Bless you jpeg, I understand what you mean about the nausea but glad all going well!

Alb - AF would be due Mon but I really think I'll try to wait until a few days later to test, I usually have 28 day cycles but my last AF started for a day, stopped and then came back, it was the first one after mc.
Yes, you're right, we never know how long it will take...and maybe if a new baby arrival date did coincide with your DD anniversary, it might help you not think about it?

BertieBotts · 16/08/2016 08:38

I was right!! Grin BFP this morning. I cheated slightly by not waiting until tomorrow but it's as clear as can be!

I am waiting until DH had his lie in, because we are on holiday, but eee! It seems I really am a little bit pregnant! (And he probably will feel bad about persuading me to have a small glass if wine every night so far, oops!)

Alb1 · 16/08/2016 10:30

Congratulations bertie that's great news! This thread is starting to empty out a little with so many BFPs this last month, it's good to see Grin

FXSkip · 16/08/2016 10:48

congrats Bertie fx for you and a happy healthy pg!!

Hazandduck · 16/08/2016 16:54

Congratulations bertie! Lovely news. We have been DTD for a couple of weeks now but i don't feel fertile at all if that makes sense? I've not seen AF yet since my miscarriage. I had a little stringy discharge today with pink in it, does anyone know what that means or had that before? I wonder if it AF coming but I've not got cramps or anything. I had acupuncture on Saturday it felt so weird. I'm going again on Wednesday. Lady was very kind and it turned in to a bit of a therapy session with me bawling over everything that's happened. Anyone else gone down the acupuncture route? X

INeedNewShoes · 17/08/2016 07:32

Congratulations Bertie Smile

I'm at my fertility clinic for another IUI today. I'm feeling much more positive this month. Thanks again for the support on this thread when I was having wobbles last month. I had a chemical pregnancy again (so now I've had two chemicals and one miscarriage at 11 weeks). My GP has taken a load of blood from me to check all sorts of things to see if we can find any causes but it could still just be coincidence so I'm plodding on with another attempt.

Brenna24 · 17/08/2016 13:24

Congratulations Bertie.

Best of luck INeed. I hope this is the one for you.

Hi,

Wondered if I could join? Have been lurking for a couple of weeks. So I'm 31, TTC#1 for 21 months. 2 miscarriages, first July 2015, second August 2016. Was told I have a bicornuate uterus when scanned with the first MC. Slowly losing the will. After a bit of badgering managed to get the GP to refer me on and have my first appointment at fertility clinic on the 30th. Just looking for a bit of moral support really. Am lucky to have some very supportive friends but they either aren't at the baby stage yet or seem to manage it with relative ease so none of them really understand.

MrsCW86 · 17/08/2016 17:20

Hi everyone,

Another new joiner here... I had a mc in January and my dd is coming up next week so just looking for people who know what I'm going through.

It's been reassuring to see others feeling the same about ttc again too - only started last month as too scared before, but genuinely slightly terrified about getting pg again!!

emily86 · 17/08/2016 17:25

I totally meant that my second miscarriage was in January 2016, not August! Clearly losing the plot with all of this!

AnneLovesGilbert · 17/08/2016 23:21

Hello all, I'd like to join you. Had a bfp this morning after AF was 3 days late. Ttc #1. Then this afternoon I started spotting, bright red and light, not at all like AF. Also got some cramping.

Weirdly this cycle I've had no AF symptoms at all. Usually get giant boobs, bloated, shattered. This cycle I've been a bit tired but boobs completely normal and not felt due at all.

Is this spotting a sign I'm miscarrying? I've read people can have light bleeding in pregnancy but confused about what colour is ok and what a bad sign. Also not sure if the cramping is an even worse sign.

I had a mc years ago but can't remember much about it.

Any advice at all I'd be so grateful.

Hazandduck · 18/08/2016 00:21

Anne I think bleeding is common but not considered normal, so should always be checked out. If you have cramping/backache I think that can be a sign of MC (mine felt like period pain initially) however it is possible to have that crampy feeling whilst pregnant too as everything is stretching and moving around. Can you get a GP appt tomorrow? Maybe they can refer you EPU for a scan? Hope you are ok and have lots of support whatever happens. X
To the other ladies, I'm so sorry that you are here. It's a horrible situation to be in but it is comforting to know how common it is to be in our shoes, and most couples go on to have healthy babies. I think when you've survived this shit, it must make you appreciate your rainbow baby all the more. Can't wait to meet mine! Xx

BertieBotts · 18/08/2016 09:33

Thanks everyone. .. hope you all get good news soon! We are thinking of getting a week indicator test for reassurance.

