I hope I did ok with the title (thanks for the inspiration Emwithme). I felt a bit lost without a thread to post on so I thought I'd have a bash at it.

Yay huge congratulations @peach that is a v strong positive!
And @miami thinking of you and sending you v positive vibes for next scan - must be a v v stressful time for you - so good they are doing such close monitoring though.
Let's hope for a flurry of bfp's for the rest of us this month! Once I'd spotted my fertile window had
Moved and had ovulated a week earlier than expected we got down to it! Just hope it was enough!!!!

peachgreen · 19/05/2017 10:53

Thank you all SO much - I honestly don't know that I'd have made it through this horrendous year without you all. ❤️ I'll still be popping in to check on your progress (but obviously I won't be talking about my pregnancy here) - just want to see you all get your BFPs too.

@BertieBotts The squinter was yesterday, at 12DPO - period due tomorrow. I took the same cheapie today and the line was much clearer but still fainter than the Clear Blue - I don't think they're very sensitive!

lookatthemoon · 19/05/2017 11:20

Peach! Excellent news - I hope you have the most boring, uneventful and perfect pregnancy.

Miami - that must be so difficult for you. After everything we have been through, the least the universe owes us is to not mess us around once pregnant. I hope everything settles soon.

Bertie - i'm also well into 2ww (7dpo). I officially hate this part. I can feel the anxiety mounting each day that goes past.

AnneLovesGilbert · 19/05/2017 11:24

Peach!!!!!!!! What wonderful news. Crossing everything for you. Looked like a good strong line to me. But nothing like a nice "pregnant" on a CB. Sending you a gentle hug.

Sorry you're not having the comfy uneventful pregnancy I'd so hoped for you Miami. I didn't have bleeding in any of mine and I can only imagine how traumatic it must be. As the baby grows, will it take up enough room in there to tell your system to stop trying to af? Good luck with your scan. I know your DH will be looking after you. Keep each other close and I desperately hope you have an easy time as things progress xxxx

I'm so sorry about your husband's brother Nicola, what a horrible shock.

I had a quiet day on my due date and I feel a slight weight has lifted now. I can't imagine having a baby in my arms yet but I was enjoying being pregnant, so now that part is behind me I can stop knowing how many weeks I'd have been.

Ovia is being weird this cycle. I'm CD17 and it says I should test in 9 days but the calendar part says af not due for 12 days. I have the joy of cystitis so on a short low course of ABs. Got my hopes up slightly as last time I was pregnant I had thrush the week before bfp. Totally unconnected to cystitis but you know how you tell yourself stupid things!

I'm not OPK but for the last 2 cycles I've had ewcm and right or left stabbing on CD 10. Does anyone else ovulate that early? Since the mcs I have a 28 day cycle.

After my first mc last year I ovd 10 days after it started and that turned into my MMC but I always assumed it was just a weird one.

NoCatsHere · 19/05/2017 11:43

ekphrasis my due date would have also been mid november, seems a long way off, but i already feel disappointed for the different christmas this year.
miami hope all is ok at the next scan, you can never relax can you? it's so cruel....
peach you have made my morning - i love seeing happy results. gives everyone so much hope - and in your due date window too. masses of love and luck for this one. and please feel free to post when you need to, we are here for reassurance even if you are pregnant!

off to download an app to track my periods now. i had my medical management miscarriage almost 4 weeks ago. stopped bleeding last thursday (so about 3 weeks bleeding), then nothing for a week, and now had a little brown bleed yesterday and now a bit more blood but red today - not loads, enough that a panty liner can cope. shall see how it develops over today...do you think it can be my period? i'm confused!!

AnneLovesGilbert · 19/05/2017 11:48

Ovia is a really handy easy-to-use app NoCats, it's American but works fine for a Brit. You can fill in as much or as little info as you like and it tracks your periods and gives you a fw prediction.

Sounds like it could be your period. Do you have symptoms with it usually, cramping, back ache anything, that would help you know?

NoCatsHere · 19/05/2017 12:01

hi anne thanks for that, i've downloaded via, it seems nice and clear which i like.
and no i'm normally symptom free, maybe a little ache/cramp sometimes...i guess it is the first day of actual red bleed and it's very light so perhaps i'll just see what happens over the next few days. i really hope it is which is an odd thing to say but i'd like to know all is well and i can get going again!

NoCatsHere · 19/05/2017 12:05

and i meant to say i sometimes i used to get a high on my fertility monitor when i used that a few years ago on day 10, but not a high until day 13 or so....

NoParticularPattern · 19/05/2017 12:41

Hi ladies! Just checking in really since I have nothing to report. Very busy week or so on the farm and have just about recovered from pulling an all nighter to get the silage in before it rained!

Sorry to see all you newbies here, but welcome nonetheless! Also congrats to peach and big hugs to miami.

Oh app wise I use clue. I don't think it's really designed as a "get pregnant fast" thing, but it seems really spot on with the predictions so long as you put plenty into it. It even predicted this month I would ovulate late which according to CM and cramping I think I did. I've no idea how it works it out but it seems pretty spot on to me!

Ekphrasis · 19/05/2017 13:44

Congratulations peach!

Ah miami that's frustrating and really tough for you. Have they given you any kind of possible outcome with that type of womb or advice?

I'm sorry nocats I think I remember seeing you on the Nov thread? I certainly got my period exactly 4 weeks later. I was quite crampy. It almost felt like had been bleeding for 5 weeks. I like fertility friend.

