"Supported as mothers in the nhs process.. " I meant to say

MATTSMAMMA · 22/06/2018 15:52

Well said CHAT and yes that’s so true - one life - live it and definitely don’t dance to anyone else’s tune. At the end of the day we all have to do what feels right for us. I though Brigitte looked fab too. Sending a group hug to you all - it really is lovely to be part of a group who totally ‘gets it’ xx

BooseysMom · 22/06/2018 16:25

It sure is Matts and thanks for the hug!
Chat. .100% with you on the naysayers, particularly family as mine has been extremely unsupportive with comments like am i crazy and what if it's got disabilities? ! So nice to have such loving relations. .lol. So i'm with you on not telling them until i have to. What i would do to turn back the clock and do it all again only to have the chance to tell all the naysayers to do one! ! Grin

Cleozeta · 22/06/2018 17:09

Completely agree! It's no one else's business how old people are, and in my personal opinion a lot of older parents are better equiped and more experiened and stable than younger ones who are often barely out of chilhood themselves.

On another note, has anyone else ever experienced brown ewcm? Not sure if its age related or mc related!

Presh12345 · 22/06/2018 17:28

So after a MMC last year, a Graves diagnosis this year, various tests and ultrasounds and bloods etc, I was told I had a thin lining at 6mm and was put on progesterone twice a day for the 2 weeks after ovulation. Thing is, AF hasn't shown up yet. She was due today and is never ever late. Have POAS 3 and 5 days ago and got BFN. Am a bit afraid to poas again because I don't want to be disappointed.

Chatbash72 · 22/06/2018 17:29

Cleozeta I did have some a few cycles ago, it can just be residual blood from the egg being released

Alibaba2 · 22/06/2018 17:34

Where are you in cycle Cleo? I sometimes get some first week of cycle and sometimes end of cycle.

Presh, any symptoms? What do your instincts say?

Cleozeta · 22/06/2018 17:40

Ali I am cycle day 11, usually ov on cd14, so this is pre ov ewcm.
Chat - maybe although I had a bit of brown spotting between af and now too. No idea why. Maybe mc related perhaps

Presh - maybe give it a day or two then test again if no af?

Presh12345 · 22/06/2018 18:33

@Alibaba have had what I would normally describe as period pains. Had a really bad pain on Tuesday on my right side, stinging. Lasted a few minutes. However I know I ovulated from left side through u/s. BBT is still risen but that could be because of progesterone. Had horrendous taste in my mouth for 2 days but gone now. Niggling headache but not banging and a slight sore throat. Haven't even got anything to compare to because when I was pregnant before the MMC, we weren't really trying so wasn't symptom spotting.

Cleozeta · 22/06/2018 19:16

Do a test! Smile

weasledee · 22/06/2018 19:59

I agree with cleo, do that test Smile

Alibaba2 · 22/06/2018 20:54

Good luck Presh, fingers crossed!

Cleo, could be from the MC yes. I had a very long period and spotting for 2 cycles after mine.

littlemimosa · 22/06/2018 22:41

Ali - no. I tested and bfn. Thanks for thinking of me though. Still all dried out here. Nothing at all to report. Am enjoying eating lots and trying to gain a few pounds though. I read that thinner women have less oestrogen as it stores in fat cells. In for a penny....:-)

Ladies I couldn’t agree more. Some people just get kicks out of judging others. Especially women. I don’t care what anyone thinks about me ttc at 42. Women have been doing it at our age for ever. 53 is impressive though!! Do we think it’s donor eggs?

weasledee · 22/06/2018 23:02

Little don't worry about the weight thing! I'm very very slim (naturally, can't gain any weight annoyingly) and I had an over 9lb baby! The looks I still get when people ask the DC weight! I think they are being a bit judgy and expect me to say 5lb or something!!
And yes I think she had donor eggs...

Presh12345 · 23/06/2018 03:32

Tested this morning and BFN! So where is AF??

BooseysMom · 23/06/2018 06:30

Wow Presh you're an early bird on here!! Good luck and a sprinkling of baby dust for you!
Me..well i'm not helping myself by looking thru the JoJo Maman Bebe sale at all the maternity clothes i'll never get to wear. And the fact their ages for kids go up to 5-6 means i'm at the end. Its all v depressing sorry. When i was preg with DS i'd never heard of JoJo and didn't even have a smart phone so couldn't order stuff which is prob just as well! So i only ever remember wearing an over sized pair of maternity trousers and 2 tops i used to alternate for work. The rest of the time i was either in a nightie or mat jeans and a top. Sorry for being boring! But i never discovered any lovely mat clothes and JoJo has really nice stuff. I'm currently waiting for AF and can feel her looming hence the anxiety 😥
Hope everyone has a good weekend. . enjoy the sun 😎 xx

Presh12345 · 23/06/2018 07:12

Lol @Booseysmum I'm not in UK. So I'm 3 hours ahead of you.

littlemimosa · 23/06/2018 07:26

Sorry it was bfn Presh.

All I’ve got to report is a night of hot flashes. It’s unbelievable how this has just suddenly started. I’m at a loss.

Weasel - hot flashes are loss of oestrogen so gaining a few pounds is my vain attempt to store some up. Probably nothing I can do in reality tho:-( I had quite big babies too, my youngest was 8lb which for me was huge.

Am I the only one getting these symptoms??

Cleozeta · 23/06/2018 08:59

Mimosa I do wonder if tests might help you, to either know where you are at, or more likely put your mind at rest. I know its stressful but i really believe its a one off blip - not the end, and tests would show that

Alibaba2 · 23/06/2018 09:00

So weird Mimosa. I have been sweaty in bed this week. Could it be the hot weather? I will keep an eye on it once AF arrives/oestrogen kicks in. My oestrogen levels were high which is also not a good thing and a sign of aging :-(

Alibaba2 · 23/06/2018 09:01

It could be worth some acu Mimosa.

Have you started taking anything new which could explain it? Vitex?

Presh12345 · 23/06/2018 12:29

Can anyone see this light tinge? Is it me grasping at straws? Is it even in the right place? Am i losing it??

Over 40 ttc - summer baby dust for me!
littlemimosa · 23/06/2018 13:10

Presh I can’t see anything at all hun. Sorry.

Ali/Cleo - thanks and sorry to moan. I just can’t get over suddenly having night hot flushes. I am overall warmer at the mo with this weather but these are definite ‘surges’ of heat which come and go. I think I will go back to my gp yes.

CritterTamer · 23/06/2018 13:54

@Presh I’m afraid I can’t see anything either on that photo 😔

Feeling less hopeful here today - the strange cramping sensations have disappeared entirely now and don’t feel anything at all anymore (other than sore boobs but I’ve had those since my HCG trigger shot). I guess If it was implantation then it most likely failed as I would think that it would have gone on longer than 1 day or I would at least feel something afterwards.

Feeling a little down but trying to remain positive - my OTD isn’t until July third and that seems a long way off - will be interesting to see if my short LP kicks in despite the progesterone pessaries - AF would be due Tuesday so i guess if I make it past that I might feel kore hopeful again 😊

Hope everyone else is doing ok today and enjoying the sunshine.
@Littlemimosa I hope the doc is helpful to you and you get a sympathetic one xxx

Alibaba2 · 23/06/2018 14:33

Critter - it’s too early to tell. Some people are pg for weeks and have no idea. Your xfer was last Weds right? I think implantation time can vary as do the cramps.

Mimosa - could it be the Maca/Vitex interrupting your hormones?
