Anyone want to join in the ups and downs of the 2ww this month?

Im 2/3 dpo, so AF due 25th/26th July. A bit unsure when I ovulated - got positive opk on cd10, temp drop cd11, temp rise cd12 which has continued until today (cd14). Natural cycles thinks I ov'd on cd12 but I think it's more likely to be 11 - what do you think? Anyhow, we only managed to hs once during my fw this month (it was on cd10 very late at night so poss good timing!), so I'm sure our chances this month are slim, but that won't stop me holding out hope.

Hi Clobear - are you testing 6 days before AF is due? I'm testing Friday morning which that is for me. Loooong old week...

I think six would be tomorrow (due 1st) but I'm waiting I hope until sat am so that it's a more reliable result!

According to clearblue, 3 days before is 99% accurate! I'm going to do a cheapy and if in doubt do a digital as I'm awful at imagining lines

I'm impressed by your willpower Clobear. 6 days before af due for me is Friday and the wait seems awful!

Clobear - I'm out I'm afraid! Spotting which I'm almost certain will turn into full AF by end of today/tomorrow.

At least I can go on holiday and still drink.

Katie: that happened to me last month, we went to Greece and I had the best time drinking so was for the best in the end!! if I've got a negative result at the weekend I'll be having a lot of drinks as going out out! Xxx

No idea when I might be able to test, but thinking that since my last day of bleeding (although definitely wasn't AF) was 5 July, 3rd August sounds about right. But I've been getting weird cramps all day, so thinking it might actually be AF making an appearance now...which in a way would be good; at least I'd know something! Hate all the not knowing...and could really do with a large gin right about now! 😂

I have the worst stabby pain in my boob. It's awful. I'm going to test Thursday and Friday 🙈

Rachel: in my research, you can have a Gin! Until the baby has implanted sufficiently to cause a +ve test then there isn't enough connection I believe for the alcohol to reach baby ie HCG is produced once baby is firmly attached and ready to cause symptoms etc. Obviously I wouldn't have a lot but I've had a Gin last weekend.

I feel like I've got feelings in my belly but I really don't think I'll be pregnant this time.

Ok so I caved.....
Did the cheapy test with FMU in a cup and no sign of any line :( :( :(
I know it's only about 8DPO but feel if I was pregnant there would be at least a faint line :( :( :( :( xxx

That's a shame Clobear but I definitely wouldn't count yourself out yet as it is really early. I was going to have a cheeky test this morning (so early I know it's a waste of money!) but found I only had CB digital tests left and I can't justify using one at 7/8 DPO! I've just ordered 4 frer tests for £14.95 on Amazon which seemed like a good deal. So I'll wait for those to arrive and probably test Friday am. Eek.

My boobs have been quite tender for the past few days, still more than a week until AF is due, not quite sure if that's normal for me or not. Also convincing myself I feel queasy this morning but it might be in my head.

Was planning on testing on Tuesday, but we're out with in laws on sat evening so might test on Saturday morning just in case I shouldn't be drinking. Will see if I'm still feeling like this.

Don't be disheartened yet clo, it's still very early.

Mine were £1.99 on eBay... they say use up to 4 days before period due so to be fair I'm prob testing too early, but I still feel sad :( think I will try try try to wait until Friday or Saturday now. Maybe I will use a clear blue on Saturday am!

Clo - me too. It will be nice to see a BFP. It's nice to share the wait with people in the same boat though Don't count yourself out yet - 4 days early is a few days away isn't it? Might be better using a frer at the moment. Although like you say, even better to wait a few days before testing again. Keep us posted and I'll do the same.

Just looked it up and FRER has 6.3 ml and the one I'm using is 10 ml sensitivity! Just going to wait and do another on fri/sat and I can use digital clearblue on sat so I know in black and white! :(

@Clobear3 are digital as sensitive? I always thought they weren't!
I'm wondering whether I should bother testing on Friday... I will be 4 days before AF due but boobs are so sore (which isn't usual for me) and also a lot bigger than usual!

My boobs were my give away! And my nose I could smell everything! I tested on Saturday and got my bfp.. 18 tests later and I have decided I am pregnant! Lol.. I also gagged after eating a McDonald's and I sorta knew then! But I've seen and know ladies who got a bfn on the day of af and a bfp the next day! Good luck and baby dust to you all ☺️ Xxx

I'm starting to feel sick but don't know if it's because I'm thinking about it too much!!!

Clo you're not out until you're out. Realistically I shouldn't test until Saturday. In reality I've been POAS since Sunday. I must sit on my hands All BFN, which is not a surprise as today is only 11 dpo and they were internet cheapies.

In reality, I've decided I'm not pg, (although I will continue to test) as DH and I are away this weekend and next weekend and I want to have a couple of glasses of wine or 3. Clearly I'm not thinking straight about this!

Huge congratulations trying for another? What DPO were you and what test? So excited for you :) were the 18 all positive ones or did you donones before it said positive?

Boo: that's what it says on the packet so I assume 4 days before rather than I think the early test says 5?
