I keep wondering I'm jinxing it.

Then I try to eat something and it tastes weird. Also, I'm constantly smelling wet plaster. (Unless we have a serious leak!)

Ekphrasis · 05/09/2017 11:20

I was in the pits of despair on Sunday. As frers weren't getting darker. It really worth waiting a couple of days and NOT peeing in things!

BertieBotts · 05/09/2017 11:58

Yay yay ekphrasis!! Sending you lots of stick to stick that baby in place Grin

Congratulations @Ekphrasis you give us all hope ♥️

Still bloody fed up here. The second week of TWW is so awful. If it's not going to happen I just want AF to hurry up so I can move on. I feel like I'm literally wasting my life waiting to know. Why would it work this cycle when it hasn't work previous cycles? So just waiting for disappointment which is crushing me. Testing Friday.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 05/09/2017 13:53

Congratulations ekphrasis! Completely understand why you're worried, but I hope this is the one for you.

I'm feeling good today, too - they had a cancellation at the Coventry NK cells clinic so I got to go yesterday rather than waiting until next cycle, and that means we can start trying again next cycle. Am a bit terrified about TTC again (have been on hold for these tests since third miscarriage, which was early June) but also pleased that the waiting is coming to an end - felt endless. However, did tell myself I'd get fit and stop eating rubbish in that time, which I have very much not achieved...

halloumisandwich · 05/09/2017 14:15

Congratulations ekphrasis and great news Lisa, I can’t imagine how hard all the waiting around has been but at least you know you’re doing everything you can to make sure the next pregnancy is a success!

I had a positive OPK on Sunday and was really pleased as we’d DTD every day for the past 5 days. Tested again that evening and it looked like the surge had gone. And then some EWCM made me decide to test again today and it’s positive again? Really annoyed as I’ve been running some groups for work yesterday and today which have meant leaving the house at 7:30 and not getting home until 11, so no time to even speak to DH let alone DTD! Hopefully Sunday night will still have me covered, or it’ll last until tomorrow night…

LisaSimpsonsbff · 05/09/2017 14:31

Thanks, halloumi. They also gave me the progesterone that I'll take (every cycle - you take it from 7dpo to 14dpo and then test and either stop taking it if negative or carry on if positive). I, erm, didn't realise before that it doesn't go in your mouth...

How frustrating about the multiple positive OPKs. I'm sure you should be covered, though. It's annoying to have it change after such efforts, though!

coastalchick · 05/09/2017 14:35

These just arrived. We will not be beaten!!!

I know that the cheap tests also work and I have those too - the brand preg tests are for if the cheapiea give me a positive (so more as confirmation) and the digital OPK's worked for us last time hence those

What a wonderful array of beauts 😁

Flatwhite31 · 05/09/2017 16:39

Congrats @Ekphrasis, really happy for you, and keeping everything crossed that this is your sticky bean!

@coastalchick I have ordered some digital opks as they helped us conceive in June. Glad to see you are prepared.

Work was HARD today. Physically, I'm very tired, and I kept crying when I got there, so went into our meeting late. Everyone was so lovely though. I've started to bleed again today on day 11 post ERPC, so no wonder I'm feeling drained. It's light brown blood, but it's still blood, and when I went for a wee at school (TMI alert!) it was splattering the toilet bowl. I just wish it would stop.

ThoughtAboutThisTooMuch · 05/09/2017 16:43

Congratulations @Ekphrasis that's great news.

So sorry for your loss @Fia256 hopefully you'll be able to get the answers you need though.

Sorry you're having such a tough time @TheGrumpySquirrel

So went to the gp today and it actually went really well; being sent for blood & semen (for OH obvs) tests and they'll take it from there. Was totally expecting to get fobbed off because it's only been 3 months since last mc but dr said that since it's been over a year since I started ttc and I'm 35, I can start some tests. It's a relief to feel like something is happening to be honest.

weasledee · 05/09/2017 18:05

Great news exphrasis! Congratulations :)

MissMagpie · 05/09/2017 18:07

I have been reading your posts thinking I could have written so many of them myself. God what crappy times we have had.

