He won't get better. It's not something that does. We don't know the extent yet - but hopefully it just won't get worse!!

That sounds ace tee! I've been doing the 30 days of yoga with adriene on YouTube. Not sure I could find time for a second half hour a day now that school has started!! But the yoga has really improved my mood (mostly) and I haven't had any cramps this af, which is unheard of!!!!! I feel stronger too, but I've put on almost half a stone in the last month or 6 weeks... need to get back into the groove with that I think...

Jamon · 05/09/2017 08:44

Kate I'm lucky my cycles are 29 days, I've got one egg yesterday and will fit one more in before pressing the IVF button. I have a deep feeling we will be doing IVF. Still going through the motions still trying as we might as well, but I'm not expecting anything.

Tee I've heard of that fertility massage on another thread - might give it a go next cycle

Thinking of you both nim mimi

Nimisha · 05/09/2017 09:00

Hi all,

news was as expected, except nothing to see on scan at all. Should have been a baby with a heart beat. Hopefully I have just managed to miscarry it all (have been bleeding for days) but I need to have two sets of bloods two days apart to make sure the hormones are going down. If the hormones are going up then it could be an ectopic but they couldn't see one on the scan.

They talked about aspirin and asking my GP to check my thyroid and refer to the recurrent miscarriage clinic. I suspect my progesterone is not great so they might support a pregnancy with progesterone. I'm going to cut back on alcohol (not last night though, had nearly a whole bottle of wine) and get healthy.

I'm having a couple of days off work. I did 30 days of Yoga last year which was great. might get back into it.

Tee4me · 05/09/2017 09:54

I'm so sorry Nim, you never fail to surprise me with your brave attitude. I'm glad you're being referred, otherwise I would have recommended my Specialist. I'm on another thread with ladies who have had amazing success under his plan, most have had >3 MCs.
Although I had my Thyroid tested on NHS last year, they didn't pick up that it was not in the ideal range for pregnancy. They deem

I am so so sorry to read this mimi And nim FlowersFlowers
What a horrible and cruel turn for you both. Thinking of you both xxx

I am now on cycle 7 and due to test next week and feel truly fed up with it all. I was ttc last year for 6 months before I took a break from ttc.

Sending love and baby dust to everyone xxx

Jamon · 05/09/2017 18:49

Thinking of you nim , you've been through so much with all of this.

Sending kind wishes to you also mimi

🌸🌸🌸

physicskate · 05/09/2017 18:52

Oh no. I am so sorry for your loss Nim. Be kind to yourself. No one is going to begrudge you having more drinks than normal.

Mimi I do hope you are alright.

It's shit.

Jamon · 07/09/2017 22:29

Thinking of you girls and sending love out

Footy hope you're having a good holiday and you and DH are healing

I've had really pronounced ovulation pain for the last 48 hours. It's very annoying. Especially as I got my positive OPK and Monday, when we last DTD.

So if I've ovulated late then we haven't given it a very good go!

I'm annoyed but 6-12 months ago I would have been beside myself. Now it's just another month Hmm

Had orchestra tonight though and loved being immersed in music 🎶

Tee4me · 08/09/2017 17:11

Jam this is something I've googled before as I've had these types of pains a few days after ov too... apparently the fluid that is released from the follicle when you ovulate can irritate the area. I think if you got a positive opk, you will have ovulated within 24 hours. If I remember rightly you are pretty clockwork like me, I'd be really surprised if you had that kind of delay?

OP posts:
Jamon · 08/09/2017 18:11

Tee I'm pretty sure now that I ovulated Tuesday. I had a sudden really sharp pain whilst standing on the train platform. I think that was a big egg coming out - perhaps involving a cyst. The pain has been since then. We had sex Monday night so I think we're okay. I mean obviously it will be BFN but at least not a result of poor timing or not trying hard enough! How are you doing?

Tee4me · 08/09/2017 18:44

When I was temping it would generally confirm that ovulation had happened within 24 hours of the peak opk. If you don't suffer with irregular periods I would bet any money that the pain you experienced later in the week was way after the egg dropped. Lets hope it made good friends with DH's swimmers!!
I had my peak opk today (2 days later than usual, but then I was 2 days early last month), so ovulation tomorrow and back on the old roids from Sunday.
Less DTD this cycle, CD9, CD12 & today CD14. DH is out for a day/night stag today, so I literally skipped out of the bedroom when I nailed a morning bonk (my chances later this evening are very sketchy). Have my sister and her fam staying with us tomorrow night, so questionable prospects then too. If we don't manage DTD again I'm still happy with my dates 👍🏻
For me the castor oil ritual was such a lift this month, so I really recommend it... although I hope it won't be necessary for you of corse and AF stays away. Would be so wonderful to fall in your wait for IVF. I really believe you will have a bump by Christmas Jam, keep the faith 😘

Bless you tee I really hope you do too x

physicskate · 09/09/2017 08:55

2nd appointment Monday. Getting nervous. Expecting dh's SA, my FSH, rubella and chlamydia results. Have low expectations, but worried about how I might react to bad news... I have to get to work right after the appointment and can't do my job when I'm upset. Start of the year, can't let behaviour slide for a lesson, if you see what I mean.

Trying to avoid thinking through all the possibilities. Have a list of questions. Hope I remember everything! Not sure how long it will be before I can ask again!

