Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

Msjuniper tentative congrats too. I always have had faint lines even with my son ( who is now 21months) so no advice other than to sit tight.

I have never had a line this dark so weirded out! I only dtd on cd 14 so erm messed up!called my gp for an appt as they normally test my Thyroid and adjust meds when I am pregnant but the receptionist said there are no spots for three weeks. Am beside myself as if they do not adjust my meds I could miscarry ... agh! He didn't care.

emvy · 24/07/2017 13:37

That's ridiculous stuck, what the hell?! Get back on the phone first thing tomorrow and cry, shout, scream. Make sure you are first for a cancellation or even just get an emergency appointment about "something else"? What did they say? That it won't matter? God I can't imagine how stressed you must be. How bloody incompetent!

Ok, so fell off the radar for a bit but finally read back and have caught up!

Welcome everyone that is new, but sorry you are here.

bertie thank you for the new thread and excellent title choice. Sums us all up so well. turquoise you must take credit for the HT bit, it is a brilliant phrase and one I like to now use in RL too!

SJ88 I am truly sorry for your loss. That is just awful. You are more than welcome here, the girls are a lovely supportive bunch, Andy we all have such different experiences of loss. Just to add, a hopefully positive story, a good friend of mine also lost her girl at birth and went on to get pregnant 4 months later and had a little boy almost a year after her first loss. I never thought it was too soon when she said she was pregnant again, I've actually never been so bloody happy for someone. I can't think of anything more healing than to go on and have a child. Not a replacement, but just a child. Masses of luck for this cycle.

And stuck wow! What a line! I know it's not plain sailing but seriously happy for you. Go nuts at the gp that is insane they can't fit you in. Be a massive pain until they do, or turn up and make a bloody scene, or call epu, anything!!!!

msjuniper excited for you too, hope that line gets better over the next few days, so hopeful for you!

NoCatsHere · 24/07/2017 14:11

So I'm cycle day 10 today, and entering fertile week, or HT week I guess? I'm hoping for an obvious positive this month on the opk, not sure I can handle another shit vague cycle. Feel I've been very patient now, can't believe it's been 3 cycles since my mmc. The time just disappears in crossing off various sections of my cycle....

MsJuniper · 24/07/2017 14:17

Stuck that's awful about your doctor. I agree, make a fuss. If you can at least get a phone consultation then maybe the doctor will be more helpful?

Thanks for your positivity everyone, I am hopeful but had a faint line for my last three pregnancies which were just chemicals and strong lines for the three before that which also ended in mc. DS was a faint line though so there is always hope.

SJ88 · 24/07/2017 14:52

@Stuckinstressville that is a VERY clear positive on both tests!! congratulations. That's awful about your doctor, if I were you I would ring up again and demand an emergency appointment.
@MsJuniper tentative congratulations from here too.. fingers crossed this line keeps getting darker. I can't help much a was a serial poas offender when trying to conceive last time and know it will be even worse this time!
@NoCatsHere thanks for the story about your friend. That really does give a lot of hope. I'm worried people will think I've forgotten my little girl or I'm just looking for a replacement baby which isn't the case at all!!! I've lost her due to an infection (probably GBS but could also be something I picked up from contaminated water in hospital but that's a whole other story and going through investigation with the trust at the minute) but if it was group b strep there is a chance it could happen again and it is also linked to late miscarriage and third trimester loss too, some people have told me they wouldn't even think of trying again with those risks because it would be selfish of me... but consultants have told me that the biggest risk is in labour and that I would be given antibiotics which should eliminate most risk. At the minute I'm mostly concerned about my csection being so recent but I've googled and googled and then googled some more and it seems there are lots of success stories after 5+ months after csection and most risks are during vbac which I wouldn't consider due to risks of GBS once waters break. Sorry for the rant - I'm just absolutely petrified lol and would hate people to think that I'm just trying for a replacement or being selfish.
I'm cd10 today too- another empty circle on my clear blue monitor. Think I will stick with opks this month and then think about temping next month to see if that makes a difference.

SJ88 · 24/07/2017 14:54

@Flashinthepan good luck for when you test.. sounds promising. So annoying thought that af and bfp symptoms are so similar!! Xx

thisismadness77 · 24/07/2017 15:06

SJ I also have a friend who lost her first child at full term, a daughter. She conceived 3 months later and has a second daughter now. It was a wonderful thing to hear. X

Starshine1 · 24/07/2017 15:38

Fingers crossed juniper for you!