NoCatsHere · 19/05/2017 13:58

hi ekphrasis yes i was on the nov thread....nice to have someone to ask advice but obviously sorry you are here too! so do you mean 4 weeks after the mc started? or 4 weeks after bleeding ended? i'll look at FF too, thanks x

Ekphrasis · 19/05/2017 14:13

It was exactly 4 weeks after it started properly and the worst day of the mc. For some reason I thought it would take longer, however I suspected I was ovulating exactly two weeks later so it was a normal cycle. I'm usually 25/26 days though.

AnneLovesGilbert · 19/05/2017 14:18

Makes total sense to hope it's af NoCats, it felt like my body was back doing something it was used to, after weeks of feeling like I'd failed at everything. I do know what you mean. Once it's been and gone you'll have a new clean start to try again.

I didn't have af between first mc and second pregnancy last year, then had surgery for mmc and af arrived 28 days after surgery (had been bleeding for 5 days pre surgery but nothing post), and after latest mc in Feb, it was 28 days from start of mc to next af, so like a normal cycle and the mc started when I was 5 weeks.

I've been lucky to have had my cycle bounce back each time but it varies for everyone.

Did you mean you used to get a high on opk on CD 10 a few years ago but not since? Sorry, wasn't sure.

FresasAndFrambuesas · 19/05/2017 14:19

Congratulations Peach fingers crossed for you. And for you miami - I don't have a bicornate uterus, but I bled on and off all through trimester 1 of my first pregnancy (with dd), it's crazy stressful, but hopefully it'll hang on in there ok.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 19/05/2017 14:27

Well I just did an IC test which I knew would be positive as technically only finished miscarrying on Wednesday. Hard to see but it's the only thing I can measure right now - no idea how long it will take me to ovulate from here. Right now I'm just desperate to be pregnant again. The bleeding is variable - sometimes I feel like it's almost over then it comes back in fits and starts. The good thing today is that I am hungry again for the first time in a week. I have lost 5lbs in the last 6 days.

Once the IC test is negative I'll use the cheap OPKs to see if anything is happening. The cycle I conceived I used the CBFM and I ovulated exactly two weeks after CD1, which was so textbook perfect lol. Anyway so i will use that again next cycle - after I get a real AF. I hope it won't be too long.

BertieBotts · 19/05/2017 15:17

Just as a bit of info, ovia isn't very accurate and uses dodgy algorithms. It's okay if you want just a rough idea of when you'll be fertile but I don't recommend it if you want something more in depth. Fertility friend is good but less pretty, kindara is supposed to be good as well.

yellowfrontdoor · 19/05/2017 16:28

Yayyyyy!

Congratulations, Peach! Flowers

conkerchops · 19/05/2017 16:41

I've found ovia pretty easy to use and have found it v good for going back to previous months to track what my symptoms were - do you have to temp to do fertility friend as I am not with it
Enough in the mornings to commit to that!
My cycles were always 33-35 days and after both miscarriages they both went back to that - although on the cycle I conceived what turned into second miscarriage ovia seemed
To know I would
Ovulate late and I conceived on day 27!!! Without ovia I probably wouldn't even have dtd that day?

emwithme · 19/05/2017 17:24

That is a bloody lovely BFP Peach hope it's a sticky one.

6DPO here, been having some odd cramps the past 24 hours. Trying not to read too much into it - DH and I got our BFP on cycle 2 last time, this is cycle 2 of TTC post MC, so

DH and I have agreed not to test until Bank Holiday Monday which will be CD29 - and he's hidden the tests so unless I go and buy more, which I am absolutely determined not to do this month (unlike last month when I spent a fortune!), or search the house, then I can't test until that point.

DancingUnicorn · 19/05/2017 17:43

I shouldn't test until then too em. But I'm away on the Saturday night, and I'd like to know if I should be completely sober or just more sensible than usual... so I'm probably going to buy a frer and test early and try not to be too devastated.

BertieBotts · 19/05/2017 18:02

No you don't have to temp but it probably won't guess your ovulation date without that, but if you use OPKs it does have an OPK only, non temping mode.

It will still give you predicted fertile days. But then so does Ovia :)

I am a total mess in the mornings but temping I don't mind for some reason.

peachgreen · 20/05/2017 08:13

Thanks so much everyone. @emwithme, fingers crossed for you this cycle.

DancingUnicorn · 20/05/2017 09:37

Just came to me, with people talking about tracking apps. Ovia conception definitely lets you report a miscarriage (it then removes predictions until first af) so I would have thought the pregnancy app has the same thing. I literally deleted it immediately though, so no idea. I hope when I get to reinstall it it has forgotten. :(

Morning everyone! Hope people have nice weekends planned. I have nothing planned but need a distraction from first week of tww symptom spotting (because it's a bit ridiculous trying to convince myself all digestive twinges might be pregnancy!!)

Doublechocolatetiffin · 20/05/2017 09:39

Peach congratulations that's lovely news! How are you feeling?

Bertie that's very interesting about Ovia, I'll probably use fertility friend and temp next month too. It's a shame about Ovia though as I liked the app, lots of useful info and articles. I feel like I've learnt loads this month (and I wonder how on earth I managed to have my DD not knowing all of this!)

I'm counting the days until I can test. I want to know now!! I'm feeling so much more positive because I actually ovulated this month and I'm sure I didn't last month. It feels like we actually have a chance. It's going to be awful if I'm not because, despite trying not to get too carried away, I'm failing miserably and am definitely way way too excited that this might be our month.

@DancingUnicorn Ovia pregnancy allows you to report MC too. I did and they sent me a nice email. Thanks for letting me know about Ovia conception because it's now messed up my cycles completely thinking they are double the length. I'll see if recording my MC on there helps.
