I did about 6 tests and all very faint positives but got a negative on a digital on Friday, which was probably still 4 days before AF is due. I can't imagine they were right as it was way too early after Ov so im a bit worried something is wrong as I've had a totally, couldn't even squint at it for an evap line test nearly 4 weeks ago.

I chucked them all in the bin after that and decided I need to accept its probably not my month. AF due tomorrow or Tuesday if my cycle is straight back to normal. Hardly slept last night as thought every twinge could be it starting.

Having plenty of cramps for the last week and a full feeling on and off which is unusual before AF but think all bets are off for what's 'normal' for a while Hmm

Keeping my periods are shorter and lighter after having my daughter. Only 3 days with maybe a little bit on a 4th most of the time.

Alb1 · 25/09/2016 12:31

What tests are you using say? I don't have anything helpful to add, but since loosing my DD in May I always get a faint positive on frers (no other brands tho) and I've had blood tests and scans and nothing's wrong, it's just some freaky talent I have. There's a good chance your pregnant and it's just too early to get an accurate result so early. Hopefully you either get a better bfp or AF very soon though so your not left in limbo for too long Flowers

SayItIsntSo1 · 25/09/2016 14:02

Alb I used boots bog standard ones and tried 2 of their early response ones (line was more faint with those if anything) plus 1 clear blue digital. It was a boots bog standard that I got my negative on a few weeks ago so figured they'd be a good baseline for me.

I don't think I will get a BFP but trying and failing epically! to keep calm and convince myself that I'll get pregnant soon enough. Managed to drop on first cycle with my daughter and second cycle with my MC although it's hard not to fret that it won't be quite so easy this time. Sad

Brenna24 · 26/09/2016 00:07

AF got me today Alb. I am out for this month.

Say everything crossed for you.

Josie01 · 26/09/2016 05:30

Hello!

Have been lurking here since my mc 2 weeks ago, so just came to say hi.

The only thing that has kept me going during this time is the hope to become pregnant again.

I'm 31 and this would be my third, I kind of convinced myself previously that I was done, but my last pregnancy made me realise I do want this. The mc hit me pretty hard. As with everyone.

Anyway, I've been trying to fathom this ttc lark. And failing! My last pregnancies just happened so I've not actively tried before. Obviously I know what you do! 😂 But it's all the things alongside I have no idea!

Sending getting preggers vibes to you all x

Alb1 · 26/09/2016 07:28

Ok just got peak fertility on the digital opk again so I'm guessing it was a false positive Sad no signs of ovulation at all at the min tho so I imagine this is false too. Haven't had the flashing high fertility before the peak your suppose to get either just cd 8-12 negative, cd 13+14 high fertility, 15,16,17 negative, 18 positive again. I hate my body Sad

Sorry AF got you brenna

Welcome josie and sorry about your loss, I hope you find some support here Flowers

littlepooch · 26/09/2016 10:16

Sorry AF got you brenna.

alb that sounds so confusing. I guess maybe DtD to cover all bases if you can. My first month post MC this time my cycle was all over the place. I kept getting positives on my opks but In the end I'm fairly sure it was an annovulatory cycle.

Welcome josie. Sorry you had to go through that Flowers

AFM I've had two days of the worst every tummy cramps and still have them now. I was literally doubled over last night as the pain was so bad and I was feeling so sick. I always get period pain but never as bad as last night. AF is due anytime from Wednesday onwards but I'm sure judging by these pains that she will turn up today/tonight. This time round I think the MC has really messed with my cycle. Im on holiday so keep dashing to the loo armed with tampons and pads, think my DH thinks I'm going a bit mad!

SayItIsntSo1 · 26/09/2016 11:58

Welcome Josie and sorry you're here too.

Alb my ov tests were all over the place for weeks and even what should have been my FW was all very high readings for longer than I expected.

Little I've had cramps on and off for the last week which isn't normal for me. Normally they're only the day if not a few hours before AF appears. Also had spotting last week for 3 days which is not normal for me either.

I'm on CD28. Glad to have my cycle this long as I got AF only 19 days after ERPC which was odd but isn't it all atm!. Think AF is starting today, ooorrr it's just more spotting. Will be half glad if it's AF that my cycle length has been fairly normal and hopefully next months efforts may be more successful.

Hope those of you trying or testing this week are successful!

MrsY87 · 26/09/2016 14:24

Haven't posted for a while but looking for some support as feeling really confused,

Had a mc just over 4 weeks ago at 6 weeks and thought I'd got a negative hpt 3 weeks ago when my blood hcg was 20. Got a peak on CB ov test 14 days ago so think I'm now 13dpo. Have had really sore boobs the past few days so took a digi and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. Spoke to epu today and they were really unhelpful, didn't believe I'd had a negative test and said that as my hcg was 12 last week (7dpo) I just had to wait and see and test again in a week.

I just don't see how I would have got a positive on a digi if my bloods were 12 last week if I haven't conceived again unless something odd from the mc is going on? I'm just feeling so unsure as to what is happening Sad anyone been through anything similar in their post mc cycle?

emily86 · 27/09/2016 08:15

Hi Mrs,

I haven't been through anything similar but wanted to answer your post. That sounds so confusing and I'm sorry the EPU weren't more helpful. Fingers crossed it is a new pregnancy though! Maybe you could try going to your GP and asking for a blood test to see if your hcg is going back up? Otherwise, I hope this week goes quickly and when you next test you get some confirmation. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

MrsY87 · 27/09/2016 08:39

Thanks Emily. I've booked myself some bloods privately as couldn't get a gp appointment before we go on holiday at the weekend and want to know before then, hopefully I'll get an answer either way, will be much better than this in limbo feeling at the moment. Mc is really tough Sad

SayItIsntSo1 · 27/09/2016 11:46

MrsY no real advice, sorry you're in limbo. I seem to have had very faint positives since last week after a clear negative 4 weeks ago, but AF is only late from today (CD29) and that's only IF my cycle has returned to its normal 28 days which it may not have done.

