I think the last thread was full. I hope you all find this one!

RedPanda25 · 26/08/2017 11:06

Thank you @lisara79, it's terrifying me already! We've decided to have an early scan at around 7-8 weeks so I've got something to look forward to. Hopefully it'll help my anxiety too! Wishing you lots of luck xx

RedPanda25 · 26/08/2017 11:07

Thanks @RhiBee29, my MC was in June too. I'm really wishing for you that you'll be pregnant again soon!

lisara79 · 26/08/2017 11:09

I actually have the first midwife appointment on Wednesday.... if all ok with that then will book early scan for my birthday at beginning September

RedPanda25 · 26/08/2017 19:38

That's exciting @lisara79! Fingers crossed all goes well for you. I'm just going to have to try and calm down for a bit now - and take every day as it comes.

lisara79 · 26/08/2017 20:26

Best way @redpanda25 x

Congratulations @RedPanda25 xx

RhiBee29 · 30/08/2017 21:24

So cd32...no sign of af and no pg symptoms. Feeling so fed up, I just want to get back on track now and get on with TTC.

littlemimosa · 30/08/2017 22:55

Ah Rhi so sorry it's getting you down. Have you tested?

Melodypond17 · 30/08/2017 23:11

Ttc is a nightmare - not even sure what cycle day I'm on - af due any time between now and Sunday, but 2 bfn's already this week :(

Doctors appointment tomorrow to discuss polyp in uterus so I'm hoping I'm going to be referred to a gynaecologist to see what my options are

Fingers crossed for everyone else still in this month x

RhiBee29 · 31/08/2017 06:43

Not tested as I don't think there's any point, no symptoms at all. I might test tomorrow before we head off on holiday.

Good luck at the dr @Melodypond17, let us know how you get on x

littlemimosa · 31/08/2017 07:09

Good luck today @Melodypond17
Thinking of you.

Rhi might be worth testing just so you can enjoy all the things you want to eat and drink if it's a bfn x

RhiBee29 · 31/08/2017 18:03

AF just arrived, no symptoms whatsoever which is unusual for me. Very happy, DH won't be when I tell him there's no holiday action. Back on the cycle tracking now.

Melodypond17 · 31/08/2017 18:06

Doctor was not very helpful - said she'd refer me to a gynaecologist re polyps, but that could take months to come through...

Have spoken to dh and we've got a private gynae appointment on Saturday and will take things from there

At 43, time isn't on my side and I haven't got months to sit and wait for referrals to come through :(

Melodypond17 · 31/08/2017 18:07

Oh, and af arrived this morning so definitely out for this month :(

RhiBee29 · 31/08/2017 18:58

I'm sorry you didn't get more help & support @Melodypond17 I hope the private appointment gives you more answers x

littlemimosa · 31/08/2017 23:56

Melody so sorry hun. For AF and for not getting any answers today. I don't blame you at all for getting a private appointment. Let's hope you get some answers Saturday and can make a plan. So depressing isn't it knowing that time is potentially running out.
Rhi hurray for AF (weird saying that on here!). Enjoy your holiday lovely.

Melodypond17 · 05/09/2017 13:20

I saw a private consultant on Saturday morning - need the polyp removed, and I don't have 6 months to wait for the NHS...

Going private on Saturday to have it removed and they're also doing the dye test thing in my Fallopian tubes...

Ovulation next Monday I think so fingers crossed for this cycle and that the cost is worthwhile!

Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

littlemimosa · 06/09/2017 20:00

Hi Melody, great to hear that things are moving for you. Are you having the polyp actually removed on Sat? What is the recovery like, did they say? Do you have a general anaesthetic?
Great that they can do the lap and dye at the same time too. Fingers tightly crossed for you that this will sort things out and you can get on with the business of baby-making!

I'm ok, i'm about CD19 so in the dreaded 2ww but to be honest i'm not even considering the possibility of pregnancy. We almost missed ovulation as it was early (cd11) so only dtd once at that time. I'm getting a bit jaded with it all to be honest. I've got a GP appointment next week so might discuss options then.

Very quiet on here. Hope everyone else is ok? Rhi and Sarah i've been thinking of you two in particular....

RhiBee29 · 09/09/2017 14:50

@littlemimosa just back from hols full of wine & brie! CD10 and gearing up to dtd lots to burn off all the pastries I've eaten and hopefully make a baby. Feeling refreshed and positive How's the TWW going? Have you POAS?

@Melodypond17 good luck for today x

@lisara79 how did the midwife go? Did you book an early scan?

Melodypond17 · 09/09/2017 23:02

@RhiBee29 @littlemimosa - thanks guys

Has the polyp removed and laparoscopy this morning - had a general anaesthetic but was home about 3 hours after the procedure. Had a really sore back for a few hours but only a bit of pain around the wound site in my belly button now.

So polyp is gone and sent off for biopsy. My left Fallopian tube is blocked but the right one is clear so hopefully I've now got a chance.

This month is out though as apparently I have already ovulated (thought it was tomorrow) but as I'm still slightly bleeding, a bit sore down below and shattered, I can't have seen us dtd in time anyway.

All systems go for next month though! 🙏🙏🙏

Hope everyone else is doing ok xx

littlemimosa · 10/09/2017 22:58

Melody - so glad to hear you're ok and the op is done with. I think taking some time to rest and recover is a good thing. Let your body heal and then you can get back to the ttc next month.

Rhi - hurrah for wine and cheese! Happy to hear you're feeling positive again. A holiday can work wonders. I conceived DC1 straight after a holiday and DC2 on a holiday:)

As for me I'm CD 22 and feeling very pms-y. I'm not holding much hope. I'm not sure how much longer we'll go with ttc in reality. We are perhaps pushing our luck here.... v sad to even think about stopping but it's getting stressful.

Melodypond17 · 11/09/2017 06:39

@littlemimosa - I know what you mean.
We're gonna try naturally til the end of the year, then maybe 2 or 3 cycles of ivf then call it quits - we would have done everything possible, and I'd be 44/45 when giving birth and I really don't want to go any older than that...

Fingers crossed it doesn't come to it for either of us xx

Shredtheevidence · 11/09/2017 08:21

Sorry I have been missing. Been trying not to take it so seriously this month - it's not working.

@melody I'm glad things are heading in the right direction for you.

RhiBee29 · 15/09/2017 18:56

So both apps have aligned and the big O should be on Monday. Booked a reflexology session for that day too. I've told DH we're DTD every day until Wednesday to cover all bases, luckily he's onboard! Good luck everyone x

Shredtheevidence · 28/09/2017 15:17

I know this thread hasn't been active recently but I just wanted to let you know this happened today. 10DPO so desperately hoping it is a sticky one.
