse.. so we'll see if he can turn it around for dtd later.. aiming for every other day for next few days.. away next week just before app predicted ov.. 😬

CookieWaffle · 13/07/2018 11:29

Thanks ladies, my god these cramps are not fun. My usual AF ones last a day and usually a paracetamol sorts them out. I feel like I need to grab a hot water bottle or something, would that be bad?

Leezo · 13/07/2018 13:08

@Cookiewaffle I don't think a bit water bottle would do any harm or a warm bath - not hot obviously!! I had the most awful lower back cramps and lower abdominal cramps for a few weeks post implantation and was told it was completely normal and actually quite positive! Eekk good luck!! xxx

BooseysMom · 13/07/2018 13:31

Leezo...Thank you v.much for the good wishes. .the same to you! I forgot to say sorry for your losses too. But i think you won't be on here for too long as it happened for me at 40 after 3 years ttc. Yes let's both do a Sharon! ! Although you've got 6 years on her..you spring chicken you!! Grin
Cookie...interesting about your cramps. That's exactly what i've been getting and it's been so uncomfortable i've taken to bed too and have missed out 3 days of valuable dtd time!! I'm rubbish at this sorry but do you count from the 1st day of your last af?! I just had a blue fit when i thought i had missed an af as i'd written down 2nd June as last af!! Then found out last af was 26th June! No wonder i didn't even realise i was preg all that time with ds!! Confused

CookieWaffle · 13/07/2018 13:39

Thanks Leezo :)

@BooseysMom I'm a tracking app freak and have been glued to Fertility Friend so I know when my AF is kinda due. I'm currently 14 days since it predicted I ovulate and day 28 of my cycle (counting day 1 as first day of previous AF). Its shocking how much I've learned about what my body is up to.

BooseysMom · 13/07/2018 15:13

Thanks Cookie. So i'm currently on day 17 and i just don't get this as it says on the babycenter one that i ovulated july 2nd - 7th but i thought i ovulated this week!! I honestly thought i'd ovulated this week. So i'm getting my days totally out of whack!! We dtd x3 so i may still have a chance ..we shall see!

Orchid222 · 13/07/2018 15:53

Weasle I don't mean to dampen your enthusiasm re: sex marathon but just a word from someone who's done it many times: it doesn't necessarily work. I use digital cb opk's which show high fertility days as well as peak and I always feel that we should dtd each day it's high and of course the day it's peak and 2 days after. Since I usually get 5 days of high fertility we end up dtd 8 days in a row. We've done it many times and I only got a bfp once and that's not necessarily thanks to that, I think it was just the time after a year of trying and 3 months of TCM. That being said do go for it, I really hope it works, I just wanted to make sure you have realistic expactions and won't be disappointed if it doesn't work which of course I hope will not be the case.
Booseys-it would help if you could narrow down your ov time as much as you could. Maybe try temping since I think you said opk's don't work for you?

CritterTamer · 13/07/2018 16:09

Hi all, hope you’re all doing ok 😊
Careful with the sex marathons - unless you are lucky enough to have a DH in his early 20s his sperm count and quality will be reduced if he ejaculates every day - every 2 or even 3 days is optimum especially if he has any sperm issues. You shouldn’t go any longer than 3 days though either as he will be shooting out mainly dead sperm after 3 days abstinence. Hope this helps (the things you learn from IVF!)

@Cookie - everything is crossed that this is a sticky one for you xxx🤞

BooseysMom · 13/07/2018 17:23

Orchid...thanks.. Good idea about temping. Wish i'd kept my fertility thermometer now. Chucked it out years ago.
Critter ... Didn't realise they
shoot out mainly dead sperm after 3 days abstinence. .we go alot longer than that at times!!

Cleozeta · 13/07/2018 18:19

We were dtd once a month when I conceived ds!

CritterTamer · 13/07/2018 18:36

Apparently the sperm that are sitting around in the tubes only have a shelf life of 3 - 5 days max. After that they die and will need to be ejaculated before any fresh sperm can get through. Of course they could be used up in other ways than by DTD though!

Also volume/count will be dramatically lower if ejaculation happens every day.

BooseysMom · 13/07/2018 19:17

Cleo.. omg so did we!! I was at the stage where i was getting too scared to try as the mc i had was really painful and i'm a big wuss!! At one point we absteined for 6 months. .i'm surprised DS didn't go off with a younger model tbh..he's a good un! Grin

weasledee · 13/07/2018 19:25

To be honest ladies, I feel it's the only thing we haven't tried. All my previous pregnancies, including ones that ended in miscarriage have been when we had sex once (!!!) on ovulation day on the first month of trying each time. Things have have gone off dramatically this year ( just one chemical)
