Welcome Debbie - what exciting news for you (autocorrect wanted that to say excrement Hmm)

Amanda - I'd been using one step previously but ran out and got huffy as they always gave me bfn. I wasn't even going to bother as a bit skint until
Friday but too many weird things going on with my body & got impatient. Still no af but no bfp either. Want to rip my itchy nipples off. They don't work anyway. I don't need them.

AmandaJL41 · 31/08/2016 23:12

Cautiously excited for you Bloop - it sounds really promising Smile Hope the witch leaves you alone for another 9 months or so.... When will you test again?

I'm 2/3 dpo today. Too early for even the most eager symptom spotter!

DebbieSB · 31/08/2016 23:45

Thanx. Though i cant get excited yet. We had nhs tests and both came back normal for our ages. What ever that means. That was 3 or 4 years ago now.

Bloopbleep · 31/08/2016 23:52

I wouldn't be excited Amanda - I've always felt it before and all I'm feeling is sick and dizzy and that's how I am before af. I'm wondering if I had an oddly late ov or maybe my LP decided on a whim to return to 15 days. Or maybe I didn't actually produce any lining to evacuate. I'll try again at weekend if nothing appears.

AmandaJL41 · 01/09/2016 10:54

Well Bloop, hopefully it's a good sign of a strong LP, even if doesn't lead to a bfp. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you though. It's not over until the fat witch sings....

AmandaJL41 · 01/09/2016 10:58

Debbie, I totally understand your caution. Sadly multiple mc's means that we don't automatically equate a bfp with a baby in 9 months. But you're pregnant NOW! (See Pies for her PMA mantra) and that means you're past the first massive hurdle. Keeping everything crossed for you & your little bean xx

furryminkymoo · 01/09/2016 14:02

Hello Ladies, can I join in please? I am 41, ttc no.2, Been trying since May 2014.

Waiting to have the tube scan/flush thing with the NHS, they couldn't fit it in last cycle but said maybe next.

I just had a 3 day bleed on day 18, no idea why or what it was. My last two AF's were a week late but always BFN.

AmandaJL41 · 01/09/2016 14:09

Hi furryminkymoo. Could your little bleed have been implantation? Fingers crossed for you Smile

furryminkymoo · 01/09/2016 14:23

Amanda, thank you, I would love it to be implantation, it was 3 days, I have had my hopes raised most months and spent a fortune on tests!

Starlumiere · 01/09/2016 15:00

Oh la la furryminkymoo fingers crossed for you! And welcome sweetie!

As for me, I am ovulating right now so having fun with my man Grin. I am a lot calmer than the last few cycles….let’s wait and see how I will be in the next 2 weeks though!

Good luck all!!

Bloopbleep · 01/09/2016 16:47

Thanks Amanda- it's definitely a longer LP than last few months :D
Hello Furry - I was going to change my name to something similar to yours. Glad I didn't now ;). Welcome - everyone here has been really lovely. Fingers crossed the odd bleed was implantation.

Still no sign of af and no preg symptoms. Maybe this is the beginning of the end of periods Confused

lousylear · 01/09/2016 17:06

AF arrived this afternoon. At least I know where I am now. Was a 37 day cycle! And I can enjoy Greece next week with my dp. Fx for everyone else.

AmandaJL41 · 01/09/2016 17:26

Boo for all the AFs Sad

Love all your bonkers names! Mine is so boring!!! I just picked a random name and went with it - didn't know til I got in here that it could be something completely nuts!

Bloopbleep · 02/09/2016 17:04

Ah well I'm out. Af arrived in glorious painful cramps. Thankfully this means nausea and fatigue stopped. Another failed month. Onto cycle 20somethng...

ababsurdum · 02/09/2016 19:04

Welcome furryminkymoo, I hope this is your cycle. I had some yucky, gungy spotting/v light bleeding the cycle I conceived last year but none when I conceived my ds. Sounds like it's still too early for you to test, fingers crossed for you.

