Anyone want to join in the ups and downs of the 2ww this month?

Im 2/3 dpo, so AF due 25th/26th July. A bit unsure when I ovulated - got positive opk on cd10, temp drop cd11, temp rise cd12 which has continued until today (cd14). Natural cycles thinks I ov'd on cd12 but I think it's more likely to be 11 - what do you think? Anyhow, we only managed to hs once during my fw this month (it was on cd10 very late at night so poss good timing!), so I'm sure our chances this month are slim, but that won't stop me holding out hope.

Aww thank you! I was 10dpo naw they were all positives and were internet cheapies, FRER and CB digital with weeks indicator.. didn't actually believe it posted on here to check to make sure they weren't Evaps 😂 Xxx

cannonball8726 · 26/07/2017 17:36

Hey guys! AF came on Sunday so I'm out. Onwards to cycle 6. Sorry to hear about AF, meadow and katie. Good luck with next cycle and good luck to those of you still in 2WW!

Picklesandpies · 26/07/2017 19:12

Aw that's a shame - sorry to hear that. Lots of PMA for the next cycle then Smile I have a feeling that this isn't my month either but too early to test.

Clobear3 · 26/07/2017 19:36

Sorry to hear that Cannon Ball, it's always better once AF is here so you can move onto getting geared up for the next month! August will be your month, fingers crossed!! Does this group stay open? I love be nice to keep in touch until everyone gets BFP xxx

rachelandthenoodle · 26/07/2017 20:17

@Picklesandpies I've followed your lead and bought two FRER tests. I hadn't been planning to test until next week because I have no idea when/if I ovulated this month, but since last sign of any mc bleeding was 4/7, I figured I would be best waiting til around 2/8... but you're all making me very impatient!! 😂😂 now I want to POAS sooner!!

Might have a go on Friday too... ☺️

Picklesandpies · 26/07/2017 20:59

I'm glad I am not alone in my complete and utter lack of self control Rachel. I'm always amazed by other people's discipline. As soon as I'm near 6 days before af I am thinking about poas!

The tests won't arrive until later in the day so I'll have to wait to test on Friday first thing in the morning. I feel really nervous. It's been so long since we last did this. DD2 is nearly 7 and DD1 nearly 10! I feel older (even though I'm 33) and I've had a few health issues that prevented us TTC again before now. I worry that my body wouldn't come with pregnancy and something awful will happen to me (leaving dc is big fear) but I think I'm probably being silly!

We would love one more though so fingers crossed...

Clobear3 · 26/07/2017 22:23

Pickles: I've got friends with kids who only tested weeks post period even though they were trying!! Even when we don't want a baby I get there pregnant creeps and POAS! :0

Anyway, so I'm at the mental imagining lines stage. Just peed on cheapy and now debating whether the clearly BFN has a line, I always wonder if it's where there would be a reaction if there were HCG. But I was looking at it that long I imagined a line a bit.

Going to do another cheapy in the am.... :0 it's clearly a BFN and I'm just being silly

Clobear3 · 26/07/2017 22:26

I've had to use the baby monitor to glow on it! Can you see what I mean in my crazy it's totally a bFN but I wish it wasn't way?

2ww starts now!
rachelandthenoodle · 26/07/2017 22:44

@Pickles sounds like we're not in too dissimilar a boat. Ish. I'm 35, but have a DS who's 8. (He was conceived accidentally (a happy accident, because he's ace), through a contraceptive pill. Haha.) His dad's a serious twat, though, and it took me a bloody long time to find a suitable alternative. Now I have the most tremendous husband in the world who is the most amazingly loving and attentive step dad to my DS, but we'd really like to grow the family - DS wants a sibling, OH wants a child of his own, and I would like a child born to a man I love...only now I'm apparently ancient (😜) and things are NOT going smoothly. Bastard Fates are having a bit of a laugh.

Here's hoping we all get a bit of a break soon. It's such a depressing process when it doesn't go to plan, hey?!

rachelandthenoodle · 26/07/2017 22:50

@Clobear3 I've used the cheapie ovulation tests before but not the pregnancy ones...but I can't see a second line 😕 maybe try again on Friday? xx

Picklesandpies · 27/07/2017 05:48

Clo I don't think I can see anything - maybe the faintest line if I squint not I'm probably getting line eyes on your behalf! Think you should do a frer on Friday with me Wink How anyone can wait for weeks after af due I do not know!

