Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

flash maybe do another test tomorrow? My friend didn't get a positive until a week after AF was due. Has a beautiful little boy now.

Pyjamas good effort! We've been through patches of 'functional' sex over the last year and a half but I must say, for whatever reason I'm actually really enjoying it again now. I think we've got better at it with all the practise 😉 . That said - our final shag on Sunday was rather sore - I actually felt a bit bruised time for a break now I think!

I've never kept it up during the TWW - wonder if we should be...

jam just read your post about your friend. Wow so tragic imagine getting that far and losing a baby let alone the rest of the sad story. She sounds a super strong lady and I wish her all the best.

Thanks missy and others who commented. I haven't stopped thinking about my friend the last few days and partly wanted to share her story as she is so full of PMA. I'm sure she and her husband will have the family they so deserve one way or another.

Yes I'm sure she will. My friend has a genetic condition which means any organ or vessel In her body could rupture at any point in time, it's dreadful. Obvs uterus is one of those organs so she made the choice not to ttc and now has the most gorgeous little girl via adoption, she even looks just like her!!

Flip! Just did a test because started wondering why only light spotting on and off and typically I had a bloody error message despite being super careful grrrrrr

Thanks for sharing jam, as others have said, she sounds super-strong and what an amazing attitude in the face of horrible circumstances.

Missy, flash - fx no AF is a good sign for you guys, glad it's not a total washout for this week's testers! Though appreciate it's probably annoying not knowing what's going on

Yeh quiet I worked myself up to doing it as well and then looked and it was just an error. I don't have any more left so might grab some on way home from work if of course full flow has not appeared by them. Got drs appointment this morning so kind of wanted to know before then double grr

Missy if you're late, concentrated urine any time of day might be enough? Could ask the dr to do a test if you can hold until then.

Thanks flash just been to Waitrose and picked up a few more don't need loo at all at moment though. Will mention it to dr when to at 10. Bit crampy more like a strain feeling so not really thinking it will be positive but I am technically late now was due yesterday.

I am still spotting but also still have really sore boobs and no cramps. Bizarre.

So GP this morning, with DH's second SA results.

Whilst some areas had improved, GP was quite negative about our chances of conceiving without assistance so we're being referred. I was rather surprised (cue waterworks!) as didn't think she'd be that proactive as in truth the aren't terrible but in a way it's a relief to have a way forward and something to focus on.

Morphology had increased from 4 to 7% but as the count and motility is adequate rather than good, it's the overall viable number which is the concern.

Oh Winging I'm sorry to hear that but also pleased that you aren't being asked to wait around and try if your GP thinks it's unlikely to be unsuccessful naturally. [Flowers]

Thanks for the support about my friend's baby. It really is good to know that the way I feel is normal and doesn't make me a horrible friend. My friend knows we're trying which I'm relieved about. She's coming over with the baby in May so I've got time to pull myself together before I have a cuddle.

Jam your friend's story is so unbelievably sad and really puts things into perspective. Her PMA is amazing.

winging its such a shock, I can completely sympathise. It took me a few days for it to sink in and I started feeling more normal / positive again. Give yourself time to think it all over.

7% morphology is excellent. I hope you still have a decent shot at natural conception - and now you know you have the back up of assisted if you don't.