AnneLovesGilbert · 18/08/2016 09:50

Thank you so so much for replying Hazandduck. Had a bfn this morning, absolutely no idea what's going on. The mythical false positive maybe?
I'm feeling okay this morning, still bleeding but not too heavy and the cramping has gone. I'll see how I go today.

Do people tell the doctor if they've have a suspected mc when it's so early on?

Haven't rtft yet but there are some amazing women on here and it's so nice to have people to talk to.

Lizziedoll · 18/08/2016 10:12

Good morning, tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my mc. Anyone else awaiting first AF after mc and secretly hoping for a BFP? I've been dtd practically every day this month.

Brenna24 · 18/08/2016 12:15

Hi Emily, MrsCW and Anne. So sorry you are with us.

I am in my TWW but already know I am out for this month as DH had an attack of nerves for the whole of my fertile period, plus the lead up to his SA. So we haven't DTD and SA had to be postponed. Sad So now I am just stuck waiting for AF to arrive so that we can start again. I am pissed off with all of this.

MrsCW86 · 18/08/2016 13:21

Brenna that sounds like me, except it was me with the nerves not my DH!

emily86 · 18/08/2016 13:27

Oh Brenna, that sucks. I know what you mean about feeling pissed off with it all.

Brenna24 · 18/08/2016 15:30

On the plus side I got the last of my blood test results back and mine look great. No problems whatsoever. We just need to know DH's results to decide what to do next.

tiya722 · 18/08/2016 18:02

hey,
so sorry for all loses...
I usually just watch these threads and not write but thought i should join this one since i am TTC and have had a MMC. so a little background is that my DH and i have been TTC right after we got married almost 3 ago and after so long of trying we were finally awaiting IVF ... while we were in between the ivf procedure like after all the blood tests and stuff i had to make appointment to take the xray to check you if your fallopian tubes are clear. so that xray i had to take right after my periods so there was no chance of pregnancy ...long story short i didnt get to do the xray because i didnt get my periods and conceived naturally in march and MMC in may. i was only 6weeks and MC around 11 weeks. i was devastated, still am but got the courage to start ttc again after 1 cycle... its is now my 3rd cycle hopefully will get my BFP soon.

capet · 18/08/2016 19:43

Hi everyone,

So this is first cycle after natural miscarriage-started on 1st of august. Have had negative preg test and started using opks. Had been negative until this morning?
Does anyone have any idea how reliable they are now? Had about 4-5 negative this cycle- clear blue smily face ones?
No other symptoms of ovulation- d/c etc so not sure what's going on?
Would just like to get back to normal cycles again!

Lizziedoll · 18/08/2016 20:55

Hi capet I got a negative preg test around 10 days after my natural mc and took opk tests ever since. I got near positives pretty much every day but got a clear positive around CD19 (I tend to have 35 day cycles so this made sense). It's been 4 weeks since my mc so waiting for either AF or a BFP. Good luck! And sorry for your loss Flowers x

capet · 18/08/2016 21:10

It's pretty frustrating lizzie isn't it just not knowing where a outs in cycle you are? I was pretty good previously at knowing when I was ovulating or not, and got positive opks before when conceived but now just don't know if it's my hormones just being all over the place! I suppose at least once I get af at least I'll have better idea of where I stand! Best of luck to you!

littlepooch · 18/08/2016 21:19

Hello all.

Well here I am again. I was on this thread (or might have been one very very similar) about 15 months ago under a different name when I had a natural MC before I went on to conceive and have a successful pregnancy which resulted in my beautiful DD. I couldn't have gotten through it without the thread and I am still in touch with some of the wonderful ladies who I met on the thread.

I had a Mmc in June this year and finally had an ERPC first week of July. We were over the moon to be pregnant - DD was only 5 months old but after having taken ages to conceive her, with 2 MCs along the way we thought we'd hit the jackpot to conceive so quickly. Won't bore you with how we realised it wasn't meant to be but it sadly wasn't. I finally stopped bleeding/spotting a couple of weeks ago and ovulated yesterday (I think). Tried to DTD and catch it but DH is working crazy horrid long hours so no idea if we timed it well.

I thought I'd come and find you ladies as I'm obsessing already and have no one to obsess with! Just cannot face the thought of having to go through 18 months again of ttc like we did with DD! But know I am very very lucky to have her.

Anyway I am going to read back and hope to get to know you all a little better.

FXSkip · 19/08/2016 11:36

Hi all, littlepooch sorry to hear all your mcs - I've had one (almost finished, hopefully) and I can't imagine ever going through this again. Its hard not to obsess, but then obsessing is hard too - its basically been the most difficult time of my life (so far) the whole TTC, pg and then mc from start to finish has been horrible. Although I'm keen to conceive again after mc I actually don't want to know about it. When I make plans (in my head) I seem to imagine that I'll be pg by next month, but the reality is so unlikely I just need to prepare myself for that.
