Hello all.

Quick check in from me - I haven't posted properly for a week or two as AF arriving for some reason hit me hard. I think it's because I had perhaps convinced myself I was pregnant. But I've dusted myself down and onwards it is! Anyway, fast forward 2 weeks and I am now in the tww again. I'd like to think we have a chance as we timed dtd quite well according to the opks but as all the months/years of ttc has taught me - that's no guarantee! Thank goodness I've got a very very busy few weeks coming up so I won't have time to symptom spot too much and we are holiday when AF is due Sod's law so I can't even torture myself but Poas as I'm not taking any tests with me!

Just going to read back and see what I've missed. Hope everyone has had a good weekend so far.

emily86 · 18/09/2016 08:50

Thanks for the advice ineed. Hope all is going well. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

FXSkip · 18/09/2016 08:51

newshoes I can't face it at the moment - FIL had commandeered our car to go off on a minibreak with his new family whilst MIL is in hosp with terminal illness. So sick of hospitals at the moment, can't face any more scans/tests. I clearly don't have an infection and I'm not anaemic so I'm just going to ride it out. And buy shares in always.

INeedNewShoes · 18/09/2016 08:54

Are you taking iron tablets? I'd be a bit concerned about levels with the prolonged bleeding. Flowers for you. It sounds like everything's hard work at the moment.

Alb1 · 18/09/2016 09:23

FX that's such a long time to be bleeding, I hope it stops for you soon. You obviously have so much going on with your MIL too, must be such a difficult time Flowers I second what ineed says about taking some iron supplements, can't do any harm

Good luck to those in the 2ww, hopefully we'll be seeing lots more bfps on here soon.

I'm finding the clear blue digital opk slightly irritating at the minute, takes absolutely ages to give a result and it's fairly big which is a bit of a pain with a toddler trying to snatch it off me and a nosy teenage sister snooping about! It's like stealthy TTC in this house Grin

Hello,

Just checking in.

On CD20, managed to dtd CD12, 14, 15 and 18. No idea which day I actually ovulated as the various tests were positive or inconclusive between 14 and 17. Think it may have been an anovulatory cycle as feeling some period like dull ache today. Way too early for AF on a normal cycle so thinking it's all still messed up post MC 5/6 weeks ago Sad

Alb I know what you mean about it being difficult to be discrete. Many a time my dd has wondered in asking what mummy is doing. Keep hiding them from DH too so he doesn't realise what a POAS addict I've become! Grin

Brenna24 · 19/09/2016 11:11

CD24 here. I had quite a temperature dip yesterday. It is up a bit again today but not as high as it should be for this part of the month. AF not due until CD 30. I am already getting some cramps. Not a good feeling for this month despite having DTD lots.

My temp is back up after my dip on CD8. No idea what it was about. hang in there Mrs, it can take a while for your system to get back to normal. Flowers

Sorry to hear you're still in uncertain territory Mrs.

What does the temp dip mean Brenna? I have no idea about temping.

So I did something stupid and did a hpt. Two of them. It's still 6 days before AF is due but they are a fairly squinty positive... Never tested this early and no symptoms other than a bit of cramping and lots of CM/discharge today (but thought that was period on its way early).

Really don't want to emotionally invest in it as they're both probably wrong or it's a CP.

Has anyone had/heard of positive stories from early positives?

littlepooch · 21/09/2016 12:23

Hi all.

Haven't been posting much as there's not really much to say! Think I'm about 5 or 6 dpo, but trying to keep busy and not think about it! Luckily we are off on holiday on Saturday so I've lots to organise. I've also had an awful bug which has prevented me from symptom spotting as I'm feeling so sick and run down from that anyway! I don't think being unwell will have helped so am focusing on next month and how we can maximise our chances then!

Fx brenna that AF stays away and that temp stays nice and high. I might start temping again next month as I quite like looking at the chart :)

mrsunsure I hope you are out of limbo soon. I didn't ovulate in my first cycle post MC and I think if I recall it took about 7 weeks to get my first AF. It was so frustrating as I just wanted to get back to normal so I knew what was what and some ciuld think about trying again.

say I don't know about early positives I'm afraid as I've never got a positive test until I was about 3 or 4 days late. I really hope it's good news for you. Could you hold off for a few days or wait until AF is due? I know if that were me I'd struggle to do that though!

