I hope I did ok with the title (thanks for the inspiration Emwithme). I felt a bit lost without a thread to post on so I thought I'd have a bash at it.

I think I'm definitely going to wait until I get a missed period before testing. It's been an awful few days each month testing early, getting negatives, being horribly disappointed but not writing it off and then just waiting for the inevitable af. It's a horrible limbo that I don't want to repeat again. I'm not feeling positive about this month. It just doesn't feel right somehow. Sorry my posts are really miserable aren't they, I don't mean to be a misery.

I've been lurking in the background as I don't feel ready to go anywhere else at the moment. I have my first scan on Friday and I feel so nervous, worried. I'm expecting them to say there's nothing there or something is wrong. I hate this anxiety I now have because of all the previous loses.

My epu are crap! I can't believe how shit they have been throughout this process.

grumpy I'm about 7dpo i think, my tests haven't arrived yet. hoping i'll be strong and wait until fri. but I can feel temptation taking old already!!

if my af is due fri or sat that only gives me about 10 or 11 dpi before my period which is not great i don't think. So will be interesting to see if it is an odd cycle post mmc.

double its probably a better idea to wait for af. i find that disappointment far less annoying than an actual neg pg test. and you can be miserable as much as you like. that's what we are all here for! hugs.

nicola good luck for friday. please let us know how you get on, its only natural to feel worried and all those things, unfortunately miscarriage does all of that to us.

lime is this new bleeding after a break? Or have you been bleeding ever since the surgical management? Have you had a neg pregnancy test yet?

Only bled for first few days. This is bleeding after a long break. My last test was a digital on Monday and it said 1-2 weeks

Could it really be a period? Day 20 according to my app.if it helps, my cycles do tend to be on short side... I mean 26-28 days...

It certainly feels like a period. Oh I just don't know! I hate not knowing. This is a low day for me. Sigh. Lucky I had a pad on now.its getting heavier

Lime, my period was about the same after my miscarriage and was really heavy, I imagine it was my bodies way of getting rid of anything small that might have been left over. But if you start soaking through more than 1 pad an hour then ring back to your epu x

Welcome @Mrskjneate and congrats on the BFP. It's good to hear some positives even though it can be so hard.

lime it could be a period, mine arrived just one week after my bleeding stopped from a medical management. If it feels like a period, it probably is one. i think there isn't a set answer...it seems from what i remember on here from other people that everyone is a bit different post mmc. Try and take it as a positive that hopefully your body is back on track and you are cd1 ready for a fresh month.... But i know that's easier said than done.

My FRER's arrived, but i've resisted the urge. I must not test until friday - there is no point. Repeat, there is no point testing until friday......

Lime difficult to say I imagine. If the bleeding totally stopped I'd imagine it might be your period? I guess time will tell although that's probably not helpful!

Oh I just don't know! It's not coming to much. Just cramps, stabbing pains and some tiny spotting when I wipe. It's made a small patch on a pad ALL day. I hate the waiting. I hate the conflicting messages from medical professionals

I am 37- had one miscarriage, then my lovely little boy and have had four miscarriages since- 2 MMC and 2 chemical. Am hoping the next one will be one that sticks!!!! Have ovulated today so fingers crossed. Currently been trying again for 3 cycles.

Like many of you I am sure, I find my days preoccupied with thinking about where I am in my cycle and desperately hoping! Whilst trying to act like a completely sane person on the outside!

Lime, my af came a week after I stopped bleeding and only a few days after a negative test! So certainly could be. It wasn't heavy either. On the lighter side of a normal cycle for me.

Northern glad you have that bfn. It's a funny old mixture of emotions.

I've had some brown tinged cm the past 24 hours so am obviously freaking out, but also not feeling like I need to do anything about it yet because it'll either be bad news and sort itself out naturally or I'll find out at a time where I can get some definite answers instead of what would be a questionable scan if I was to be referred now. At 5+4 it just doesn't seem worth the anxiety of a questionable scan. Still feeling very certain this isn't going to end well. Fed up of feeling negative but can't seem to change my mindset!

Fingers crossed everything is OK emvy could you book an early scan for a few days or a weeks time? After a miscarriage here I can phone epu directly for early scan and will be offered reassurance scans of I want them up to the 12 week mark..

emvy hopefully as it's brown it'll be nothing to worry about although I can totally understand you having a crappy mindset. I'd say if it doesn't continue hopefulkyball is well and yes like smurf said maybe ring EPU and get one booked for next week when they can see more?

lime'im not sure your stabbing pain is great? If that feels different to a period pain that you'd usually have then maybe you should call EPU or book a doctors appoinment this week? My next period was a lot longer, about my normal bleeding amount and definitely no other pain except normal period type cramps. Hope you get answers soon.

I got my periods about 5 days early after mc both times. I don't think it's impossible.

emvy hand hold, brown is a good sign as it's old blood, but I know the fear. Actually spotting in early pregnancy is vvvv common so try not to fret but what will be will be. Can you do that "Today, I am pregnant" thing? Don't worry about whether you'll still be pregnant tomorrow. Right now you are. I believe scans are fairly clear from about 6 weeks so if you can hold on until the end of the week it might be worth asking then if there is still spotting? Don't worry about feeling negative, you are allowed to be as negative as you want you know, and it won't make anything bad happen. :)