Bloop & lousylear I'm sorry AF arrived for you. It's utter crap isn't it, especially when you're late. Better luck this cycle for you both Wine Chocolate

I'm about 11dpo today. Was convinced AF was coming but have been feeling dizzy this evening so am now wavering. I really should know better!

Starlumiere · 02/09/2016 21:36

I decided to go to the Spa this evening but I have had a metallic taste all afternoon plus evening. Now feeling dizzy and a bit of nausea. I don't want to analyse but it is hard!!!! We will see I guess....

Good luck all and sorry for those who got their AF X

AmandaJL41 · 02/09/2016 22:46

ababs I'm rooting for you! Good luck!

Star, how many dpo are you? I'm 4/5. Getting spells of dizziness, lots of yellow cm, night sweats & nausea. Got a bit excited til I did the maths and realised the egg won't even have trundled down the tube yet!!! Blush Taking it as a good sign that my progesterone has kicked in though - last cycle (1st proper one after D&C) I didn't feel like my body ever really got going, iykwim. Hate the wait! Gets me every month, even though I promise myself I'll forget all about it next month Hmm

Greenglassteacup · 02/09/2016 23:20

Hello All. I'm on cycle 9 ttc our second child. I conceived on cycle one with our first child when I was 36. I'm now 42. We delayed trying for a second for years as we foolishly assumed I'd get pregnant really quickly again. I'm finding the two week waits tough and am misinterpreting all sorts of twinges and sensations as evidence of pregnancy only to start my period each month. I worry we've left it too late

Greenglassteacup · 03/09/2016 17:37

Watches tumbleweeds blowing past.... Grin

ababsurdum · 03/09/2016 20:32

Welcome Greenglassteacup, the thread is usually a bit quiet at the weekend. I'm sorry it's taking a while ttc your second, it's rough isn't it? There's still a good chance for you though, have you spoken to your GP?

I nearly bought pg tests in Superdrug today. I had them in my hand but put them down and left the shop. I figured I'd know soon enough and if AF hasn't arrived on Monday I'd get some then. Gut feeling is that AF will be here but you never know.

OP posts:
Greenglassteacup · 03/09/2016 21:33

Hello Smile I spoke to the GP after 6 months & she said it's early days & to keep trying. I don't think I want any tests or interventions. If it's going to happen it'll happen (that's what I keep telling myself). Crossing my fingers for you, hoping AF doesn't arrive Flowers

ababsurdum · 03/09/2016 22:07

I know what you mean, I feel pretty much the same. I conceived last year so I know it's possible, it's most likely an egg quality issue and not a great deal can be done about that except, perhaps, donor eggs. I'm a couple of years older than you though, part of me worries we are playing with fire every month we try.

Whereabouts are you in your cycle?

OP posts:
Greenglassteacup · 04/09/2016 00:27

I'm at day 13 now. Cycles vary between 28 days to 35 days. Getting positive ovulation tests every cycle.

ababsurdum · 04/09/2016 09:04

Best of luck dtd then!

I'm out, AF started this morning. Grrrr.

OP posts:
AmandaJL41 · 04/09/2016 09:51

Aw, ababs Sad So sorry. I really hoped this would be your month Flowers On to next month.

Greenglassteacup, welcome. Good luck for this month. The two week wait is a form of insanity, isn't it? Before ttc, I really don't remember much besides the odd cramp a few days before af. Since ttc, I have all kinds of twitches, twinges and symptoms. I've had 3 mc's this year, so I've only had 2 'normal' cycles, 3 if you include this one (CD20). I lay in bed last night trying to figure out if my boobs were tingling, or if it was just the sheet moving as I breathed!!! Bloody nuts! Rationally I know that it's so obvious when I'm pregnant I don't even need to take a hpt, but my brain has gone into overdrive this month. I think it's maybe because it's our last cycle before going for IVF, which we are having to borrow the money for, so there's such a lot at stake. I think I could do with being knocked out for a week ConfusedBlush
