I think the last thread was full. I hope you all find this one!

And of course by 'but down', I mean 'cut down' Wink

lisara79 · 25/06/2017 16:27

@cannonball8726 I have cut down on coffee and have reduced to one cup a day but I'm still having 2/3 cups of tea again... obvs, if pregnant, I'd switch to decaff... I did for the few days I was pregnant (before em)...

Thanks Lisara, I'm now in the bit of the tww where I get a bit crazy and mood-swingy. I think it feels like we've been trying for so long (not compared to some others I know), that I don't believe it can happen for me, as if it's something that happens to other people.

I know it's not over til AF shows so just have to wait til the end of the week.

Cannonball - I haven't changed habits much. I'm not a coffee drinker anyway but still drink quite a lot of tea. Have cut down on drinking a bit though.

katiegd · 25/06/2017 16:56

Just realised how miserable that sounded!

I'm really doing ok and have loads in my life that is good. However, TTC is increasingly taking up my mental space, especially at this time of the month.

McTufty · 25/06/2017 17:10

Hi cannonball I have started having a half caf coffee in the morning (if I buy one out), which is about 75mg. Then I have decaf rest of the day. I also have Diet Coke which has caffeine in but I have cut down.

Haven't altered my drinking, in a binge drinker anyway so probably drink once a month and really go for it. I would probably avoid doing this in 2ww but otherwise I don't plan to stop as life's too short!

McTufty · 25/06/2017 17:11

katie

That is a totally understandable way to feel. Pregnancy feels unattainable for me even though I have no basis for that as I haven't been off pill long enough to say. It's just scary and frustrating.

Very much hoping you get your BFP this month.

EMHW123 · 25/06/2017 17:18

Hey all, I cut out caffeine :) just drink decaf including the decaf Diet Coke I never can tell the difference although the withdrawal headache was awful!!

I've struggled with the emotional rollercoaster of this too, I'm reading a book just now called "the universe has your back" trying to put into perspective things that trigger my anxieties. It's a bit mumbo jumbo but it's given me a little bit of context to things.

MissyEm · 25/06/2017 17:33

Hi, if this is a lucky thread can I join please?!

First time TTC
Came of pill April 29th
OPK smiley June 23rd (does that make it DPO 2 today?)
Cycle 1 or 2 (not sure if break through counts as 1?)
Cycle day 16

So in the TWW, not sure when to test, may wait for AF arrival on July 5th if the Ovia app is correct?

Feeling nervous, scared, excited, impatient aaarrrrhhhhh SmileShock

RhiBee29 · 25/06/2017 17:38

Hcg levels are below 1000 so back in epu Tuesday for bloods to see if hcg is increasing. Now classed as a threatened miscarriage. The bleeding has gotten heavier so I'm losing hope Sad

Sarah2209 · 25/06/2017 17:39

Hello Ladies... Lisara thanks for tagging, I looked everywhere for you all!!

RhiBee - positive vibes and try not to stress.

Hi Melodypond.... Fx for tww

Hello newbies: Sarah here:

Ttc No.1
Age: 43
DH: 50 with some issues
This cycle is number 5 (though previously tried for a number of years before having a break and deciding to have one final try)
Currently started 2nd round of Clomid after the wicked witch arrived yesterday Sad

Mrsjones17 · 25/06/2017 17:40

@rhibee29 oh no I'm so sorry to hear that 😢

Sarah2209 · 25/06/2017 17:43

Just seen your other post RhiBee - thinking of you, and try to rest. Let us know how you get on.

Katiegd - tww is an emotional head mess.... stay positive and try not to dwell, easier said than done!

