Anyone ttc baby #2 in July?

Hi all,
Anyone ttc number 2?!

I know lots of you are so I thought I'd see if anyone in same boat wants to chat on a new thread?!

I chat to some lovely ladies on the monthly ttc buses....I know some are ttc their first baby (some with real difficulties like MC, or just for a long time) and I feel so bad to be worrying about conceiving #2 when I already have a lovely little one tucked up in his bed upstairs, when I'm sure they'd love to be in that position. (Not that they'd ever say anything or show any resentment, as they're all lovely and just as supportive whether people are trying for 1st or 5th!!!)

It is a bit different though, different emotions... grateful for what you have but longing to be a mummy again... and different challenges (trying to fit in dtd when you have a little person sabotaging your efforts and popping up to demand a drink/teddy/phantom tummy ache, I swear he has a radar for it!)

So I just wondered if anyone wanted to chat who's in same boat ttc #2, as it can also be hard when you desperately want to have another baby, to give your others a sibling, and it's seemingly not happening...

I'm ttc#2 (ds just turned 3)
Age 36
Cycle 5 (af just ending). Feeling disappointed but hopeful ...

Good luck all ttc whatever number you're on!

@melissacole I think you need to fuck off

Foniks · 19/06/2017 01:17

Oh! YouCant don't you need any herbal herbs? I'm very sure this Dr with a Gmail address, no work address, is very trustworthy and his herbal herbs will be very helpful. Have some "fate" and follow your heart, forget science and facts, all you need are herbal herbs and a little bit of fate in the magical herbal doctor.

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 19/06/2017 19:45

@Foniks I think herbal herb Dr would meet his fate between my fists 😂

JackMarshall2 · 20/06/2017 13:28

Hello Ladies,
How are you all? I am supposedly 9DPO today.- going by my positive OPK ,CM and CP my cycles are so messed up since coming off the pill in December that if i got a cycle ( last one April 2nd) i think i'd be happy, but of course would much prefer the BFP. Still on Vitex, i've stopped EPO ,Dong Quai and Red Raspberry Tea that I miss drinking, as the one i get is actually yummy, after Ov... trying hard not to symptom spot ( i can be a sucker for it at times though)... I had practically none with my son.

Lots of Baby Dust to everyone xx.

Unicorn22 · 20/06/2017 16:21

Well I am now on CD35... I think I might be coming up to my fertile week given the slightly sore nipples and cm but typically cannot do anything about it as we have guests staying with us for a few weeks! Either that or its actually a BFP waiting for me (I wish!)

Which pill were you taking jackmarshall? I suppose it does take time for cycles to regulate after coming. Women should be designed with some kind of switch that you can press when you want to have a baby... it's hard not symptom spotting isn't it?! Even when you have been through it before and deep down you know when there isn't really any symptoms last time you were pregnant, you can't help but analyse every niggle!

JackMarshall2 · 20/06/2017 18:38

Unicorn22 i know what you mean when you have guests staying over... for me it makes me want to get it on even more, always want what you cant have.. lol I hope there is a way you guys can BD - they have to slept at some point right Smile or a BFP lurking..

I was on Cerazette (mini pill) i had no problems with it, never had a bleed unless i had a bad tummy ( also have crohns). i've read it can take a year to get it going properly for some, the biggest reason for a push to get my cycle starting is because this is a "well"period for me and my specialists have advised that i try and get pregnant in my "well" window as if i conceive whilst having flare ups or grumbles i could have that throughout, so whilst the going has been good since December now would be a good time. i wanted to have a natural cycle first so it would be easier for dating purposes so avoided TTC till Feb, wish i had just gone for it.

the switch would be amazing right!

yes very hard not to SS - although i think i'm SS'ing for AF, I think we did enough BD'ing before and after OV but my heart just feels like its gearing up for a cycle which i am ok with... for this cycle, hope I don't see its face next month though. i think i should be due end of this week or Monday depending on the exact day i O'ed.

pulpi · 21/06/2017 07:45

Can I jump on the bus?

The stats:
35, DS born 5/8/16 after 11 months ttc, still bf, no period since October 2015(!).

So it's a long shot at the moment, I'm sure, but we thought we may as well start trying again since it took a while the first time!

Unicorn22 · 21/06/2017 17:32

jackmarshall I don't think we can be with guests over, our walls are too thin! not that we are particularly noisy but I would be too paranoid Blush. Hope your crohns remains quiet for you and that It's a BFP rather than AF this weekend! I decided to POAS today...there was a line that was faint but I'm pretty sure I got an evap line grrrr...

Hi pulpi looks like we are quite similar, my DD was born end of July16 and also still bf, but only at night, but I have had only one period in may, and still wondering what my cycles are doing!

