Feeling is something I'm trying not to do at the moment. Jabs aren't so bad so far. I'm not a huge fan, but who is!? Next scan tomorrow!! So might know more then?

Had electroacupunture today. It was pretty relaxing, but weird. I'm going twice a week and feel a bit ripped off? But don't really care if this ends up working...

Mimilicious013 · 07/06/2018 19:32

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow hun.keep us posted.really rooting for you.you have no idea how excited I am for you (everything crossed it all works out in the end)

Tee4me · 07/06/2018 20:20

Hi everybody!
@physicskate you're really in the thick of it hey?! Really can't wait to hear more news!
@emalady DH done a SA 18 months ago and all seemed ok, so he's off the hook! Plus I've been pregnant 3 times in 2.5 years, which although isn't quick by any stretch, it does seem that sustaining a pregnancy is more my problem. We were told IVF without ICSI would be OK.
@Mimilicious013 so sorry you are still waiting. There is always hope. 💫
@Russkispy hope all is progressing well with you!
@Footy1 still think about you lots xx

So I'm on a Super Ovulation plan again this month. Had my follicle scan today, but it wasn't good, smaller and fewer follies than ever. Biggest was 15mm. Will be injecting Ovitrelle on Saturday night, so I guess it has 3+ days to plump up! Think it can be 1-1.5mm growth a day, so might be a decent size by the time I ovulate.
I've done progesterone pressaries when pregnant, they are absolutely fine. I would recommend back door over front door though!! - Not that I've tried front, just heard it's messier!!

Evening ladies,
Had my early scan today and left a bit confused. I thought I was 7 weeks. But she measured me only at 5w6d! It explains nausea starting yesterday but can’t work out the dates otherwise. The teeny tiny blip only measured at 3mm and with a flickering heartbeat at 94bmp. The sonographer said everything was progressing well for 5w6d. I sent an email to my coordinator and maybe she can explain this to me an reassure me everything is going well. What are your thoughts?
Book a Harmony test at 10 weeks.
In the meantime all set four DD’s 1st birthday on Saturday! Can’t believe, just can’t believe the time has flown past so quickly! 😢

emalady · 08/06/2018 07:02

@russkispy that must have been difficult. Brilliant that you got a heartbeat. With IUI presumably there can be a delay in the fertilisation like with just getting it on. Hope you get some reassurance soon.
@Tee4me it's good that his SA was all ok. Hope those follicles get a big bigger and do their thing!
I didn't have a choice back door vs front, the "gel" at the front is a bit messy and leaves wierd lumps of "residue" which is really gross but, if it's going to help I'm happy with it.

Russkispy · 08/06/2018 20:55

Spoke with my clinic today and was told everything was fine with the measurements as with IUI they can never tell th exact time of ovulation and/or implantation. Asked me to schedule another early scan at 8 weeks which I did. And funny enough not feeling nauseous today. A Good or bad sign?! Why can’t it be so bloody straight forward!

Tee, how are you getting? And Kate? Fingers crossed for you!

Tee4me · 12/06/2018 23:53

Good luck for the next scan @Russkispy, these early days are so stressful aren't they?! Keep us posted on how you get on. I don't think pregnancy symptoms are an accurate gauge at this early stage; my nausea was on and off with both my successful and unsuccessful pregnancies. Try to relax, easier said than done!

Think I ovulated yesterday morning after triggering Saturday night. Just hope it was a juicy one in the end!

@emalady all progressing OK with you?

@physicskate fill us in when you're ready!

It's been quite an up and down week!! Slow growth but LOADS of follicles (as I expected with my polycystic ovaries). Upped my stims. Scanned every day this week because they are a bit concerned about OHSS. Went for scan today which was the best yet! 5 are 'over the finish line' of 17mm and several more are close!! Today is going to be my last day of stims (and cetrotide, which is painful!!!). Currently waiting for a call from the hospital to be told when to trigger tonight. Collection is going to be on Friday.

