Hi little mimosa - in the same boat as you this month. We only managed the baby dance once this month.... and I haven’t temped or charted this month. Don’t feel anything so another month gone.... :(

I’m CD 24, 8 dpo and AF is due next Friday.... nightmare as next fertile window is smack bang in the middle of me making a 3 tier wedding cake for a friends wedding....!!! Stress..... and usually I’m so tired after all that icing and decorating! Oh well..... just have to get on with it.

So, so pleased to see a bfp on here though Lisara..... so made up for you. Hope your feeling ok and all the other ladies.

RhiBee29 · 13/08/2017 14:13

Period Tracker says I ovulate today but Ovia says Wednesday so not sure. Accidentally dtd last night...too much red wine 🙊 was trying to avoid it during fw.

Sarah2209 · 13/08/2017 15:16

Easily done RhiBee.... |I always try and avoid it but sometimes it’s hard not to and as my friend pointed out to me when I had a glass the other day.... post pregnancies happen because of drink and they’ve no idea their pregnant Wink haha...

Sarah2209 · 13/08/2017 17:12

Sorry - that was meant to say Most pregnancies not post...... Blush

RhiBee29 · 13/08/2017 17:29

Haha @Sarah2209 I meant I was avoiding dtd as not ideal to get pg this month, I'm a bridesmaid on Thursday so lots of Wineand then we go to Disney Paris 1st September for a week. I'm sure I'm not that lucky to accidentally fall pg!

Sarah2209 · 13/08/2017 18:00

Oh I see.... HaHa.... I thought you meant drinking..... dtd and wine do seem to go hand in hand don’t they..... sometimes though I just prefer the wine Grin

Have a lovely time as a bridesmaid.... x

RhiBee29 · 13/08/2017 18:47

@Sarah2209 give me wine & chocolate over dtd any day!

lisara79 · 13/08/2017 18:53

lol... just give me the chocolate!

I can't remember who said about reflexology and ttc, but I had a session today and it was so good! Really feel-stressed me just in time for ovulation on Wednesday (probably)

Between that, doing the SMEP plan and some fertility lube, I'm really hoping this might just be our month! xx

RhiBee29 · 15/08/2017 07:15

Glad you enjoyed @Melodypond17. Sounds like you're covering all bases this month!

littlemimosa · 15/08/2017 07:42

Lisara - I temped one cycle a while back and it looked 'normal ' i.e. I could clearly see ovulation rise etc but I've not done it since as I find it a bit stressful. But I think I'm going to start again next cycle. You've inspired me to. How you feeling by the way?
Sarah - a three tier wedding cake sounds stressful! Let's hope you'll be pregnant by then....
Melody so glad you loved the reflexology. I'm there tomorrow and am looking forward to it. It's v relaxing isn't it.

lisara79 · 15/08/2017 08:00

Hi @littlemimosa. I'm good... still nervous and worried but I think that'll stay with me! All seems to be going ok so far.

I think the trick with temping is not too think too much about the individual days as the daily tempreture can jump around a bit... it's to look at the pattern over the whole month and over a couple of months. Once I looked at the pattern, I could clearly see ovulation... doesn't help that month as by the time you've seen the rise ovulatuon is gone but it does show you that you ovulated. Tie that in with CM and the fertility friend ap... and you'll see what you need to. It is stressful at first, you get used to doing it and it becomes easy and useful.

It was dtd when I had ewcm that worked for me... and I'm sure this pregnancy is down to the hyper fertility after the miscarriage...

littlemimosa · 15/08/2017 14:03

Thanks for all that Lisara. All good sound advice. If i'm out this cycle I'm def going to do it.

Glad to hear things are progressing well. I agree about hyper fertility after m/c - that happened to me. I conceived DC2 straight after a m/c. And that m/c was only 12 months after I gave birth to DC1. I think your body gets into a 'mode' once it's been pregnant once. Unfortunately i think it also gets out of it if you leave it too long (in my case now 4 years on after DC2!)

lisara79 · 15/08/2017 16:23

Thanks @littlemimosa it gives me hope when people have successful pregnancies after miscarriages. I'm hoping that my body just didn't know what to do but that it has a better idea this time! Fingers are still crossed for you x

Melodypond17 · 16/08/2017 20:25

Well I got my smiley face this morning but a bit frustrated that I didn't think to see if I had one last night as well as that could make a difference between dtd tomorrow morning or evening...

Mission accomplished today so fingers crossed and I guess I'm now once again into the dreaded 2ww.

Baby dust to one and all xx

Shredtheevidence · 16/08/2017 20:43

Good luck MelodyPond. I am in the 2ww too. I think so anyway as I got positive ppl last Tuesday. It is my DH birthday next Tuesday and quietly thinking to myself it would be lovely to get bro on his birthday!!!

Shredtheevidence · 16/08/2017 20:43

His. Not bro (that would be wierd)

lisara79 · 19/08/2017 12:18

Hey.... missing you all! it's very quiet here x

Hi all, sorry for the big long silence. I went away for 3 weeks and am now just back since Thursday. Just trying to catch up with news...congratulations Lisara! Really hope things go well for you.

I hope others are doing ok, sorry to those AF has got.

As for me, I seem to have got a BFP this morning...still not quite believing it and feeling very cautious about celebrating yet. Funny that it should happen on the cycle when we are having all our infertility tests done - I had my pelvic scan on Thursday and DP is supposed to be going to get SA done on Monday!

lisara79 · 19/08/2017 13:01

Wow @katiegd congratulations!

RhiBee29 · 19/08/2017 13:17

Sarah2209 · 19/08/2017 13:55

Wonderful news @Katiegd - life can be ironic can’t it..... Smile

Melodypond17 · 19/08/2017 14:20

Congratulations @katiegd x

littlemimosa · 19/08/2017 20:54

Congratulations katie!!
Remind me again how long you've been ttc and how old you are?

How's our other resident mama-to-be? Lisara looking at you! Hoping that little bean is nicely settling in...

As for me I'm CD29 and no sign of AF but that's not totally unusual for me lately. No symptoms at all though, zilch, nada. Not even sore boobs which is making me think I didn't ovulate. It's the progesterone from the egg that gives us sore boobs right? So if they're not sore like normal then surely I've not ovulated to my mind...I know i've done this pregnancy lark before but i honestly can't remember how i felt lol.