Today is two weeks since I passed my 11 week old 'pregnancy material' at hospital and I am still constantly thinking about it. Thankfully the bleeding/ spotting has just about stopped. I will take a pg test next week as instructed to, but I think I am back to normal. My waist has reappeared and my boobs shrunk back.

It's shit but I just want to get going on the next attempt now, so everything needs to be back to normal.

I am waiting to hear from the RM clinic and for test results but hoping to get back ttc before they come through....

Yesterday was supposed to be my dating scan at 13 + 1 - couldn't believe the Royals chose that day for their announcement. Talk about salt in the wound.

KerryLeanne84 · 05/09/2017 18:11

Two weeks since my erpc today too Magpie hugs and yes I feel the same way about the stupid royals 😘

Flatwhite31 · 05/09/2017 18:56

I cried pretty much all day yesterday @MissMagpie and the Royal pregnancy announcement was a kick in the teeth. I just couldn't feel happy for them.

Impatientmummy36 · 05/09/2017 19:17

Fia & phoebe I'm so sorry** for your losses :( xx

Ekphrasis yes I think you can get excited! I know you won't fully allow yourself to relax and get excited but fingers crossed for you xx

I think I may be in same position but not sure yet... I feel pregnant, started today with the funny taste & mild nausea and other telltale signs identical to last time, and we were certainly trying this month.

tomorrow is 11dpo but I'm still 7days before af due so I do know it may be too early to test... will try test in morn. Got my stock of frers and digitals. Think it's going to be daily POS until further notice tor me. I am excited and terrified in equal measure, scared I'm not pregnant, and also scared if I am!

My heart really does go out to those of you who have experienced this multiple times because it's madness inducing even after once x

yellowfrontdoor · 05/09/2017 19:29

What a box @coastalchick
Once upon a time a box from topshop or asos would've got my heart pounding but that box is waaaay more exciting!

Sorry your first day back was a bit shit Flatwhite. It'll get easier I promise. Hope you're relaxing at home now.

Lisa how amazing, it must feel so good to feel proactive about ttc & hopefully getting answers & treatments.

swimchick1980 · 05/09/2017 20:31

Wow, lots of posts. Sorry to those gagging a tough time.

Ekphrasis, wonderful night, keeping everything crossed it's a sticky one.

I'm CD11 but feeling terrible so didn't manage to DTD yesterday. Determined to today come hell or high water! My cycle are pretty short so need to get on with it or will miss our window.

Got a call from IVF clinic today to say our previous tests are too out of date so need to go back and spend a load of money to again see my empty womb and DH needs to spunk in a cup. Anyway, hoping i still have a decent amount of eggs and that DH's sperm count hasn't gone done (was very low last time). This month is our last (or second last depending on when they can get us booked in) shot before embarking on the journey so keeping everything crossed.

Flatwhite31 · 05/09/2017 20:59

Thank you @yellowfrontdoor. My colleagues were so lovely, so that helped. It doesn't help that I'm so tired. Thought the bleeding had stopped yesterday, but it's back again today. Am so drained!

KerryLeanne84 · 05/09/2017 20:59

Good (I guess) news - a pregnancy test at this end is now completely negative 2 weeks after erpc and a faint positive on an ovulation test so might try to have sex tomorrow

yellowfrontdoor · 05/09/2017 21:09

@Flatwhite31 honestly this was me after my last ERPC. It took just over 14 days for bleeding to finish & nearly three weeks for a negative hpt.

First day I went back to work they let me have a half day, I just cried the whole time. And everyone was lovely to me too, it was just too hard going back to reality! Hope tomorrow is better Flowers

yellowfrontdoor · 05/09/2017 21:10

@KerryLeanne84 the irony of wanting nothing more than a bfp... only to start praying for a bfn!

Fingers crossed for a surge on your OPK!

KerryLeanne84 · 05/09/2017 21:18

Thanks yellow- it's absurd isn't it! I will test again tomorrow 💛

beanhunter · 05/09/2017 21:50

Is it wrong that I'm jealous of the negative tests? I'm nearly 4 weeks post erpc and still getting faint positives.

KerryLeanne84 · 05/09/2017 22:02

I'm sorry you haven't had one yet bean 😔 It's not wrong at all to feel that way. ❤️