Have to dash - off to acupuncture (I've been every day this week). This IVF lark is a full time job!!! So thankful I'm not teaching anymore... don't know how people juggle this around everything else! At least during the second week of stims...

Tee4me · 13/06/2018 12:44

Awesome @physicskate, all on track!! You're going to nail this, we're all rooting for you xx

Good luck for your next scan @Russkipy

Fx you caught the juicy egg @tee4me.best of luck in the dreadful tww hun.

Great progress @physicskate.lt is a good thing you are not at your busy work at the moment.rooting for you too.

It’s been a stressful cycle for me.more than a week late and no sign of af and many bfns.l honestly give up 🙌🏼

physicskate · 15/06/2018 14:34
  1. I'm knackered and drugged up. Medium risk of ohss.
emalady · 18/06/2018 10:53

@Tee4me I'm doing well, tired and sick but had a 6 week scan and seen a heartbeat, have another scan at the IVF clinic on Thursday, all looking pretty good and reassuring.

physicskate · 18/06/2018 11:57

Mild OHSS and now on daily injections of fragmin, which I gather is a blood thinner. May or may not have transfer Wednesday (if we get any to 5 day - not counting my chickens!!).

Congrats emalady.

physicskate · 20/06/2018 09:28

One top quality being transferred today and three in the freezer!! Maybe more to freeze tomorrow (but unlikely)! I'm quite honestly surprised!!

Tee4me · 21/06/2018 17:59

Oh amazing @physicskate!! How are you feeling today?? When do you test?? xx

OP posts:
physicskate · 21/06/2018 18:11

Ovaries quite painful still, hopefully settling down. Trying to just keep chill. Got to see our little blast yesterday. Already feeling maternal towards it which will make next Friday sad when/ if it doesn't work.

Tee4me · 21/06/2018 18:28

Think positive @physicskate!! This is going to happen for you, you are so close now. I can't tell you how excited I am for you, you so deserve this!! xx

Right, of course. But I am also trying to be realistic. We've got a 30.5% chance of this working. Trying not to get my hopes up because I'm not sure how I would pick myself up....

Tee4me · 22/06/2018 07:30

I understand, to a degree I try and manage my expectations every month too. I'm just really encouraged that you have a fresh cycle and a good supply of frosties too. I have been listening to an audio book called 'The Power', which coaches you to imagine and visualise the outcome you want as a strategy for helping you get there. I think after 2.5 years trying, subconsciously we are prepared for negative outcomes anyway, so allow yourself to imagine success too.

Fingers crossed for you Kate.... eagerly awaiting Friday.

We have decided to try for a second and I am hoping that we can all be on the pregnancy journey together this time xxx

emalady · 24/06/2018 06:52

@physicskate really good news that you have some frozen as well as the fresh cycle. Good luck with your test, when should you find out?

Tee4me · 24/06/2018 10:56

Great news @radderss Gosh I remember you right at the start, over 2 years ago now. How is you little one? You had a little boy didn't you? x

OP posts:
radderss · 24/06/2018 14:46

Yes had a little boy who's now nearly 17 Months. How quick time has gone!
I've always been here reading all your journeys. Often wonder how Jam is .... she seems to have disappeared now xx

Russkispy · 24/06/2018 17:05

Thought I’d never write this but...sad news for us. Had my 8+2 scan today but there was no heartbeat! When we had our 1st scan 2 weeks ago and I was measured a week behind as originally thought, sadly, everything stopped pretty much right there and then. As they measured me today at 6 weeks only! Devastated is the understatement. Booked for a scan at the local EPU for tomorrow afternoon and then discuss the next steps. I know some of you been in this position before and I’m really sorry about that. I couldn’t never imagine yiur pain but now I know! I hope you’re feeling stronger after that and positive as I believe it’s only the way forward. I have to! Thank you for yiur time reading this. X
