This thread is for anyone trying to conceive... or thinking about doing so through donor IUI or donor IVF. Nothing TMI - feel free to join, we are a lovely group here to support and help keep the cray-cray away!

Good question pez no I don't think so.

I made a cheese sandwich earlier And i had a brief moment of wondering if I felt sick and then carried on as normal. My stomach is making the normal gurgle odd tweaks but over the last few months I have been paying attention and it always does this!!

The reason I caved and tested is I felt wet down there but no af and 🙈 I googled and that made me think maybe I should just check. I had been doing so well up to that point and had even resisted fmu !

I feel great, have been in meetings all day so no time to think too much! And im off for some drinks with friends now. I'm much more relaxed this time round, I guess nervousness will come back as I approach the end of my TWW...
The fact you got lines today has re-boosted my confidence that this process does work!

So clinic emailed me back-payment all received and linked to dumb ass me but yay!
So AF not here yet, tummy squirming but this could be ibs.... I'm usually 26days on the dot....still few hrs to go. Don't want it to be late as may screw up when booked time off in May for....sure it'll be here soon enough

Char - my OH had some wobbles too (same sex relationship with donor sperm). Perfectly normal. Now titch is here she is totally besotted and really good with her.

Whats - Remember the odds include people with known fertility issues. If all your problem is is lack of sperm you should have higher odds. Same sex relationship here and we now have a 15 week old daughter thanks to IUI. Feel free to ask any questions.

Shoes - when is little due again? Hope all is going well.

Hoping (the other one) - Definitely looks like a faint line to me! Do some more and let us know... no judging for early testing here, just bear in mind risks...

kwick feel quite relaxed now Harry is paid for but just weird was like hey where are you?!stupid body, dint think I've ever WANTED AF to come..... how times change when u want a bubs 😊

Utterly gorgeous baby! I love her baby grow! So nice to see a baby in something other than pastels. How are you? Are you managing to enjoy motherhood in the midst of the tiredness etc.?

My due date is 10th May but I'm due to be induced at the end of April in view of my blood disorders. I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and just at the point of finding that my bump is getting in the way!

Thanks ladies. She is amazing. But then I am biased!

Shoes - I love bright and colourful. Not a fan of pastel pinks and seems 90% of clothes in the girls sections are pastelly pink. Also we didn't know if we were having a girl or a boy so tried to stay neutral/unisex. She does sometimes get mistaken for a boy but I'm fine with that. Let me know if you want me to bore you with brands etc... I am very much enjoying motherhood. I still can't quite believe that it's finally happened for us. Mya is a very good baby and has slept through the night from 6 weeks! She is such a chilled out haply little thing too. We've really done well and lucked out! Mya was born a week early as she was breech so they did planned c section. Is that the plan for you too? Feel free to pick my brain re c section if that's relevant for you. On the plus side you get to meet your little one a bit early Smile

What I love is ur due date is almost to the day I'll have my first iui and when you'll prob have baby is around CD1 of that cycle.... it's like passing the little batton on in a relay-right now it's ur turn type thing :)

Kwick - thinking of you today. I hope all goes well.

Pickle - try not to let it stress you out that AF is being slow to appear. Hone your patience! This whole process requires bucket loads of being patient. I've learned that I have no say in my cycles. Before starting IUIs my cycles were all like clockwork. Then that changed just as I wanted it to stay regular!

Taydex - please do bore me with colourful brands Smile

The plan at the moment is for me to be induced via meds to bring on labour. However my baby seems to spend most of its time kicking my pelvis so I won't be at all surprised if I end up with a CS for breech baby!