If you've got a good line and had a negative previously, try to be positive. There don't seem to be many norms after MC. I hope your hcg test gives you the answers you need and that you can enjoy your holiday.

SayItIsntSo1 · 27/09/2016 12:02

Sorry, don't think my post was clear.. Even though I have had some faint results I don't think I am pregnant. They're not getting darker so not sure if I have leftover hcg or something. I had my ERPC nearly 7 weeks ago now seems doubtful but guess it's possible.

Wish I could be more helpful.

Brenna24 · 27/09/2016 14:03

Welcome Josie. So sorry you are here.

Alb, your body can have several tries at ovulating with a ris in LH, not triggering ov, it drops a bit only to rise again. It could be that. Fingers crossed you get there soon.

MrsY. So sorry you are here too. It could be that there is a tiny bit of tissue left which has made a bit more hormone, or it could be a new pregnancy. I guess the only way to tell is to see what happens with your bloods. It is shit that your EPU wasn't more sympathetic though. It i hard enough going through this without having complications and then people not taking those seriously.

MrsY87 · 27/09/2016 17:27

Thanks say and Brenna, sorry you are here too,

sounds like you are also having an unsure time say. Keeping my fingers crossed for you that it is a pregnancy rather than something from the mc.

Had bloods done this morning and they came back at 49.4 so assuming that means it's a new pregnancy, as it's risen x4 since last week. feels good to have a more certain answer particularly after my very negative conversation with the epu yesterday but now feeling really anxious about something going wrong again.

littlepooch · 27/09/2016 19:13

Hi all.

Just catching up. say it must be so confusing. I hope this week brings you some answers either way with either stronger tests or AF (I know AF is never s good thing really when ttc but at least it puts you out of limbo)

Welcome mrsy and sorry you are here. Fingers crossed its a new pregnancy and it this time round it is straightforward and trouble free. That's good you could get the blood test results so quickly.

I'm due AF today/tomorrow I think. Still cramping but nowhere near as bad as the other day when I thought I was going to be physically sick. I just want her to come so I can put this month to bed! As long as she stays away a tiny part of me hopes its because I'm pregnant even though I know deep down I'm not! The mind is a powerful thing eh!

Brenna24 · 27/09/2016 22:07

Tentative congratulations MrsY. Fingers crossed this one end better for you. Flowers

SayItIsntSo1 · 28/09/2016 08:48

Got this this morning. Struggling to accept it after last weeks testing Shenanigans (of my own making). I'm two days late now, maybe I really was just testing too early.

We go away for my birthday today so thought I'd test this morning just to gauge whether to reign it in, I was expecting it to be negative. Bit Hmm about the spotting now.

Got a Drs appointment Monday as I was going to ask for a counselling referral because I've been struggling. Think that is the next benchmark to get to and see if this one is real and sticking.

Congratulations MrsY, here's hoping it's an easy journey now.

Congratulations mrsy and sayit hopefully everything goes as smoothly as possible for both of you Flowers

When are you testing little? Fingers crossed AF stays away for you

FXSkip · 28/09/2016 09:29

say and MrsY congratulations to you both, everyone here is rooting for you guys for successful and stress-free pregnancies. I wish I was joining you, but clearly my body just wants to bleed all the time. I am tempted to go back on the pill and just forget about it for a while.

MrsY87 · 28/09/2016 09:56

Congratulations say fingers crossed for you that this one is much more straightforward. Hope you have a lovely time away for your birthday!

Brenna24 · 28/09/2016 10:07

Congratulations Sayit.

Goingmadttc · 28/09/2016 11:47

Hello everyone. Sorry if I am on the wrong board, please tell me if I am, I haven't ever posted on here before. I have had three chemical pregnancies this year and got a faint BFP on Monday. I have got faint lines too on Tuesday and Wed but they are getting no darker, although my temp is still increasing which must be a good sign and my accupuncturist last night said she could feel the slippery pulse meaning last night I was still pregnant. I am so terrified that this is another CP and I don't think I can cope with a fourth. I know it is such early days I shouldn't get upset but it is such a blow each time. I am so stressed and sure every time I go to the loo I will see AF. I am tense and my heart is racing and I know this is not good for my body and will not help but I don't know how to relax. I am DPO 14 today. So scared.

Josie01 · 28/09/2016 15:59

Congratulations on the BFP's Grin

Say, hope you have a lovely birthday away!

I've kind of gone back lurking, as I have nothing to contribute 😂 I literally have no idea about cycles yet and we're just doing it all the time (probably every other day) in the hope I get pregnant. I went to the doctors and I'm signed off work for a little longer, I got myself into a bit of a state as I should have been 12 weeks this week and telling everybody.

Then somebody I follow on Instagram announced her pregnancy, due in April, kind of knocked me too. Her baby would probs be due when mine would have been.

I just want to be pregnant now! Sad

littlepooch · 29/09/2016 16:21

Congratulations to all the bfps. I really hope it all works out for you all.

alb I'm on holiday so if no sign of AF will test on Sunday. I deliberately didn't bring any hpts with me so I couldn't get all obsessive and keep testing Grin. Im fairly sure I had some very faint brown spotting this morning so I'm probably out anyway!

fxskip have you seen a doctor about the bleeding if it has been going on for a while? (sorry if you've posted about this previously). Hope it stops soon that must be draining and really annoying.

Glad you've gotten signed off josie - take as long as you need. Pregnancy announcements are hard and even harder when they're due at a similar time to what you would be. I know January will be a difficult time for me next year.
