Hello all - just had a quick catch up on everyone's news
Glad you're ok kwick (and the kwicklet too of course) and a massive well done to you caution; it's so hard, and you've done amazingly well. I know what you mean about medication - I'm on a permanent maintenance dose of citalopram to manage my depression, which works brilliantly (am very lucky) but doesn't help with my size. I also had to take a lot of steroids as part of my cancer treatment, and haven't managed to take that weight off. DP has been seeing an acupuncturist to help her conceive, and I've started seeing the same one for weight loss treatment. It does seem to be helping - might be worth a go for you? It's not a miracle cure, but I'm finding it has accelerated my loss slightly (don't think I'd have lost 7lb otherwise).
Quick update on where we are: only 9 days after our BFN from cycle 5, so today is day 7 of cycle 6. I gave DP her Gonal F jabs on day 2 and day 4, and she was booked for a scan on day 5 (Friday). Results of the scan were that DP has 2 very large eggs on the left side, and a very thick endometrium, so we're ready again
We're booked in for IUI tomorrow afternoon (day 8; those crazy drugs!)
We were up at 2am today doing the ovitrelle trigger injection - aiming for a very precise 36 hours
Anyway, here's hoping for lucky number 6.
