I hope I did ok with the title (thanks for the inspiration Emwithme). I felt a bit lost without a thread to post on so I thought I'd have a bash at it.

@peachgreen sorry you're having a rough time. I'm in the tww wait as well and trying so hard not to symptom spot too. Super dizzy today which I had when I was pregnant before but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

@Dancing we've had the same thing and it got to the point where I was dreading dtd and I think OH was too. I'd never realised TTC would be so unsexy. I hope not opking helps.

@swimchick1980 I'm sorry about AF. That's rubbish. I think howling is ok (although perhaps where nobody can hear you!)

A quick question for those a bit further down the road then me - how long did it take your cycles to get back to normal after mc? My last one (and first after mc) was 26 days which is shorter than my usual 29 days and now I'm not sure when af is due, and so when I could test. (26 days would mean af due on Sunday) Despite the attempts not to symptom spot and tell myself not to obsess too much, I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance. Or someone to tell me to stop being so stupid and just wait till next week!

@hometownunicorn Three months - I had 28 days, 30 days, 33 days and then back to my normal 30 days every month for the past 5 cycles. Totally different time of the month to before my MC though.

Thanks for the welcome! I've taken the opportunity of not being able to ttc to have some elective surgery which got put off by the ectopic. So today I'm sitting around drinking tea, eating biscuits and watching Buffy, all essential to my recovery

Unicorn my cycles went back to normal almost immediately so it could be back to normal for you this cycle, although it obviously does take longer for lots of people. Sitting firmly on the fence here

Thanks @peachgreen and @FresasAndFrambuesas that's helpful. I think I'll try and wait then and assume things are closer to normal. I'll also be giving myself a stern talking to for getting so obsessive about symptoms as I know it doesn't help and won't make me any more or less pregnant.

Ah, that's easier said than done though hometown! It's impossible to not notice things and wonder. Maybe I'm just not trying hard enough!

Indeed @Dancing! The uncertainty is too hard. There was also some pregnancy chat in the office this morning and I think that's sent me more into overdrive than normal.

I think planning what I will do for ttc next month is helping to temper my hopes for this month. Not that I could possibly have symptoms at 1 or 2 dpo! Feeling happier today at least. Let's see how long it lasts this time.

Evening all Well I didn't get the BFN I was supposed to get today but my BFP was a squinter and nearly three weeks on I think I've finally stopped bleeding so hopefully tomorrow I'll be HCG free. Fingers crossed and onwards...
Today we went back to the playgroup I had to leave early last week because of a fit of weeping and everyone was lovely

So... I always swore I wouldn't do this BUT I just tested (a day early, not FMU, I know, I know, I AM
THE WORST) and I think I have a squinter! It got much darker and now looks like a clear pink line but I know you can't trust them after 10 minutes really. Anyway, I've posted a photo taken after 5 minutes and one after about 10. The faint line came up after about 1 minute and then got darker and darker. I've sent DH out for some Clear Blues and will test with FMU tomorrow. Argh.

I am testing Sat morning, i tested again today at 12dpo and was BFN so Sat will be 14 days since my positive OPK so we shall see. No symptoms though apart from a little dizziness earlier today.

I went for my follow up scan today regarding the cyst on my ovary and it has now gone...woohoo! It does look like i have the diagnoses for PCOS though so well shall see what that brings at the next Dr appt. Apparently i have a lot of immature follicles on my ovaries...haven't yet dared to google! Would explain the trouble conceiving though if it is PCOS. .

Lets hope Peach's positive is the first of many on this group :-)

@hometown just read your earlier post, for me it took just over 10 weeks for my period to return after MMC but i hear others are a lot quicker. I am only on my first cycle since, and currently on CD 35 so not sure if/when my next period will be. xxx

Congratulations what excellent news.
I was just popping back to say hi to you all. We have had a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions the last few weeks. Long story short, I have been bleeding a lot. I had a scan at 6+3 and 7+1 due to bleeding. All ok so far. I have a definite bicornuate uterus, the baby is in the right horn and the stupid left horn keeps cracking on like it wants to have a period. I am an emotional basketcase, all symptoms have disappeared and we have another scan on Monday at 8+6 for reassurance. I am trying to stay positive but it is so hard when everyone you go to the loo there is more blood.
Anyway sorry for the whinge. @NicolaC17 so sorry about your bil, even though you DH wasn't close it will still have a massive impact, be kind to yourselves over the next while.
@AnneLovesGilbert dates are hard, so so hard. When I logged in to my pregnancy app for this pregnancy it told me I was 29 weeks pregnant and I almost threw my phone at the wall in a rage.

Thanks all. DH and I are very cautiously optimistic but not celebrating AT ALL until we get a more definitive test result as we don't trust a squinter! Will update tomorrow.

@Miami81 ugh that is shit, I'm so sorry. It's hateful that women who have already been through losses often seem to have difficult pregnancies. So unfair. With keep my fingers firmly crossed for your next scan. x

Pretty clear BFP! DH and I are praying that this one sticks and that all of you ladies soon follow with your own BFPs.

Peach that looks great!! How many DPO was your squinter? I'm 6dpo today. I think I might do a little test on Tuesday. Then Thursday... then waiting for AF.

And yes, WTF with pregnancy apps. They are supposed to have an option to say you've miscarried but sometimes you don't look at that and just uninstall it :/

I mean, you'd think that they would notice you hadn't done anything with it in a while and would offer you the option when you first re-log-in. "Would you like to Continue tracking previous pregnancy Start tracking a new pregnancy"?