Hope you have some joy from your gp stuck- that's crazy they can't fit you in! Congrats on he line though.

Need some advice ladies- I have had my FSH, lh and e2 measured this cycle, day 3- FSH has come back raised at 15- am now really starting to worry that either I now won't be able to fall pregnant or miscarriages are inevitable! Does anyone have any advice or ideas?

I am seeing specialist on Thursday who is going to scan my ovaries and I have ordered a home AMH test to see what that is- but am just now worried

Stuckinstressville · 24/07/2017 18:07

Bugger. Just had a huge bleed just now... not sure this bean will stick after all. Managed to get a gp for tomorrow but thinking it might be wishful thinking....

Oh stuck I'm so sorry. I have everything crossed that it was just one of those things and it will all work out ok x

SJ88 · 24/07/2017 18:24

@Stuckinstressville crossing my fingers and toes everything is ok and this bean sticks. Xxx

Starshine1 · 24/07/2017 18:26

Oh stick- really hope this one is a sticky bean x

emvy · 24/07/2017 18:32

I've just noticed the 3+ photo you posted. Contact your epu maybe? You'll need some answers either way and your gp probably won't be able to give you them?

BertieBotts · 24/07/2017 18:32

Stuck maybe your last period wasn't a period and you were already pregnant? Call EPU or GP and ask for a blood test/scan to see what's going on perhaps.

Sometimes bleeding can be nothing in early pregnancy. Gah it's so horrible being in limbo though isn't it?

You could call EPU and see if you can go in tonight or tomorrow. GP won't be able to do much urgent from there anyway.

BertieBotts · 24/07/2017 18:34

In fact, since you've had ovary pain, I think I might even just recommend that you present yourself at A&E sharpish, as that's two signs (one sided abdominal pain + bleeding) of a potential ectopic pregnancy.

They should send you to EPU who might even be able to help with the thyroid issue if it turns out it's a pregnancy in the right place?

OP posts:
BertieBotts · 24/07/2017 18:35

Sorry, THREE signs. Bleeding, pain, and a positive test.

OP posts:
Stuckinstressville · 24/07/2017 18:48

Bertie - you make a good point -
I had this as the reason for my epu in march which ended as twin mmc - so had an erpc.

Pain has gone so will see gp at 11 but see if I can get a epu
Appt too.

Lime19 · 24/07/2017 20:31

Stuck, that certainly is a mystery. I'd be going to Drs with the ovary pain alone. Can you pay for a private scan not ideal but I find the NHS so painful sometimes it's the only way.

Did you get a negative test after your march lost? My friend had retained tissue you see after symptoms of pain and bleeding. The whole saga lasted months! She actually said she got a negative test one time but it became positive again a few days later.

Could call 111 and over emphasise the ovary pain. They may want to check for ectopic too?

StepAwayFromGoogle · 24/07/2017 20:35

Crikey, ladies, that's a lot of progress in a 24 hour period!

Stuck, that is an amazing amount of positive tests. Let us know how you get on with doctors/epu. Really cross they have been so sh*t to you. If it's any help I have been stalking following the 'pregnant after miscarriage' thread and loads of them had bleeds at the beginning (and are still pregnant).

MsJuniper, hope that line gets darker for you. Have everything crossed.

Starshine, what did the consultant/doctor say about your FSH levels? I assume they'd have recommendations. At least you'd hope they would. Don't know much about it but I'm waiting for the same results so it would be nice to know that they have some ideas!

Stuckinstressville · 24/07/2017 20:45

Lime I def had two negatives in April and dh just reminded me I had dildo can scan as per of the rmc on the 7th July so fairly sure it wasn't that. As was in cd 9 and she said it was empty.

Am 200 m from hospital so if I get pain again I will go- I have history of huge corpus luteum cysts too. Thank goodness dh is home to talk sense and not over thinking back to me. Am calm and zen like ... I was honesty a neurotic emotional twat earlier.

Thank you ladies for hand holding- bed now methinks.

Lime19 · 24/07/2017 21:02

Could be a multiple pregnancy? My last (twin) line showed up a good 7 days before which I did think was a bit odd...

Really hope it's a sticky one! Hope you have a restful night and get answers this week

Starshine1 · 24/07/2017 21:49

glad DH is with you stuck - good luck for your appointment tomorrow.

Step-no comment from gp as just had tests done locally for consultant didn't want to ask as I know that level is high and I didn't want to hear a receptionist say things which wouldn't be very helpful at all. I will know more on Thursday when I see the specialist I guess
