Sorry ladies just felt like a rant......
Had a fricking shit year so far that doesn’t seem to be getting better at the moment. I have good days and bad days but feeling fed up today. I think watching the wedding making me feel more down as everyone looks happy and beautiful and I’m sat here looking like waynettea slob 😂 x

Sorry to hear you’re both feeling down. Good to see you back physicskate I’ve offically finished ttc now. I can’t do it to myself anymore. I didn’t watch the royal wedding but of course, she will have at least two kids within the next few years. I’ve been with my OH for nearly 6 years and still waiting for him to put a ring on it and Harry and Meghan met and got engaged and married all within about a year! Sigh. Good luck to both of you for the (hopefully very near) future

I'm not quite 'back' - just lurking mostly. I do hang out in infertility though, but my knowledge doesn't quite hit the level of many of the ladies on there... I'm just an erudite novice, whereas I'm a knowledgable sage on this board compared to some.

Bubblegum you're only young... I got dh to propose by making it quite clear he needed to do so. I'm not saying ultimatum, but a timeline of when you expect things to happen. A wedding would be a fantastic distraction from not ttc

I could do with a break from it all... but Ivf starts With next af. We are not trying this cycle, but not preventing.

@Bubblegum89 bless your heart sorry to hear things aren’t good for you. I think 2018 is cursed, I know so many people who have had a rough time this year.
I did enjoy watching the wedding but in the back of my mind I was thinking the next imminent announcement will be a baby and although I’ll be so happy for them a part of me will be thinking when’s my turn!!! X

The name of ur thread sums up how im feeling, been ttc on n off for 2and a half years been doin everything i can think of since jan and not even so much as a sniff of a positive! Its gd to know im not the only one feeling like this

TTC is so hard, I had this romantic vision in my head when we started out. Gosh how I have been bought down to earth with a massive bump!!!!!! X

Thanks i was the exact same fot i ll b pregnant in the 1st month so niave lol and i can tell everyone at xmas. I look back on it now and think why was i soo delusional haha family member is onto her 2nd child and i cant even have 1! Stay strong try and keep ur chin up i know its easier said than done i feel like slapping ppl when they say dnt stress itl happen so i wnt say that

@thisisouryrfx18- yes I know people have good intentions when they say it will happen but in my “ideal world” I wanted my first baby at 28. Obviously that won’t happen now so just have to sit it out. Sorry what’s cd? (I’m not very smart when it comes to abbreviations 😘) x

Cycle day i know i still see sum of the lingo on here and think what the..? Haha thats soo funny i always thought the same 26-28 would be an ideal age dunno why lol

@physicskate. I think my first clomid cycle is a write off! You've been only clomid haven't you? My day 21 came back at 1.1 Am I definitely out this cycle or could I still ovulate? I'm cd23 now. I could kick myself for being so positive at the start of this cycle!!

I think goin by my chart im out aswell tested this morning bfn..again!

@lookingathestars89 - yeah I had 6 cycles of clomid. 50mg. It might be they try you on a higher dosage? Get in touch with them and see what the next cycle holds - could they do an ovulation tracking cycle with scans and bloods?

I'm cd21 now and haven't ovulated this cycle (yet?) either. IVF kicks off with next cycle but I'm trying to get in for some more bloods for thyroid (which I now think is why I can't get pregnant and IVF doesn't fix it).

@thisisouryrfx18 - you're never out til af shows..? Testing early is the pits... the pits of despair...

@kate8989 - I wanted my first before 30, but that was out the window when dh wouldn't marry until the summer I was 30 (oh the politics and compromise of marriage!). And then it was super important to him to have a house... so we couldn't ttc until my 32nd bday. AND now I'm 34. And feel OLD. And a bit duped... I'd have started before we got married.... hindsight and all that!

How're you doing @Kate8989 I hope the pain has eased a little since we last spoke? I'm angry at the world too, my scans all came back fine so went to the gynaecologist who had a feel around inside (sorry tmi) which hurt and she said there is swelling so she's sending my for some more scans, external and internal this time. At least things are moving though I guess

@thisisouryrfx18- yes I shouldn’t have been so naive to think if I want a baby at a certsin age I’ll get one nuh-uh!!!
Oh my cycle days are long behind me for now lol, I’m currently going through a temporary menopause!!!!
@DaisyMay25- I’m not too bad... trying to keep it together. I’ve been through so much in such a short space of time it’s overwhelming.

@thisisouryrfx18- don’t be silly! You weren’t to know... I’m hoping it does me some good ultimately. But it is quite overwhelming saying I’m 28 and currently menopausal 😳. It’s comforting speaking to the ladies on here as it makes me realise a lot of people are on journies TTC. It’s not as easy as some make it seem xx