Rachel Sorry to hear things aren't going as smoothly as one would hope. Have you been trying for long? At least you are now with the right person (few and far between!) He sounds lovely though! Is your DH desperate for a baby too? It's so frustrating that as a woman, time elapsing can be a problem when it's simply unavoidable. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Are you testing on Saturday?

Sictransitgloria · 27/07/2017 07:25

Bfn for me this morning. Going to wait for AF now I think (Monday). Fingers crossed for you all x

rachelandthenoodle · 27/07/2017 07:42

Argh. Why did I do it?! I poas'ed today. Just one of my old CB tests, but still feel annoyed to have wasted it. It was BFN, of course. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I now feel very crampy, on my way to work...pretty sure that's AF on her way. Doh.

@Picklesandpies we've been trying since December, but we were successful first time, which was amazing and surprising...and then we lost it at about ten weeks. That was back in March and it has taken until now for us to be able to ttc again because the D&C left the placenta behind and so I kept bleeding for three months. Bit of a shitter. Finally got that resolved in June, so this was our first real chance to try again. I'm torn between secretly expecting wanting it to be as quick as the last time, vs realistically knowing it will probably take a while...and all the while fretting that at 35 (with a mum who menopause quite early) I may be running out of eggs to throw at the problem. 😳😥

Anyway, I'm not giving up on this cycle just yet...if AF arrives, so be it. If not, I'll probably POAS again at the weekend.

xx

Clobear3 · 27/07/2017 07:48

Just done a test & it's the same, pretty sure it's BFN and that I'm just seeing the strip where there would be a reaction.

I'll still test tomorrow and Saturday am just incase but in all honesty I don't think it's happened for us this month :(

Sorry to hear that Gloria, let me know if you test again xxx

Clobear3 · 27/07/2017 07:50

@rachel: I guess it could just be your body sorting itself out this time. You will be super fertile though again I'm sure. It will happen soon even if not this time! :)

Clobear3 · 27/07/2017 08:00

Ps I'm 32 too, xx

LivLemler · 27/07/2017 13:47

Niggly sharp pains in my pelvis all day. In the middle, not to either side. Might be just wanting to feel things, but I don't think I usually get them, it doesn't feel very familiar. Anyone else get this? Boobs tender but no other symptoms (except some probably imagined nausea yesterday morning).

Clobear3 · 27/07/2017 14:19

Hey Liv! When I was pregnant with my 1st baby I had niggly pains for about a week before due and I kept thinking this is wierd! Think it must have been implantation pain xx

Picklesandpies · 27/07/2017 17:17

Rachel I'm sorry to hear about your mc. It must have felt a long wait until you could try again too. Like Clobear said though you could be super fertile now your body has had time to heal (even if your head hasn't!)

I've just poas - BFN - tres surprise! I shouldn't even test until tomorrow which is probably 6 days before af due but the frer tests had arrived and the temptation was too great! Feel deflated nonetheless.

Fingers crossed one of us is lucky this month.

Picklesandpies · 27/07/2017 17:18

When are you due af Liv

LivLemler · 27/07/2017 18:06

Not due til next Thursday pickles. I was going to hold out until Tuesday to test, but we're going out on Saturday evening so will do one that morning just in case so I know if I shouldn't be drinking. What about you pickles, when are you due? Am I misremembering that you're the same as me?

Getting ahead of myself, especially with clo's post, convincing myself of symptoms. But I know what I'm like and how I tend to get a bit carried away so should just rein it in a bit.

Picklesandpies · 27/07/2017 18:28

I'm due on 3rd too Liv. I don't think we dtd enough this month. We did the night before static smiley but then there was a drought for a few days. Bah....

LivLemler · 27/07/2017 18:43

That sounds good to me pickles - definitely not out.

I don't even have opks yet, and I'm pretty sure I oved when I was away with work and I still have my hopes up!

Picklesandpies · 27/07/2017 18:54

Even with a total BFP? I really don't understand the opks - if you ovulate 11-36 hours after the smiley then surely dtd the night before might be futile? I've had 2dc for goodness sake - you'd think I'd know these things!

I have my fx for you and everyone else on here Smile