Brenna24 · 21/09/2016 14:33

That sounds good Sayit. I think you are as likely to be lucky with an early positive as a late. Hopefully it is good news. Tentative congratulations your way.

Normally your temp rises after ovulation and then drops again the day AF arrives. I am not used to it dipping in the middle. I have heard of an implantation dip, not sure I believe in it at all. It did drop at 8dpo and is now back up again. AF due sunday or monday, so we will see then.

It is so frustrating, isn't it, Mrs? You just want to move on and get on with things and not have to be reminded. I hope that you are back in a cycle soon.

I think it's a CP. I'm only 7/8 dpo and tried a test again today and it was more faint then yesterday, but still there. AF not due until Monday.

It probably sounds nuts but I feel like my body is trying for it to stick. Same early cramps I've had in previous pregnancies. Who knows if it will Sad think I got my hopes up yesterday but it was silly of me to test so early.

Hoping those testing soon get BFPs. TTC is properly rubbish, wouldn't wish this limbo on anyone, never mind post MC.

emily86 · 22/09/2016 06:51

Fingers crossed it isn't a CP say. I'm with you on the TTC being rubbish, especially after MC. I'm having a "just don't see the point in trying as it probably won't work anyway" month this month. CD10 today so really need to find some enthusiasm for DTD.

Brenna24 · 22/09/2016 11:51

Everything crossed it isn't a CP SayIt.

Mrs I am not convinced it is. I have had cramps all week and feel ike AF is on the way. I was convinced she was going to turn up a week early when my temp dropped and I felt like she was coming, then my temp went back up again. Oh well. AF due Sunday or Monday, so I will know soon enough.

littlepooch · 23/09/2016 20:45

Happy Friday all.

Has anyone found that post MC their cycles are a lot shorter? I've always had a 30 day cycle even after my previous MCs but this time round since my ERPC they've been shorter - around 26 days. Given I don't ovulate until cd16 I think this cannot be good. But I don't know what to do about it. I'm expecting AF on Tuesday based on 26 days but I feel like it's imminent now- I've got cramps, bloated and I've been absolutely horrid to DH all day - sure signs AF is on its way.

BertieBotts · 23/09/2016 21:22

little, apparently your luteal phase (post ov) should stay the same rather than the pre-ovulation phase so might it be that you're ovulating earlier?

My AF turned up the day before yesterday but has only just got heavy today and I'm getting all the emotional stuff, horrible.

Brenna24 · 23/09/2016 21:51

My luteal phase has got longer by one day after 2 of my 3 miscarriages. I am now at 16 days instead of 14. So my cycles have actually got a bit longer.

littlepooch · 23/09/2016 22:15

Interesting. I shall keep a close eye on my opks next month. I've been ttc ing for so long I though I knew everything but this is just confusing me! Anyway my cramps are pretty bad now so am fairly confident I will be out this month. I am on holiday next week so if AF comes I will take the opportunity to eat cheese and drink wine!

bertie I'm sorry AF showed for you and that you are having to deal with that.

BertieBotts · 24/09/2016 11:18

Oh no, it's OK really, because it's good to know that my cycles have returned post MC :) Just heavier than I'm used to this month and I feel like I'm coming down with something too.

keepingfaithxx · 24/09/2016 18:43

Hi guys has anyone fo me their periods (days bleeding) got shorter? Before mc I was 5-7 days and now I'm 3 ... so you think this means anything?

BertieBotts · 24/09/2016 20:00

I don't know, but that happened to me after I had DS. That's why I'm feeling so crap today I think. I normally use a cup but if I ever use a pad a single one will last all day. Today I've been through three pads and used the cup as well and I feel terrible. I think it's a migraine, actually. I'm under a lot of stress so will probably be that.

Alb1 · 25/09/2016 09:06

Any sign of AF yet brenna? Keeping everything crossed for you.

bertie I'm glad your cycles have returned to normal so quickly, one less thing to worry about, shame it's making you feel so rubbish though.

I think I'm 2dpo, got a positive on the digital, still abut confused by it but I also got abit of ewcm at the same time so I should probably just take it for what it is and stop questioning everything! I have quite a lot on this month with social events and diy type stuff trying to get the new business open so it'd honestly be a terrible month to fall pg, kinda hoping Sod's law will mean this is the month I get my bfp then!

keeping my periods are shorter now than they were before I had my DS, no idea why or what it means though sorry. They've also got lighter too

sayit how are you doing? Have you done anymore tests?
