Realistically I think I'm clinging to hope. Have just peed 4 times in past hour. Stopped the progesterone pessaries today and think I'm having withdrawal symptoms!!
@critter don't give up hope. You never know what's going on in there. Fingers crossed for you.....And everyone.

Cleozeta · 23/06/2018 15:56

Critter - my implantation twinges only lasted one day, and I didn't feel anything after that until near when af was due and I had cramps. Keep positive Smile

Presh - sorry I can't see anything either and I think it's higher than I would have expected. Maybe test again tomorrow?

Mimosa - good luck at gp, I hope they can help

CritterTamer · 23/06/2018 16:12

Thanks all, trying to keep my chin up! That’s interesting Cleo, most things I had read seemed to imply that once the cramping started it kept coming and going continuously until BFP or later - you have made me feel better 😊 why is it that even when we promise ourselves that we will absolutely, 100% NOT symptom spot this time, we can’t help ourselves?! 😁

weasledee · 23/06/2018 17:57

Oh critter that's so true! I always say I won't test early too...... Grin

CritterTamer · 23/06/2018 18:05

Haha yes - I’m supposed to wait until July third to test! Not sure why when the embryologists told me that the embryos would need to hatch and implant within two days realistically to have a chance, which would have been by yesterday - seems like waiting 12 days after that to test is a long time...

Cleozeta · 23/06/2018 19:52

Critter I wouldn't be waiting that long....

CritterTamer · 23/06/2018 20:06

Cleo - yeah not sure I’ll make it! AF would normally be due for me on Tuesday so will definitely be more hopeful if I make it that far - won’t even start thinking about testing until after that 😊

Is anyone else addicted to Love a Island at the moment? For some strange reason it’s really helping me with this 2ww!

CritterTamer · 23/06/2018 20:07

That should have been Love Island obviously......😳

Cleozeta · 23/06/2018 20:22

Yes me! Completely addicted. I love it Grin

littlemimosa · 23/06/2018 23:13

Loving Love Island:-)

Critter - step away from the symptom spotting. It’s a guessing game! So from 5 day transfer how many days do they suggest waiting to test? Wouldn’t you deduct 5 from your usual LP? So say 9 afterwards? I’m probably being dumb here....

Ali - omg you’ve just given me a lightbulb moment. A couple of years ago I started taking Maca and distinctly remember now (had totally forgotten til you mentioned it) that I had my first ever anovulatory cycle!! I’m so stopping that. Thanks so much for trying to help me work this thru. It could be a coincidence of course but let’s see.... how’s things with you?

Alibaba2 · 24/06/2018 08:11

I’m ok thanks Mimosa. Hoping for a decent next cycle after 2 crappy ones. Due AF tomorrow and will start back on epo.

littlemimosa · 24/06/2018 09:24

Ali - in what way crappy cycles?
I’m so glad you mentioned those herbs. I can’t stop thinking that they might be messing up my cycles. I googled it and apparently Vitex can lower oestrogen!! Loads of people posting online that their ovulation stopped from it. Lots of people also saying it helped them but im guessing that if your oestrogen is high to start with it could be good. Not for me it seems. Had a much better night last night too in terms of hot flashes....
What do you take?

CritterTamer · 24/06/2018 12:14

@Littlemimosa - great advice - I’m trying honestly! It doesnt help that DH is one of those super optimistic, power of positive thinking type people and he’s convinced it will happen so easily - he’s even started talking to my tummy LOL. Whenever I try to tone him down and be realistic about the chances he accuses me of being negative... 😔

Anyway they gave me an official test date of July third which is 14 days after transfer. I guess they just want to be absolutely sure there are no false negatives as you stop taking progesterone if you get a BFN at this date.

So glad you found the probable reason for your anovulatory cycleand had a better nights sleep - hope everything gets back to normal for you soon xxx

Alibaba2 · 24/06/2018 12:39

Mimosa - Just no decent hormonal symptoms. Normally I feel quite positive approaching ov but nothing. Didn’t even feel ov like I usually do. Did get the shivers around 7dpo as normal. Have had more night sweats than normal.

Alibaba2 · 24/06/2018 15:23

One plus-side of crap hormones is no pmt! I did feel crap for the first half of cycle though. No oestrogen-high.

littlemimosa · 24/06/2018 23:08

Ali - you sound like me. I’ve missed my oestrogen this cycle too. I’m dreading menopause if this is a taste of things to come. How crap is being a woman. I don’t know where to go from here to be honest. I’ve tried literally everything. I can’t go on like this but nor Can I let it go:( I feel such a longing for a baby it’s heart-wrenching. I feel like I’m coming to the end of the road but I don’t know how I’ll cope without the hope. Feeling sad tonight. Hope you ladies are all ok and better than me.

