Come one, come all, new and old, no-one wants to be here, but at least we're glad we've got each other :) Flowers

Hope your stay here is short.

Now, some BFPs if you please and BFNs for those who are waiting for them too!

@AnneLovesGilbert

Thanks for your kind words, as usual you have something lovely to say despite all that is going on for you.

Yes it did all seem too easy before...I am so nostalgic when I look back to getting my last BFP in April last year.

Utterly shocked but delighted!
But after the dating scan nothing has been the same in so many different ways, I've changed and I don't think I'll ever be that person I was before even if I do get a BFP and another baby.

You've been on a proper roller coaster ride over the last year and a half or so...I really hope you get not only a BFP soon, but a sticky one too!

I am SO glad that I have this place to come and vent...nobody in real life knows what's going on.

DH is also away tonight so I'm just here with my thoughts while LO sleeps peacefully.

Sending you lots of positive vibes, I would be bloody delighted with a BFP for you! X

Thanks so much everyone X

raysunshine, & emvy, thanks so much, I'm so sorry for what you went through, and it really helps to know others have been in the same boat and got through it, I completely relate to everything you said. Ray I love the idea of doing something to mark the loss in some way and will think about that.

Teara I think everyone's already said similar but I believe there's no reason why we can't try straight away? (as long as you feel ready) and I think as long as you get a negative (I've had a negative already) ovulation can happen? I'm just wondering when to expect it, so as per others' advice I'll treat first day of bleeding as day 1, starts the clearblue opks around day 8 and see what happens.

If anyone had a successful method or any tips though, please share!

Nocats here* re ubiquinol, yes I started taking it after 5 cycles of trying (after reading a book which cited studies that proved the anti ageing effect ubiquniol has on our eggs, I'm 36 ) and I conceived that next cycle. Obviously that could be coincidence! And of course I then MC hence being here. It's really expensive yes, I found Amazon best place to compare prices and get the high strength capsules. The book recommend 600mg a day. I stopped taking when I got a bfp as wasn't sure if good for pregnancy. (Of course I have since tortured self that stopping them could have somehow contributed to the MC, so I can't win really!)!

Blimey, you lovely bunch chat a lot Smile

Turquoise, thank you for the fingers crossed. I have no idea about IVF either if I'm honest. I just know that they pick the healthiest (most wriggly?) sperm they find so thought it might be an idea.

I've had the fertility tests through the RMC at Coventry. All came back as normal. I was most worried that I might be premenopausal given my age but apparently not - FSH and LH both well within the normal range. The doctor just said I have to keep trying until one sticks.

I'm on ubiquinol too. Started after my last miscarriage in April. Also Vitamin D, high dose folic acid (5mg), B6 and B Complex on top of my seven seas multivitamin. Oh, and baby aspirin. No idea if any of it is making a difference but makes me feel better to think I'm taking what little control of the situation I can. Does that make sense? I think it's more for my mental health than my physical health!

Sorry for those of you who have been AFed. I will keep fingers and toes crossed that this is your month.

emvy, MsJuniper, so glad to hear things are still going well. Thinking of you. Hope tomorrow goes well. Has anyone heard from Lime?

Me for you also turquoise xxx

Has DH tried the Alan Carr book? It either works or it doesn't but it's a cheap easy thing to try.

I'd love to see your chart bertie if/when you'd like to. It's my new addiction. So sad Blush I'm actually looking forward to taking my temp every morning for something to hold onto... what the fuck has happened to me. Everything crossed for you!

Can so relate turquoise, I hope a sticky bean heals some wounds for all of us, but my innocence has gone for good, not to sound too dramatic! I don't know how I'll deal with the anxiety of another pregnant. I well remember the blind panic of the last one. Not that I wasn't grateful but it all just seemed impossible and then it was Sad Now we're so so so ready and it'll be okay. DH is the broodiest broody man ever. He sent me a video of fluffy bunnies in some glassware earlier. I'm a bit worried about him!

MsJuniper · 16/08/2017 00:04

Hi Step, thanks for the good wishes. I'm glad that your results were positive although it would be nice in some ways to have an answer that you could address. Still I hope it gives you some reassurance. Did they test for NK cells?

I intended to take 2 x 200mg ubiquinol per day & up it to 3 but started to get an upset tummy so just took 1 per day. It was only for a month so I don't know if it had time to take effect.
