I hope I did ok with the title (thanks for the inspiration Emwithme). I felt a bit lost without a thread to post on so I thought I'd have a bash at it.

Thank you guys. Every time I consider the fact that I've had an almost certain positive test I get overwhelmed and emotional. I will be waiting for a nice clear positive before I even begin thinking any further. And this time, there will no imagining a bump, no picturing becoming a mum, just day-to-day normality as much as possible!

Lime, I'm so sorry you're finding it tough still. It's an awful journey and it does feel very long and exhausting. I still feel like just need a break from it all - from going over and over it in my head. Distraction is definitely key!

So I'm on cd18 and according to Ovia I've missed my fertile window. I've no idea what's going on though as I've had no lines on the cheap opk so far. But I bled and spotted for almost 2 weeks so maybe it's taking longer than usual. We haven't dtd even incase so far this month, don't want to push my OH - trying hard to keep it natural and not make ttc a chore! So tough though!

Yes we can stay strong. Is 12 dpo too early to test, pretty sure I implanted on 7/8 dpo, as thats when the spotting stopped. Or should I hold of until 13/14 dpo.

Flashinthepan I got my bfp at 11dpo but it was so faint I spent ages fretting about whether it was actually positive or not and wished I had waited so it was a definite yes or no. Give it another couple of days if you can but FX i would probably cave!

We went out to see a large gathering of friends- 2 obvious bumps and 1 other announcement (she was around 8 weeks- no quite sure why they said anything but I think it was the excitement of being one of 3 preggo in the same room- oh to be innocent & naive once again!)

Yes yes about the celebrity twins imminent arrivals, it will be plastered everywhere. Beyoncé already has been- I've read loads about people claiming it's her first real pregnancy, that's why she's doing so much "bump flaunting"

I was reading Hello/glossy mag the other day, looking at Pippa's wedding pics.

I was thinking "bet she is pregnant very soon indeed"....but then I thought, what if she isn't?
Having a sister with 2 little kids must be hard if you can't conceive.
And knowing that the papers will write stuff.

I'm in that dreaded limbo where I just want AF to get on and arrive so we can start a new cycle!

Wish I could fast forward to 3 days time when I'd be officially 1 day late. My longest cycle since the MMC has been 30 days.

So I'm fully expecting some spotting any minute now as that happens a day or so before AF

I've been doing the same for 2 weeks Turquoise - wearing pantyliners and having supplies with me in order for reverse psychology... anything for an ounce of control in this whirlwind of a situation!

Turquoise dress, I'm the same as you (feel like a hopeful that 😁). I'm on CD32 right now, and it's my 2nd cycle after MC. In saying that, I've no idea whether my cycle is just a bit messed up after MC. Just came back from supermarket and walked right past the sanitary towel aisle out of pure spite!

Oh and while I was there bumped into a friend I hadn't seen in a few years and she's pregnant with baby #3, along with my 2 best friends and SIL, so I feel all of your pain to everyone who keeps seeing pregnant people everywhere

Distracting thoughts for those of you waiting to test, and here is a random cute picture!

Driving myself crazy because I don't know if I ovulated yet or not. Signs are saying yes but technology has failed me so far this month (CBFM which you aren't meant to use first cycle post mc but yeah). Hate not knowing. Feel totally out of control even though we have DTD every day / every other day for a week and a half. Desperately want it to work this cycle - I just want to be pregnant again, and have my perfect spring/summer off work! Bored of peeing on sticks every morning! Bored of DTD!

Grumpy sounds like you've given yourself a good chance though? But I agree I hate it when dtd becomes a chore. I do like peeing on things though so never mind doing that!! What cd are you on post mc? I thought all wasn't working for me this cycle until I got such a strong positive yesterday afternoon. I feel messed up, this cycle is nothing like my normal ones before the mc. Hopefully I've been lucky and if not maybe it'll sort itself next cycle. I understand your pain though, I feel desperate to be pregnant again. Hugs

What a difference a few hours make. This is this morning - no where near as strong as yesterday afternoon so hopefully dtd last night was our best shot this month?!