Chatbash72 · 25/06/2018 07:27

littlemimosa is there anything you can take or eat to up your oestrogen? I was using massage oils, drinking raspberry leaf tea and getting into a stress. My best friend said ditch it all and try and trust in you own body.. since those words I did and although I have had 2 m/c more than all last year with temp taking.
hubs and I try to dtd every other day for at last first 2 weeks of cycle and third week if not too exhausted..
I totally understand the ache... every flipping one is preggo at the mo.. including my sis in law.. social media does not help!
I do get the odd hot moment but before af or after ov... but while af still comes there is still hope for all of us...
sorry you are feeling low at the moment... hoping for you and you all 🤞🤞💕💕⭐️⭐️⭐️

Chatbash72 · 25/06/2018 07:31

I do appreciate not everyone can get that busy during the cycle.. but we are just trying to still keep it fun and do it when we fancy.... and not functional but cover our bases as not always 100% sure when the egg drops. So making sure swimmers are in the tubes somewhere... although hoping they don't have my hubs crappy sense of direction 🤦‍♀️...

weasledee · 25/06/2018 09:21

Ha ha chat that made me laugh Smile

So I'm right in the middle of fertile time, had a good temp drop yesterday, so looking good so far.....

Chatbash72 · 25/06/2018 09:39

Get busy weasledee 🤣

Cleozeta · 25/06/2018 10:04

Mimosa I totally understand where you are coming from, I felt exactly the same last year, and still do sometimes, although for the time being I have a modicum of hope which is something. You WILL get that hope back. Your cycles will get back on track and there will still be a chance for you. But I totally understand that when you are feeling like this during a difficult cycle it is hard to see beyond it. I went through exactly what you are going through and still got a bfp afterwards. Find some suppliments which will help you get back on track. I think as you are low on oestrogen, soy isoflavones may help you, as they can pick that back up again. Maybe one or two cycles on those could help once af returns.

Chat - wow you are super busy! I think I would rum out of steam well before ov if I did that! Haha. I use opk's etc but don't tell dh when its 'time', I just instigate then, so it's still natural and fun. We tend to do every other day for just the time through ov, so normally from the arrival of ewcm or a faint opk line to the day or so after temps have confirmed ov.

I am also currently midcycle, had a rise this morning and +opk yesterday so think I should be in 2ww now but will probably dtd once more to be sure. This cycle was really nice and smooth with no drama's, only concerns this time (there is always something) was my ewcm was brown, and ov seemed to happen a day later, as it normally happens 1st day of peak, this time it was 2nd day of peak, and there was no pre ov dip for the first time ever. But I'm not worried, in comparisson to previous months it was pretty smooth! Time to relax. I love the 2ww.

MATTSMAMMA · 25/06/2018 10:27

Morning ladies - MIMOSA I totally feel the same as you. Wondering how long I can put myself through this but I can’t let go either. I told myself 45 would be my cut off then 46 but I’m still here feeling exactly he same at 48 and I know my chances are so slim but then I have hope as I’m still ivjkatj g and have a regular albeit shorter now 25/26 day cycle. I hope you feel better soon but I so know how hard it is Sad

I’m on cd 19 of what is usually a 25/26 cycle. Symptom spotting all the time even though I know how totally unreliable that is as I had symptoms when I knew there was no chance at all of being preggo!! Only thing different this cycle is I ALWAYS get sore boobies immediately after ov but this month nothing until yesterday maybe and even then not like normal. Also had tingly right nipple and period like cramps but had them before Confused. As always trying.l not to be hopeful but failing!!

CHAT - I’m full of admiration for your stamina Grin.

WEASLE - have fun Grin

MATTSMAMMA · 25/06/2018 10:39

Should read still ovulating and having a regular cycle! Sorry for typos Blush

Chatbash72 · 25/06/2018 11:31

Cleozeta OH thinks and acts like a teen, stroppy, overly dramatic.. sometime wonder if he is my extra child.. and quite clearly not paying attention in sex Ed.. as thinks you can get pregnant in the week before your af arrives.. so have to be on the ball ( so to speak 🤣🤣) early in cycle 🤦‍♀️

Hobbes39 · 25/06/2018 11:45

Hi all, hope you re enjoying this sunshine!
My bleeding is tailing off now - I'm one week post ERPC, so hopefully by next week my hormones will be back to where they should be 🤞. I'm slightly dreading buying a pregnancy test to check HCG is back down next week - just so depressing to be looking for a negative...
Anyway, mimosa - you said you've self diagnosed low oestrogen- just wondering if you could get a test to check? I did acupuncture for a while with a 'natural fertility' specialist and while it clearly didn't work I do remember she said that low oestrogen isn't as common as people think as she said there are loads of oestrogens in our food etc. I know it does drop as we get older, but she was convinced that most people are low progesterone rather than estrogen... anyway, it made me think, that it's worth checking as could be treating the wrong thing...
