🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧

A thread for all those who have suffered the loss of a much wanted baby. Affectionately know as the penguin huddle.

We'll start with a roll call as there have been so many new members lately and so many success stories that I think we've all lost track.

@Anyday88 I use the digital advanced CB I use it with FMU each day and only use once a day. I've only been using them for two cycles but only needed 4 for each cycle so far, I don't see any harm in using two a day but I've luckily managed to catch my peak both time. 10 will be enough Smile

L1zz13 · 13/06/2018 12:48

I miss you ladies. My fingers are so crossed @Boboelephant xx

I've moved onto groups for depression but boy are they depressing!

Anyday88 · 13/06/2018 13:09

Thanks for all the ppl help @sweetpea0318, @Tedlife, @Boboelephant & @DaisyMay25
I think I will go for the clear blue advanced one, I only did it once a day previously and I don’t want to become too obsessive about it as a don’t need any help to be a crazy person 😂

DaisyMay25 · 13/06/2018 13:12

@Anyday88 they're on offer on groupon I think but still fairly expensive, cheaper off amazon than boots but I found these on eBay?

MrsGS76 · 13/06/2018 13:34

@TedLife I tested one morning blank face, then tested again at night and got the flashy smiley face. So I'd say you can test again tonight? X

Tefiti2 · 13/06/2018 14:30

Hands up if you’ve ever tested at 9dpo (not even with FMU) and immediately regretted it?🙈
There ain’t no fool like a fool TTC 😂

littleemma1 · 13/06/2018 14:38

I just can’t “dive away” for very long. Been lurking since Saturday but only just managed to keep up!!

@PassTheAfterEights I’m so sorry for your loss 😘💐

I’m now doing what I REALLY didn’t want to do and symptom spotting at potentially 5/6dpo 🙄 and im getting angry at myself.
I’m frantically wracking my brains trying to think of any little signs I had last time and didn’t pick up on, but then at the same time I’m desperately trying hard not to get my hopes up as I know the chances are slim. We DTD Thursday + Friday and I potentially (it’s always a possibility it didn’t happen with my PCOS) ov’d on either day so it could happen but I just keep thinking “seriously, what would be the chances?!”
So hard trying to stay grounded.
I’m trying to hold off until 24th minimum before I test but I’m out on Friday 22nd and it’ll be a boozey one so kinda wanna test then but I dunno 🤷‍♀️

For those of you who hate a certain day, I’m with ya. My day is Wednesday as it’s the day I miscarried but also the day I would start a new week so I find it hard. So I’m trying hard not to have a bad day today but severely lacking in concentration at work which is bad as I am manicly busy.

Cakelaur · 13/06/2018 14:51

@Anyday88 I used to use cheap amazon opks to pee on afternoon and evening and then CB ones in the morning. That way I satisfied my poas addiction! But didn't waste loads of money. And then the same for hpt. Bought loads of ic. But didn't crack out an frer until I really needed to!!

Jessabean · 13/06/2018 14:54

@Tefiti2 🙌😞 definitely been there!

TedLife · 13/06/2018 14:56

@MrsGS76 that's encouraging! I might try again tonight then x
@L1zz13 I'm so sorry you're going through this and although those groups can be heavy, I'm hoping you will start to feel comfort from them soon. The huddle is always here if you need us too. One day at a time xx

Wescat · 13/06/2018 16:37

Wow, this thread moves fast. Thanks everyone for their kind words. I didn't want to tell anyone at work as my boss doesn't seem to understand about confidentiality. I actually found it better going in to work to be honest. I taught foetal development today, and it was ok, which is a relief.
I just want the bleeding to be over, and then my period so we can try again in earnest. Best of luck everyone.

Pampl3m0usse · 13/06/2018 17:05

I just wrote a whole message and it disappeared. Typical. So say at gp for the second time in two days as gynae my gp spoke to reckons I probably have an infection of my womb lining as a result of miscarriage 5 weeks ago. Awaiting a gory internal as period has also started. And six month anniversary of mums suicide tomorrow. Barely holding it together in the waiting room.

ek78 · 13/06/2018 17:14

Sending an emergency handhold @pampl3m0usse. I am so sorry you are having to go through this, especially with your mums anniversary looming. Is the internal happening at the GPs?

