Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Someone please talk me down and tell me you cant just 'feel' pregnant... I've decided I'm pregnant for some reason and putting off testing in case I'm wrong -surely you can't just 'know' I've not really got any symptoms -its just a feeling and I know it's probably all just in my head 🙈

angelazul · 07/02/2018 18:05

@rubberduckies agnus castus helped my cycles, took a few months though. Fx they impove for you too.

@lg I've had that feeling many times but obvs wasn't upduffed. At the same time I know of others who had the feeling, & it was spot on. Whens af due?

Pretty sure I iced last week, wasn't certain that I'd iced since the ivf, so it's progress I suppose. Had a nasty uti though so no shagging Angry

LG93 · 07/02/2018 19:30

@angel today is cd28 so could be any day now, but cycles also go up to 43 days if AF feels like it! Not really sure if I should test now or wait ...

colourful86 · 07/02/2018 22:19

@LG93 I think it's a thing! Only because I had it the other way round.
I had a mc at 6w on in the morning I woke up and I just didn't feel pg anymore, I told my oh, and then later in the eve the bleeding started, no cramping or symptoms of loss, it was the weirdest thing ever!
Gut instinct is a powerful thing

LG93 · 08/02/2018 08:31

Sorry to hear about your MC colourful but interesting that feelings can be right... I think I'm going to leave it and test on saturday or Sunday if still no AF

justtheonethen · 08/02/2018 08:37

Kwick!!!!!!! StarStarStar* congratulations* Smile
Come and say hi on the grads when you're ready, it's a bit quiet at the moment but you can perk it up!

Hello to everyone else. Keep shagging!

kwick · 08/02/2018 20:14

Thanks @justtheonethen !!! I will do once I get past the viability scan (not until end of Feb).
😘

justtheonethen · 08/02/2018 20:32

Will keep everything crossed for you! I'm 36 weeks now Shock

FuzzyOwl · 09/02/2018 17:59

How exciting @kwick and I have everything crossed for you.

angelazul · 10/02/2018 12:44

@just 36 weeks, how the blooming hell did that happen?

@lg did you test, or have you decided to wait?

justtheonethen · 10/02/2018 13:33

Feels like 366 weeks to be honest angel Grin.** How is it going with you?

angelazul · 10/02/2018 14:11

Not much happening with us atm @just. Had amh checked again at our review appt, due another appt in March to get results of that. So it's just gool ole jsing in the meantime Grin

LG93 · 10/02/2018 14:54

I tested the other evening and was negative but still no AF. Think I'll test again tomorrow with fmu - I guess it's possible if I ovulated late it would have been too early to get a test with anything other than fmu...

justtheonethen · 10/02/2018 19:57

Got everything crossed for you angel. You never know, bit of cheeky js'ing might pay off!

Good luck LG!

kwick · 12/02/2018 08:16

@justtheonethen 36 weeks???? How did that happen!!!! Not long now!!! How exciting!

justtheonethen · 12/02/2018 08:28

I know right kwick! Insane! When is your scan lovely?

stegosauruslady · 12/02/2018 12:31

Hello! May I climb in?

I'm 33, just had my coil taken out and aiming for baby number 4 this year!

kwick · 13/02/2018 07:59

@justtheonethen not for a couple more weeks - the FC wanted me to have it tomorrow but that is only 7 weeks. I just cannot go through that again - with both my other BFPs the early scan was fine and then MC confirmed at the one at 9 weeks. So I am just going direct to that one.
I am beginning to freak out a little as I am not sure if I can deal with a 3rd MC. But I am just going to have to man up as I am not ready to say goodbye to my dream of being a mother just yet.

justtheonethen · 13/02/2018 08:21

Kwick today you are pregnant and each pregnancy is different. Got everything crossed that this is a sticky bean. I can't imagine how hard it is to stay positive but please try Flowers

Stegosaurus this lot will look after you! Good luck!

Experiment627 · 14/02/2018 18:04

JSers tis I!!!! Your honorary member!!! I have changed my username as they say a change is as good as a rest!!!

angelazul · 19/02/2018 17:35

Hey vidroids, how are we all?

I've had a chilled day off work & it's quite spring like here today, so I'm in a rather positive mood (despite AF making an appearance) Not sure how long the positivity will last, so I guess I may enjoy it while it's here Smile Has anyone any experience with DHEA? Been reading through ISWTE again, & wondering if it's worth a try.

LG93 · 19/02/2018 19:29

Hi angel! Glad you're feeling positive... Still wet and miserable here so not so positive lol! No experience of DHEA I'm afraid. Day 41 here and still no sign of AF. Did 2 tests on days 29 and 32 and both were negative. Thinking I'll test again around day 50 if she's still not here. Record cycle so far was 44 days so will see what happens this week. I'd rather just get her out the way and move on now tbh!

coribeth · 20/02/2018 22:06

So unsurprisingly af has arrived but not to upset cos at least she will have done one before my spa trip on the weekend!! Grin

LG93 · 21/02/2018 23:00

Sorry to hear AF got you coribeth but enjoy your spa day!!

Day 42 and still no sign here...

coribeth · 22/02/2018 22:49

Gx for you @LG93
