Anyone ttc baby #2 in July?

Hi all,
Anyone ttc number 2?!

I know lots of you are so I thought I'd see if anyone in same boat wants to chat on a new thread?!

I chat to some lovely ladies on the monthly ttc buses....I know some are ttc their first baby (some with real difficulties like MC, or just for a long time) and I feel so bad to be worrying about conceiving #2 when I already have a lovely little one tucked up in his bed upstairs, when I'm sure they'd love to be in that position. (Not that they'd ever say anything or show any resentment, as they're all lovely and just as supportive whether people are trying for 1st or 5th!!!)

It is a bit different though, different emotions... grateful for what you have but longing to be a mummy again... and different challenges (trying to fit in dtd when you have a little person sabotaging your efforts and popping up to demand a drink/teddy/phantom tummy ache, I swear he has a radar for it!)

So I just wondered if anyone wanted to chat who's in same boat ttc #2, as it can also be hard when you desperately want to have another baby, to give your others a sibling, and it's seemingly not happening...

Cycle 5 (af just ending). Feeling disappointed but hopeful ...

squashy - my cervix is low and firm before af. Normally closed til day of or late in day before when it starts to open. My cm normally goes sticky after ovulation then dries up after about a week. I then get creamy cm in the couple days before af starts.

**Foniks, I've done the same thing! Preseed in Amazon basket for next month, just in case I get lucky without this month....!

I've heard good things about sperm friendly lubricants and the importance of ewcm - see my earlier comments. Definiately worth a shot!

Positive opk for me this morning, so looks like ovulation will be on cd15 again this month. Didn't dtd last night :-( usually try to do it before the positive opk, and I can pretty much always predict when it's going to be positive from other signs, so this is possible for me. MUST dtd tonight otherwise I'll miss my chance....isn't it crazy how you wait all this time and then it can be over and missed in the blink of an eye until next time?! And you think A YEAR is ages but for us it is just 12 chances.

Af arrived last night despite faint positives on Thursday so think it was a chemical pregnancy. Off to join the August bus, perhaps we could start a ttc#2 one aswell.

I'm 8dpo and suddenly have ewcm. Why does ttc always make nice reliable cycles go randomly batshit?!

I had crazy cramping at like 3dpo (i.e. when it was way too early to mean anything at all) but since then, no symptoms whatsoever. Feeling very certain it won't have happened for me this month. AF due next weekend - am really determined to hold out til then, rather than testing early...

This is now very strange... so, today is day 32. No sign of AF.

Usually cycles 29 days like clockwork. Still testing negative as of last night!?

Suppose cycles can just randomly change, it's just i'm so used to it being exactly on time so can't help hoping it's just not showing on a test yet...

AF is due today but not arrived yet. Cycles haven't entirely settled down post pill so they're probably just messing with me. Will try testing again tomorrow if no AF later today. No pregnancy symptoms except I was irrationally upset on Friday so probably hormone induced!

Fingers crossed for the rest of you awaiting/hoping not to meet AF

I have a long wait now as I'm only 2 DPO. The days seem to be dragging but I'm kept busy with work which seems to be helping. DH however has become a little more of a symptom spotter.

I think I might as well be out this month. I've been working abroad my whole fertile period. Honestly worried it'll never work that we are able to do it more than once per month at the right sort of time. If even that.

Sorry impatient and ladydolly - it's so disheartening to get AF as definitive proof it didn't work. Yes to an August thread, you ladies are so supportive!

For everyone who said they'd like a new Aug thread I've just started one for us (checked first no one else has yet so hopefully we don't have more than one by mistake!)

We could've just carried on chatting on here I suppose but maybe it's psychologically better to start a fresh one for fresh cycle of trying?!

Gah 9dpo and going slowly mad. Temp dropped by 0.3 this morning. Implantation?! Feels too soon for it to be a pre-period fall but who knows really. Going to test Thursday, assuming AF doesn't get me first - anyone else testing around then?

Finding it increasingly hard to leave DS and go to work. The idea of having another mat leave was keeping me going with FT work, but it seems so far away.
