When are you TTC: I think we should start in June when DS is 2 but we are so broody it might be sooner
Why are you waiting: We are doing some house renovations at the moment & sorting out some stuff financially. Everything seems a bit up in the air & I can only stress about a couple of things at a time. I'm looking forward to life settling down only to have a newborn mess it all up again
What are you doing to keep busy?: I'm project managing house renovations & enjoying one-on-one time with DS before he (hopefully) becomes a big brother. DH & I are having a huge joint birthday party in September for my 30th & his 40th so I'm enjoying planning that!

@dotty I know what you mean. Don’t get me wrong, when we do actually start trying I’ll be over the moon but every time I go to the toilet I get really disappointed that AF hasn’t arrived! (Sorry tmi). Good luck! I hope all turns out well for you.

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I feel exactly like that! I am so very much looking forward to the trying and excitement of testing, but I feel apprehensive now as I know it's not the right time. It would obviously be fine if I was, don't get me wrong, but I feel a bit anxious about it. Are you still waiting for yours?

Oh gosh looks like we're all sitting here anxiously awaiting the arrival of AF! I'm feeling what I'm hoping are pre period period pains but time will tell! Now is really NOT the right time, soooo stressed with house viewings and getting paperwork together for a mortgage I'm actually dreaming about houses now! Really hoping things have calmed down in August so we can start trying without the stress...

We have found one we like but are now beginning the long and painful process of trying to get a mortgage! The broody-ness is taking over though!!!

I didn't realise there were others awaiting AF! I've been tracking my periods ready for September and mine was due Yesterday- no cramps or signs yet apart from sore breasts but my periods are irregular without hormone contraception- so I'm hoping it's just that!

Financially now is not great timing and I want DD to be at least a year old before TTC. She was an EMCS and I need to wait for my scar to heal for the VBAC I want to have

I'm currently waiting to ttc, no idea how long I'll be waiting. I've got to wait until the hospital give me a date to the operation to remove the cyst in my Douglas pouch. Feeling a little frustrated, waiting and depressed.

Got no one in real life to talk to except DP, and now a pregnant women at work. So it's all scans, and names. And it's terrible because I can't escape it. Work was my distraction.

There’s no sign of mine whatsoever! Usually I get cramping about two days before but there’s literally nothing. I’m now nearly ten days late. 2 BFN’s later I’m still no closer to knowing what’s going on!! Glad we’re all sort of in it together!
I just hope I’m not pregnant as I’m really looking forward to the excitement of testing and revealing to OH so I don’t want to spoil it by having to worry about cancelling plans.

@Another, it’s good that you’ve found one you like! Good luck with the mortgage.

Good luck to the people waiting for AF! We've had a couple of scares during our waiting time but my cycles aren't super regular.

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever I'm on day 35 now 🙃 I'll post a pic (if it works) of what my cycle has been like. Had another one in December but didn't log it as I wasn't sure at the time but this is how crazy mine are...

@assumeitwas @cupcakesandglitter @anothersilly can I join the others also waiting for AF! Currently on day 43....No sign but also not tested!! We had a minor condom mishap this month but I'm sure it's more due to my irregular cycles that I'm being investigated for. Not testing as got a scan booked for Tuesday anyway as part of my investigations!

@cupcakesandglitter I went through a phase like that where I had one short cycle and then one long cycle. I wasn't ovulating and it was breakthrough bleeding. Not sure why it did the short/long thing though! Hope yours even out soon!

@NoseringGirl I've not been testing ovulation.... I bet it's the same for me :( I just want my body to start settling again because I hate waiting, I want to know that when we start TTC again my body is ready along with everything else

Okay so tmi but I'm on the loo and it looks like AF will be here tomorrow... que endless moaning tomorrow about the pain 😂🙃

Yay for @cupcakesandglitter! I'm still waiting so will purchase a test this morning. Where is best to get one? Im assuming they don't sell them in aldi and I've heard negative things on here about Sainsbury's tests?

@dottydally I've bought mine from Poundland 😂 Asda do a good one too for about £3ish I think... Sainsbury's are awful! My friend got a BFP and the shock of her life with one... it was false.

@cupcakes, congrats on getting AF! (won't be saying that in a few months time!). Day 30 here for me and nothing, nada, no signs, no nothing. Won't class myself as 'late' though until CD32, my cycles are anywhere between 25 and 31 days and I've only had one cycle in my entire life that lasted more than 31 days years and years ago. Deffo don't think I'm pg as we have been really careful this month and had no accidents lol. I know it sounds odd but just like you @assume, I hope I'm not as I really want to experience the excitement of actually trying, the TWW etc as I never had that with DS.

It's a conspiracy ladies and our bodies are all in it together. They know we want our next few cycles to be regular so we can TTC with ease but that would be too easy wouldn't it

Does anyone know/have experience with differences in their cycles due to the copper coil removal? Just realised I had mine removed this cycle and although it has no hormones so technically 'can't' mess your cycle up, it was a foreign body in my body (!) and I'm wondering if my womb is just adjusting and this is having an effect on my cycle? Of course I can't tell if it's that, or the super amount of stress I've been under this month coupled with my pregnacare supplements messing with my cycles as other woman have reported, or all of them!

@rollerskaterdata it would be too easy 😩 I've bought a new car and it's a nice family one... as soon as me and DH say in it i was sold 😂 can't wait to have my hypothetical babies in the back!

what preg supplements are you taking? I've heard seven seas (I think?) can actually change some cycles!

What car have you got @cupcakesandglitter? We're looking for a new one but will need to have 3 isofix things!

I am sorry, but why are you all waiting? I have just lost number 3, if you are at the point where you could feasibly have a baby / please don't wait!
