@physicskate wow!! Just catching up and saw your incredible news.

DuRezidal · 16/07/2018 20:56

@Tee4me wow you too! This is such lovely news to read.

Parney · 24/07/2018 23:52

Ah wow guys, what an emotional roller coaster catching up on this thread. Sorry I haven’t had the chance to say hi in a while. I’m so happy for Tee and Kate, amazing news. Russ sorry to hear about your sad experience. I often think of the thread and used to check in all the time but I haven’t in so long so I’m glad to come back to good news. Big love to everyone!
I had a baby girl back in March, around the same date that the thread was started two years ago. The delivery was so much better-VBAC and she’s a little delight. I can’t wait to hear all about the progression of your pregnancies and more BFPs.

Tee4me · 25/07/2018 08:00

Oh @Parney how lovely!! So you've had 2 babies in the space of 2 years?! A boy and a girl, just amazing. Hope you are enjoying your little family! There will be 6.5 years between my DS and his sibling (assuming all goes well), I'm hoping he'll be a good helper!
@physicskate how are you getting on?
Hello @DuRezidal, hope you're good?
@Russkispy really hope you are recovering OK xx

@Tee4me , just going to the hospital as got a meeting with the Lead Consultant regarding my complaint against EPU. Feeling sad as have to talk about it all over again.
Hope all is well with you and the pregnancy is going well too.
How's @physicskate ?

radderss · 31/07/2018 19:38

Hi tee, physics how are you both getting on ?? All progressing well I hope.

Parney lovely to hear off you. You have your hands full ! Xx

radderss · 31/07/2018 19:39

Russ hope you're meeting went ok and it wasn't too difficult for you x

physicskate · 31/07/2018 21:47

I'm 8 and a half weeks now. Next scan is next Monday. Hope things are going well?? Still get sort of cramping, so a bit worried about that. Still on daily blood thinning injections - hoping that's not all that keeps this pregnancy going as they will ween me off them soon. Same with progesterone... so an anxious few weeks ahead...

I can't believe you've literally had two babies in this time!! So what's that like @parney??

Hope you're ok @russkispy...

DuRezidal · 02/08/2018 06:05

@physicskate do you have a Doppler? From 8 weeks I could find both my tiny humans heart beats, and that always gave me some form of reassurance as with both I had bleeding in the early stages.

physicskate · 02/08/2018 11:15

Nope, no Doppler... but I've been really sick this morning (after not throwing up for the past week or so), so I'm happy with that (weirdly!!).

Tee4me · 02/08/2018 16:48

@physicskate I'm so with you, the sickness is a delight for me, even tho it's grim combined with this heat! I've been very anxious too, have had lots of cramping. Been scanned practically every week, latest was today. I'm officially 9+2 and measuring 9+5. The cramping is just growing and stretching, hope you can relax a little but I know it's hard. The nights are the worst for me, keep waking thinking things are going wrong 😱

I've got a scan Monday at 9 + 3. I feel awful. And it's fantastic.

DuRezidal · 02/08/2018 21:22

Oh @Tee4me that scan is just amazing!!!

Russkispy · 03/08/2018 14:29

@Tee4me thank you for sharing your scan picture! Good to hear all is progressing well!!
@physicskate good luck with the scan on Monday!!

Footy1 · 05/08/2018 13:08

So pleased to hear from everyone. kate, so pleased with the scan and sickness. Also Tee! Such good news at last.

Sorry to hear about you Russ, spoilt your holiday too. Hopefully you are on road to recovery and that good news is just around the corner for you. Xx

Wow parney! Two babies 🤩
Glad you are doing well.xx

physicskate · 06/08/2018 16:08

So I cried tears of joy (like a big hormonal baby) when we saw this today. It's measuring slightly ahead at the moment. It waves like the queen and heartbeat seen again.

I'm honestly thinking of investing in one of these machines to see the little thing every day.

@Tee4me and @physicskate such wonderful posts to read. Absolutely delighted for you both!

Russkispy · 07/08/2018 10:27

@physicskate , beautiful! So so pleased for you!!

Tee4me · 07/08/2018 18:43

Wonderful @physicskate! My due date was also 5th of March but may come forward as I'm also measuring a few days ahead. Fantastic milestone to get to. Is it starting to feel real yet? x

OP posts:
radderss · 08/08/2018 10:12

Aw physics that's beautiful !! So happy for you.

I went in hospital yesterday with a miscarriage. Was 9 weeks but baby measuring 6 with no heartbeat. Been feeling rubbish with pregnancy symptoms for 3 weeks so obviously my body didn't click the baby had died. We had an early scan at 7 weeks which showed 6 weeks and heartbeat. So Baby must have died not long after that scan.

Tee4me · 08/08/2018 10:55

Oh @radderss I'm so sorry to hear this, it's just heartbreaking. My 2nd miscarriage was very similar, went for a 8 week scan and baby had died at 5+3. It was such a shock because I had bleeding with my first and this was unexpected. It must have been so hard for you, considering you'd seen a heartbeat. Really hope you are being looked after and have the time & space to heal. Virtual hug to you x

physicskate · 08/08/2018 11:12

Very sorry to hear about that @radderss. Be kind to yourself.

Russkispy · 08/08/2018 17:12

@radderss , so sorry to hear it! It's rubbish feeling now but it will get better. I was in the same situation but getting stronger each day 💐💐

radderss · 09/08/2018 13:00

I feel as ok as I can about it. It was a bit of a whirlwind when it happened I had to go to hospital twice and lost any dignity I had left!
We caught the month we decided to try so it all happened quicker than we ever expected anyway. Maybe it was too good to be true.

Do you know if the nhs offer reassurance scans if fall pregnant again and have miscarried ?
I'm going to ask at my scan next week.

I think the hardest thing for me is to think that this future that we had planned and this little Baby has been flushed down the toilet. It's so mad how quick things can change.

Key is not to think about it too much I suppose. What's meant to be will be and we move on !

It has also helped having been on this thread and obviously all your stories we see how common this is what can happen how it could be worse etc etc it makes you not take anything for granted xx
