🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

A thread for all those who have suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately know as the penguin huddle.

We'll start with a roll call as there have been so many new members lately and so many success stories that I think we've all lost track.

@HidCat I love the idea of making baby things - really want to make a quilt but have never done one before 😕

Hope everyone else is doing well!

Lilimum4 · 10/06/2018 22:45

Hello ladies
This chat moves so quick has taken me ages to catch up.

Well today did not go well, mothering Sunday was the day I found out my little bean had passed and then I had confirmation scan was the following Sunday and then the actual miscarriage happened the following sunday. So as you might have noticed Sunday is a crap day for me and I had a major wobble and spent 2 hours sobbing like a crazy person.

But tomorrow is a new day and I will pull my socks up and paint on the fake smile and do the working thing.

HidCat · 11/06/2018 06:18

@Murderino I would try with a quilted cushion cover and build from there. I haven't braved quilting myself as it's a long project lol. Made some cushion covers and bags mostly, and repaired / altered some clothes.

@Lilimum4 I hope you're ok. Always best to let it out whenever you need to. Hopefully in time something positive will take the edge of the Sunday association for you. Had a wobble myself last night as had to take DS to the out of hours doc at our local hospital, last time I went there was when I miscarried so that triggered me and I'm now 5 months on from that day.

Looks like my period has finally stopped. Only 10days altogether with the spotting 😑

I'm either an imbecile or my CB OPK kit is faulty. Second morning in a row that the reader just shows the test ready sign after I've inserted the test stick and nothing else- and there's no way to reset the thing. So annoying as I was expecting the static smile - I managed to test last night and got the flashing face but all signs seem to point to ovulation being close... Has anyone else had issues with theirs?
Might have to get on the ICs...

Had another massive temp dip this morning so not sure what's going on haha
All of this monitoring adds a whole new dimension of stress haha!
As I've mentioned before I need to pinpoint ovulation as I need to start taking my medication from then until dpo10- so not sure where I am now. I am CD14today and usually have a 27day cycle (but varies 25-30)

Murderino · 11/06/2018 06:56

@Lilimum4 😞 it sucks and it's compounded by the stress of ttc. I hope you're feeling better now - it's a new day/week. Who knows what it will bring!

For me the baby bombs are harder, of the two girls from Work who fell pregnant the same time as me, one has a beautiful baby girl and the other is two days over due. I can't help but think 'what if?'

@HidCat might work up to the quilt then, I'm determined to make some Roman blinds though

Oh I am the imbecile...just read you're supposed to insert it in the reader prior to peeing on it...🙄 duh
Well I'll have to test again later

Sorry to those of you struggling today
Sending 🐧hugs
Hope we have a week of good news in here!

Pancakes7 · 11/06/2018 07:53

Just taken another opk and it had a darker line. But with all the cm I do think I ovulated yesterday. Oh well we'll just jks!

Pancakes7 · 11/06/2018 07:56

Hmm quite a bit of cm today too all very stretchy. I guess this is my fw. So this is my 4th day of cm.

Murderino · 11/06/2018 07:57

Can I ask if anyone has experienced implantation bleeding?

I had brown cm this morning (and v. Faintly yesterday) a bit crampy last night. Usually spot like this about 5 days before period but af not due for another 9 days.

I'm cd.23 and I think 6 dpo.

Feel very much like I'm wishful thinking but it's definitely unusual for me.

weasledee · 11/06/2018 08:05

AF arrived this morning, right on time 🙄
So back to day 1 we go......

Anyday88 · 11/06/2018 08:14

Right there with you @weasledee well I am now cd2 but hey ho! Af arrived a couple of days early for me!

Boboelephant · 11/06/2018 08:18

@Pampl3m0usse i know what you mean. It does seem an unfair extra to linger on! I don't think it means there is any damage, I just think it is our bodies recovering. I hope it calms down soon. This month I have a lot less pain. I am hoping it is because I'm going to get my bfp but it also could be because its been 6 months since MC and my body has finally healed. Who knows!?
@Lilimum4 and @HidCat Sorry you had tough days. Hope today is better!! @HidCat hope DS is ok.
@zarala haha. Glad you sorted it out! Do you want to post your chart?
@Pancakes7 JKS! Cm = fertile!!
@Murderino I've never had it but fingers crossed for you!
@weasledee sorry she got you but at least she didn't make you wait. Fx for next month!!

