Sorry ladies I have disappeared for the last 24hrs. Looking forward to all those testing soon. Looks like a lot of you are testing roughly on the same day. I got home yesterday and spent an hour working sanding the cabinet that I will start painting this evening after work. It took my mind off things.
Bliss - Enjoy your holiday! A good break away somewhere so exotic should do the trick! Fx
MsHopey - you are not out yet. I didn't have many recognisable symptoms. Apart from the constant toilet visits at night. Literally I was going every 2-3hrs every night for the last 5 nights. But then that could not be possible. I should not have had any symptoms yet, unless I ovulated and conceived earlier than I expected.
Bassett - good luck on catching 1st cycle. Lots of people have caught at this stage. I was a bit more relaxed with cycle 1. I think I even missed ovulation all together as I was too keen and by the time ovulation happened, I was already shagged out! And I was away for work at the other end of the country. For cycle 2, we dtd every other day from end of AF and then everyday for the whole fertile window including 2 days after assumed ovulation day to cover all bases.
MsHopey and MrsCW - thank you! It has not sunk in yet. It is so early, today is 11dpo! It has happened already?! I am amazed at what the body can do. I didn't think I would catch so soon as I am also overweight.
I bought a pack of three frers and a digital test from boots during my lunch break yesterday. I used one of the frers last night and it was the clearest bfp I have had so far. I showed it to DH and he was speechless. Before we went to bed, he said that it will probably sink in on Sunday when I use the clear blue digital and it spells it out to him.
I tested using the leftover ics with morning 1st wee but didn't recognise any lines. I then used the last Tesco one and it came up with a very faint line the I could have assumed it was an evaporation line. Can you tell I can't believe it! I will this time wait till Sunday when AF is due to test again.
Eva - ouch! I remember being stung by bees in my childhood in Africa, the swelling and itch that followed was unbelievable. I was only about 6years old but I remember the pain very well.
19Laura - good luck dtd. Hope this is the cycle that you get your bfp! Onwards and upwards.
Monkey - how are you getting on with the smiley face? Still static?