Footy1 · 09/09/2017 19:39

Thinking of you Nim and mimiFlowers

Holiday was fantastic thanks, had a really nice relaxing time. Boys thoroughly enjoyed it too. Dh and I got on really well and spent lots of time dtd! Had bad cramps last few days so think possible I have ovulated. Not really planning anything just seeing what happens all round really. Think I'm about cd16. Only got back yesterday so I've been busy today washing!

What's the castor oil for tee?
*
Jam* orchestra sounds good! I love music too helps me destress.

Kate thinking of you and hope you get good results. Don't worry about what's to come, just take each day as they happen. Xx

Jamon · 11/09/2017 08:41

Good luck today Kate let us know how it goes.

Mimilicious013 · 11/09/2017 10:34

Best of luck @kate.fx for good results.

Thinking of you @nim and sending you massive hugs. Hope you are okay.

@foot ,@tee and @jam really hope you got that egg 😉. Good luck with the tww lovelies.

Hie @mama, did you poas yet? Fx

Thank you lovely ladies for thinking of me and sending me well wishes. Today my bleeding has finally stopped. Going back for a repeat scan to make sure all has come out. It's been tough but like someone here once said, what doesn't kill us can only make us stronger. I really wish better luck can come on this thread. We need good news. Good sticky beans all round.

Lot's of love

Tee4me · 11/09/2017 15:19

God we really do need good news here, well overdue is an understatement!

Kate, looking forward to hearing how you got on! My TSH came back, I'm down to 1.5, so happy with that! xx

OP posts:
Jamon · 11/09/2017 15:25

Mimi how are you doing? I hope your family and friends are taking good care of you

Great news tee well done 👍🏼

physicskate · 11/09/2017 18:38

Made me nearly cry coming home and seeing your messages.... you lot are so kind!!

Oh mimi my heart goes out to you. I wish I could make it all better for you...

Very pleased to see that TSH result Tee!! That's smashing! I bet you feel like a new person too!!

My appointment today was unreal. SA 'good', 'well that's not causing a problem'. So chlamydia AND rubella came back fine!! (I honestly only though they were going to come back an issue to further frustrate the process, not because Ive had chlamydia... ). FSH was 6.1, so fine.

So he thinks it's the cysts. He gave me three months' worth of clomid and the first cycle is tracked with scans and cd 21 bloods. Worryingly, it restores some hope? So I'm worried about that...

Cd 7? So I've got about 4 weeks till it starts... probably going to be my longest cycle yet this time!!

Tee4me · 11/09/2017 20:09

Yes Kate!! You have an immediate plan of action (well 4 weeks - but nothing in the scheme of things!) Wonderful news!! Don't be scared to feel hope, we need good energy in our bodies, you must believe this will happen for you. I found a nice affirmation track on YouTube, you need to acknowledge that your body IS capable of doing this and WILL hold a pregnancy. Embrace this Kate they'll be a bfp by Christmas xx

OP posts:
Jamon · 11/09/2017 20:44

Hurrah great news Kate ! There's a thread on Infertility about clomid, might be some useful hints. How exciting for you, this could be all it takes Wink

Footy1 · 13/09/2017 18:55

Great news Kate! I started a thread earlier this year on clomid! Not on it anymore but worth a read if you need advice and some lovely ladies on there.
This could well be the only thing you need.

Update my end.. I'm cd20 had cramps for about 10 days now that have got worse. Went to see gp who thinks I have a stuck cyst. So got to have scan in next 7 days. Will update how that goes..

DuRezidal · 14/09/2017 03:08

Just catching up with everyone.

So sorry to read some of the posts, why is ttc so heartbreaking.

Kate great news that you have a plan. It means that things are starting to move forwards and there are options.

I'm ok, the leg is doing alright but still waiting on the second surgery on it. I'm back doing more or less everything i was again but have dropped to 3-4 horses a day now as my bump gets tight and my pelvis sore. I am 32 weeks at the moment and have my last show this weekend before the baby Ian born.

I don't enjoy pregnancy at all, but feel a bit sad that I've missed so much of this one with breaking my leg and all that entailed.

physicskate · 16/09/2017 09:32

It's nice to hear from you! Can't believe you are that far along! It doesn't seem that long ago at all!! Sorry to hear the leg has been such an issue and it's all happened at once. Silver lining? At least it didn't happen when you were a new mum??

We're planning out next holiday to see my parents over Christmas! Last time to see the house I grew up in and got through any of the crap I still have there! It should be during my third clomid cycle, which won't be monitored. (See how I don't even think any of these cycles are going to be successful???)... Jesus!

Would be nice to have a warm Christmas!

Tee4me · 17/09/2017 10:05

Hi DuRez, nice to hear from you. God can't believe how far along you are. Such a shame about you your leg. Baby will be here soon and you can put it all behind you.
Holiday planning is always a nice distraction Kate. I have a similar mindset to you. Used to plan things around the possibility of being pregnant, now I just expect the failure. We've booked in for an evening Spa at Nirvana in late October. Way back when I wouldn't have paid out for non-pregnant friendly treatments so far in advance. Now I don't think anything of it.
Jam you must be due AF soon? Hope you are getting on OK. IVF kicking off next month?

My Specialist offers a Super Ovulation treatment. Think it's a similar drug to Clomid, plus a scan to look at follicles and a trigger shot. I'm due to see him again at the end of the month if this 2nd cycle on Steroids hasn't worked. My appointment should be CD2, so I should be able to get started immediately. I don't think I can follow the steroid protocol for more than 6 months, so I feel like I need to do everything I can to make for a successful cycle.

Thinking of both Mimi & Nim, hope you are recovering ok xx