Jords0105 · 25/06/2017 18:29

Hi guys, hi newbies! So sorry to hear @rhibee29 got my fingers crossed for you!! How are you lisara? Hope everything's well. I've counted myself out this month me and oh and been going through a few problems so have only dtd once!! Oh well, always next month. Just wanted to ask if anyone knows why my boobs are so bloody sore? Lol it's very rare they hurt unless I'm really cold which I'm not or if I'm in the middle of af. Have felt a bit queezy every now and again for the past week or so. Im almost certain I aren't pregnant after the heavy bleed I had after the faint positive although I never did a follow up test haha!

lisara79 · 25/06/2017 18:37

Jords0105 only a test or waiting until next AF is due will tell.... I am fine... my hormones are all over the place but I'm quite positive about the future.... @rhibee29 what was your hcg level? when they tested me... after bleeding had just started, it was only 6 so miscarriage was well and truly underway. Please rest and look after yourself and know it's a threatened miscarriage... how far along are you?

@sarah2209 I looked for everyone too and why I started this... I missed you all!! Bad AF!! I was counting on you this month!

OP posts:
lisara79 · 25/06/2017 18:39

@Rhibee29 I meant a threatened miscarriage not a miscarriage!

OP posts:
lisara79 · 25/06/2017 18:40

Welcome @missyem Welcome... I always wait until AF due as otherwise it's too unreliable.... x

OP posts:
MissyEm · 25/06/2017 18:52

Thank you for the welcome. Sounds like you ladies have been chatting for a while.

This is all rather daunting and I never really understood, and still don't fully know what we all could go through. It's mind boggling!

@Rhibee29, I wish you all the best and sending you positive vibes.

@Lisara79, thank you. I will this month, although will spend 2 weeks symptom spotting! Already spent too much on OPKs and tests and I am only 2 months in.

lisara79 · 25/06/2017 19:05

@missyem we all symptom spot like crazy... feel free to share the madness... it's always a little confusing but we've all been at this for at least a few months and can offer advice... you're using ovia did you say? it's a good start! I use ovia, fertility friend, opks, temping and monitoring cm... if that all sounds like gobbledygook... don't worry... if you feel like you need more info, just ask!

OP posts:
RhiBee29 · 25/06/2017 20:44

@lisara79 I'm 6+3, bleeding continuously now. They didn't tell me the level. Pretty sure it's a miscarriage now Sad

lisara79 · 25/06/2017 20:59

@rhibee29 oh lovely... I'm so sorry you're going through this... Please rest and look after yourself... xxx

OP posts:
katiegd · 25/06/2017 21:19

@RhiBee29 so sorry you're going through this. Hugs and support for you.x

littlemimosa · 25/06/2017 23:18

Hi everyone. Thanks Lisara for starting the new thread. Glad to hear you're doing well after your m/c. Kudos to you for such a positive attitude.

Rhi I'm so sorry:( you must be devastated right now. If I remember rightly you have one DC already? I just wanted to say that I had the exact same thing happen at 6+3 with my second pregnancy. I then went on to conceive my second baby on the second month after the m/c. I know this is no consolation to you right now but i just wanted you to know I understand how you feel and that there is hope. I'm thinking of you sweetheart.

Sarah I'm so sorry AF got you. How was your first full month of clomid on reflection? Did it affect your cycle lots? How are you feeling about everything?

As for me, having had two months off due to crazy early ovulation, I'm now on CD6 and determined not to miss this one so the sex has commenced early this month. That egg is not getting away again!

lisara79 · 25/06/2017 23:30

@littlemimosa great that you've found us.... I just had a panic attack... could that be linked to my hormonal imbalance? DH and I had an argument (about Diane Abbot of all things) and I cried until I had a panic attack... never had one before.... hormones are making me cry often but that was odd.

OP posts:
RhiBee29 · 26/06/2017 07:55

@littlemimosa I really appreciate you sharing your story. I do have a son already.

littlemimosa · 26/06/2017 12:37

Aw Lisara how are you today after the panic attack? I'd say yes it definitely could be hormones. How have you been feeling generally both physically and emotionally? I know you've been really positive about things but I wonder if you've processed the loss?