Hope everyone else is ok Smile

JackMarshall2 · 21/06/2017 18:08

unicorn22 hoping that it wasn't an evap... what makes you think it is? isnt it always when you least expect it.... when will you POAS again.. hoping and praying its a little bean for you!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 21/06/2017 21:03

unicorn fx it's not an evap! When will you test again?
Welcome pulpi Smile
I wonder what keeps af at bay when bf'ing? My pal is similar her dd is 13m and still no af but my dd is still bf'ing at 16m and I've had a period since she was 3m despite her being ebf! 🤔
My opk is getting quite dark now, its not yet 100% positive but getting there. I reckon it will be tomorrow hopefully on cd 12 Smile

HazelRah · 22/06/2017 08:46

Hello I'd love to join please! I'm very depressingly on CD1 again. Some very familiar stories above.
Stats
TTC 2
Cycle 6
37...
Very worried I've left it too long, it was so easy to get preg last time! Now my cycles are all messed up and I keep getting AF at 8dpo which is no use at all. Fingers crossed this month.
Good luck everyone! Hoping for lots of BFPs!

pulpi · 22/06/2017 09:22

Unicorn, bf just once a day would be so lovely! DS is going through an exceptionally clingy period and my boobs are exhausted. Only a little over a month left before I can stop GrinWineGin

pulpi · 22/06/2017 09:24

Of course, if I fall pregnant then no WineGin.

I hadn't thought of that.

Dammit.

Unicorn22 · 22/06/2017 11:54

jackmarshall the line came up after 5 mins but it looked a bit colourless to me so I think it was an evap, although that didn't stop me from staring at it for about 10 mins turning the stick in every possible direction and I went a bit cross eyed!! Will you be POAS soon?

blueespottytiger I'm going to maybe test at the weekend again. Have you had a positive opk yet? Think it's meant to be some hormone that gets released when we are bf that stops periods, although it doesn't seem to be an exact science! I was trying to wean LO off bf to conceive but it hasn't gone quite according to plan and in some ways I wish I hadn't... how often does your LO bf?

pulpi I should clarify that my DD bf at night but at least 4-5 times!! she manages with water and good amount of food in day but refuses any formula and think she makes up for her milk intake at night. Hopefully no vino for you but I mean that in a nice way!

Hello hazelrah how long did it take you last time to conceive?

HazelRah · 22/06/2017 12:59

@Unicorn on the first proper try last time! Thought it would be the same again but I guess a big difference between 34 and 37. I've splashed out on a clear blue fertility monitor this month so fingers crossed! Good luck to you too :-) I thought even a faint line was a BFP? Exciting!

JackMarshall2 · 22/06/2017 13:08

Unicorn22 hmmm what to think..something must have triggered that area... I really do hope you are cooking something in there!! will you test again today/tomorrow? i tested just now funnily, (not FMU) and its stark white i'm about 10-11DPO so still early but i'm an addict and have like a million strips just waiting to be used. Smile
i'm not going to test again till Saturday. I've had some mild aches around my hips and slight discomfort in the old uterus, over the past 2 days, nothing like when i was pregnant with my son, i had terrible double you up type of cramping, i ended up going in for a vaginal scan at 6 weeks to make sure it was not ectopic it was excruciating.... but guess little man was digging deep Smile so hopefully one or the other. I think i'll be ok if its not this cycle.. just getting AF would be a start and hopefully a BFP next cycle, but as they say - you're not out till AF arrives. do keep us posted! Wink

HazelRah Do you use a progesterone cream to help with your LP? i've heard B6 is supposed to be really good for lengthening the LP which might be what you need,... perhaps??.

HazelRah · 22/06/2017 13:14

@JackMarshall no I haven't heard of that!! Will investigate ASAP! Thank you :-)

user1498148400 · 22/06/2017 19:02

Hi everyone,

I am going to start ttc baby #2 this month! I have a son who is 18 months and have been horrendously broody for a few months now. Broached the subject with DH and he is happy to start trying! Am so excited to be pregnant again, I loved it last time! PS I am 27 Smile

MotherofBoy · 22/06/2017 20:58

Hi ladies just checking back in! Last day of holiday today. Cycle 5, CD8. Bring it! Feeling slightly more relaxed so far this month. We will see... too much food and booze over the last week though so that won't have helped egg quality oops! Back on straight and narrow tomorrow. Fx for lots of bfps this month! Hope you are all ok, haven't read back yet

Impatientmummy36 · 22/06/2017 21:43

HazelRah ooh please do check it out, i don't think you will have to dig too far, there are lots of info about LP defect and from what i understand an easy problem to solve. Some people take B6 and some take a B complex with B6 in it as it absorbs better Smile
the herb i have been taking Vitex also known as Agnus castus also lengthens but believe the B6 or the cream might be all you need. i'm taking the herb for a different reason to help push my body to regulate after BC for the last 6.5 years. But do, do your research i have heard the B6 might delay ovulation or bring it forward slightly but i guess its the end result that counts in the end.

impatientmummy i know... and its been so hot too, adding to the drowsy irritability...

HazelRah · 23/06/2017 15:24

Thank you JackMarshall! I'll look into it. A bit worried about playing around with my hormones without a doctor involved but will read up on it and see... Quite excited if it's a simple issue to solve :-) very kind of you to provide the info..

JackMarshall2 · 23/06/2017 17:41

HazelRah oh definitely follow up with your doctor, i work in the medical field but not a Dr by far. The B6 is just a vitamin. I'm hopeful you'll get your LP a little longer in no time. [Smile]

BlueeSpottyTiger · 24/06/2017 12:15

1 dpo 🤗 hope temp keeps increasing now.

Anyone ttc baby #2 in July?
MynameisJune · 24/06/2017 16:35

Hi

Can I join?

TTC no2 this is the 3rd cycle and AF arrived today on CD19! I've always had short cycles but this is the shortest. DD is 18months and I'm 32.

Really pleased to find people that understand :)