KnitKitty · 13/06/2018 17:25

Thanks Hidcat that's really useful to know. Maybe I just have levels of HCG that FRER pick up.

I'm just assuming I'm not pregnant and going to assume I will still ovulate this month, though who knows?

Not really feeling very in to the trying this month. My motivation seems to have gone on holiday, but that's fine, a chilled out month of not obsessing might be what I need to let my body get back to normal.

Those in the TTW, I'm thinking of you. Hope you're managing to distract yourselves well.

Boboelephant I'm impatient to find out if you're caught this month, so I can't imagine how you're feeling! Fingers and toes crossed. xxx

Hugs for those who need them! xxx

Wescat · 13/06/2018 17:38

@pampl3m0ousse - what a crappy time. Thinking of you xx

Pampl3m0usse · 13/06/2018 18:01

Internal at gp yes who have now sent me to a&e to see the gynae:(

DaisyMay25 · 13/06/2018 18:26

@Pampl3m0usse I'm so sorry your going through this. Hopefully the scan has some answers so you can get the right treatment Thanks

Boboelephant · 13/06/2018 18:30

@RedRobin7 thankyou. I know, it is painfully slow! I never used to realise how much progesterone effects your body with nausea, fatigue etc. It's so unfair because pregnant or not yiu can still get heaps of symptoms!
@L1zz13 thankyou!! Even though it's depressing I hope it helps and gives you some comfort xx
@Tefiti2 haha. Ah it's hard!! I'm 9dpo too but the opposite. Way too scared to test!!
@Pampl3m0usse oh I'm so sorry hun. For everything. What a rough ride you are having. 🐧🐧🐧 into the middle of the huddle you go.
@KnitKitty perhaps a month off is what you need. Just chill out and take the stress out of it for a bit. And thankyou. I'm so damn scared. I think I've really convinced myself this is it. Ahh stupid hopeful brain.

ek78 · 13/06/2018 19:08

@pampl3m0usse oh no! So sorry to hear. I hope you aren’t kept waiting too long. Let us know how you get on.

sweetpea0318 · 13/06/2018 19:23

I caved and tested! Bfn so that's me out for the month. It was always a long shot this cycle so I'm not that surprised. 🤞for everyone still waiting to test and hugs to those having a tough time x

Murderino · 13/06/2018 19:51

🐧🐧🐧@Pampl3m0usse 🐧🐧🐧 sending hugs, what stressful and sad thing to go through - thinking of you x

@sweetpea0318 when is af due - are you sure you're out?

Tww is your torturous this month @Boboelephant I've convinced myself I'm preggo won't be able to bear the egg on my face when I'm wrong again 🙃

sweetpea0318 · 13/06/2018 20:06

@murderino either tomorrow or Saturday according to my apps so not 100% sure. But I’m pretty sure I’m out from past experience testing at 12dpo.

Cakelaur · 13/06/2018 20:16

@Boboelephant please can we have a pic of your chart tomorrow.. just to soften the wait for the test. Xx

Lilimum4 · 13/06/2018 20:34

14dpo tested and bfn Sad OK on to next month and I'm gonna try everything. Got my progesterone cream, pre seed, opks doing yoga and meditation and I'll do pineapple when its time.

Good luck to you @boboelephant on Friday I'm really hoping its your month xx

Good luck and baby dust to all the tww's

Boboelephant · 13/06/2018 21:27

@pampl3m0usse how did you get on?
@sweetpea0318 oh no so sorry for bfn! 🙁
@Murderino I know. I'm the same. Although I think my optimism may be gone forever if this month doesn't work!
@Cakelaur haha. Bless you and your sticking around with fingers crossed for me. I promise I will post a chart update tomorrow. Hope it's not a depressing downward turn!! xx
@Lilimum4 so sorry it wasn't your month. Hope next month is the one!! Thanks so much x