7dpo here....I can feel my hopes rising and can't stop them even though I know I always set myself up for a fall. 🤦‍♀️

BabynameEdie · 11/06/2018 09:00

Just checking in with the 🐧 huddle 🐧 and sending baby dust to you all, a speedy tww to those of you in it, a productive and energetic FW to those of you needing to keep up the jks marathon, and huge hugs to those who have been caught by af ❤️🤞🐧🏃🏻‍♀️🤸‍♀️❤️

Cakelaur · 11/06/2018 09:09

@Boboelephant what's your chart looking like?

Pampl3m0usse How are you today? Sorry that you're having these cramps. xxx
Interesting to know your OH was the same even though he's got kids already. I guess it's just very different for a lot of men then it is for us ladies.

Hugs Lilimum4. I did my original test(s) on Sunday 18th Feb for my BFP and I told my family I was pregnant on Mothering Sunday and found out 3 days later that I'd had MMC, so Sundays feel a bit weird for me too. Hope you're feeling a bit better today. Ride the waves. xxx

Hidcat Sorry to hear you were triggered yesterday too. (And hope DS is ok?) But glad your period is finally over. Good luck for this cycle. xxx

Hugs and hand-holds to those who need them today. Best of luck to the TTWers and the FWers. I'm almost in the FW again now, so the just gearing up for the roller-coaster!

weasledee · 11/06/2018 09:31

Thanks all, bobo chart looking good!
When is testing day?

Boboelephant · 11/06/2018 09:35

Thanks @weasledee! I have no idea anymore. This chart looks pretty different to my others though so hope it's a good sign.🤞🤞 testing on POAS Friday!!

Cakelaur · 11/06/2018 10:14

@Boboelephant I'm SO EXCITED!! Progesterone is defo working. That's a great thing either way! 🤞🏻

MrsGS76 · 11/06/2018 10:24

So I've been off for a few days as been busy JKS, officially static smiley face on Saturday on digital OPK, so had DTD many times over the last week! Officially I guess that means I am now in my TWW , I'm counting today at 1dpo, I am going to be a nervous wreck over the next two weeks and will analyse anything that's going on in my body! I have known I've been pregnant before my AF due, mainly due to sore boobs and large areola!
Anyone else in their TWW? Or 1DPO? And what are the best pregnancy tests to use prior to AF due, although I am going to try wait the two weeks.......
So sorry to hear those who are having a hard time, sending you all virtual hugs... xxx

Murderino · 11/06/2018 10:41

Hey @MrsGS76 I'm a TWW-er currently. Constantly texting my best mate asking what's normal and if she had it 🤦🏼‍♀️

Currently cramping and 7/8 dpo

Laney79 · 11/06/2018 11:25

Is it normal to get very positive opks more than 12 hours apart? My one yesterday at 1700 was positive (ic line as dark as the control) and then this morning at 0700 my CB digital gave me a smiley face and another IC was even darker than control...

I was assuming Ovulation today-but maybe tomorrow? Should I test this arvo? Hoping to jump on my fella after another hard day at the pool later...we had a play yesterday but (tmi) didn't quite finish off if you know what I mean!

And I tell you what-first cycle after MC has seen my libido go through the roof! Guess it's combo of hormones and desire to be preggers again but my-I've not been this randy for donkeys!!! BlushBlush

TedLife · 11/06/2018 11:51

Wow so much chat! I was in the other thread and though "ok great, not loads to catch up on"... then i spotted the new thread!

Really loving the roll call, feels like I know much more about everyone now.

CD11 - entering fertile week and excited and nervous about the possibilities.

One thing that's been bugging my paranoid mind recently is how common do you think it is to have 1 MC and then have a healthy pregnancy? I feel like everyone I speak to has had at least 2 MC before healthy baby born and I feel like i'm set up to fail again Sad

Boboelephant · 11/06/2018 12:24

@BabynameEdie hello!! How are you going?
@Cakelaur thanks!! I hope progesterone does the trick! Feeling so nervous!
@MrsGS76 welcome to the tww! I'm 7dpo. Best test if using early is a FRER.
@Murderino we're similar, I'm 7dpo and having some cramps today too. What does bf say??
@Laney79 yep siunds normal. You must just have a longer surge. It can take 48 hours to ov after positive. I reckon you'll prob ovulate today so get on it!! I'd test before bed tonight and see if it's any lighter. If not, jks again tomorrow! Glad you are enjoying it, you deserve it! 😀
@TedLife i think it's very common to have 1 mc and then successful bub. I know plenty of people who have. Try not to worry!!
