Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

marmitetoast1 · 09/06/2016 14:06

Haha thanks Sky, I will be leaving work sharp tonight and hope DH is feeling a lot better!!

Mooseville · 09/06/2016 14:33

Good Luck marmite
We're all here (virtually) cheering you on!! Ha ha That's a little creepy actually!!

purpleladybird · 09/06/2016 15:36

Good luck marmite.

I am out of limbo, mystery of the BFN solved - AF is here. If there's one thing I wish I had told my pre-TTC self it would be to track before you start then you might have a clue what's going on.

SuchaJem · 09/06/2016 16:32

Sounds promising snow and 5tar! Fx for more bfps...

Thanks Hank, I've got some breathing exercises on my phone that help. Usually a stiff drink helps too...

Sorry you're still waiting kwick, any signs she might be on her way ?

Snarky don't blame you, I would rather see AF than bfns. Tilting the stubborn white sticks for the glimpse of a second line is too depressing!

Marmite go go go!!

Sorry AF got you purple, on and up to next cycle Flowers

6 DPO for me and still got sore boobs. No other symptoms noticed think anxiety clouding all! Least schroedinger TWW yet!

SuchaJem · 09/06/2016 16:35

How are some of you older thread members doing? Hep, Kat, island, ever? Skip??? Hope you're all alright.

marmitetoast1 · 09/06/2016 16:53

Heheh thanks all for the cheerleading! Grin I'm just on way home from work and some flirty texts would suggest DH is feeling lots better and is on board too!!

Sorry about AF purple, me too, wish I'd come off the pill much earlier to get handle on cycles.

Hope you're feeling less anxious Jem Flowers

LovelyFishy · 09/06/2016 17:26

Teehee, go Marmite!

So something just happened that made me feel like a right bitch, it couldn't be helped or foreseen, but you'll get what I mean in a minute...

A neighbour of mine has been quite obviously pregnant for a while now. She walks past my house to go pick her kids up from school and we often chat if I'm out working in the garden. Today she walks by very obviously not pregnant anymore so I ask her how the new baby's doing. It died....

It's just one of those things that makes you feel so bad for them. All the things that life can throw at you... Suddenly my situation doesn't seem so bad.

SuchaJem · 09/06/2016 17:30

Oh lovely Sad you weren't to know. It's polite and totally normal to ask that. How utterly heartbreaking for her, poor lady.

Theorchard · 09/06/2016 19:06

Sorry I've been Mia, I had to step away from the thread as I was feeling a bit up and down about it all.
Still no AF (two periods missed now and I am usually super regular)
Negative hpt
Negative blood test Hcg
Full hormone profile done, all normal.
DH checked out all fine, semen analysis etc.
WHERE IS AF!! Come here you bitch!!! AngrySad Confused
first gp I saw was a woman and was very helpful and understanding, second gp I saw was a man and did a lot of concerned head tilting like I had just been let of the asylum.
I may end up in an asylum...
Come back AF, I didn't mean it when told you to fuck off for nine months... please?....

lovely that is very sad to hear.

SuchaJem · 09/06/2016 19:28

Hello orchard was wondering how you were getting on. What's the docs take on why you're missing periods? Take it they've considered pcos? Sorry if I'm asking obvious / stupid question here. Hope she turns up soon and you can get back on track. Are you opking?

Theorchard · 09/06/2016 20:37

No stupid questions, it's lovely to get someone else thoughts on this. But yes gp considered pcos, they checked testosterone and it was well within normal, plus I've had clockwork cycles since I came off hormonal contraception 5 years ago, so they think it's unlikely. They did all hormones, fsh, thyroid etc, I e got another appointment at the gp in July, and if AF has not turned up I hope they will refer me for a scan.
In the meantime I think opks might be a good idea, I hadn't thought of that, then at least I know if something happens. Thanks jem, you are very kind.

SuchaJem · 09/06/2016 22:23

No worries at all lovely Smile we are all in a similar place waiting and wondering and hoping. I find it so helpful to share this and know it's not just me going through it. Good news that all has come back okay so far for you, it sounds like a scan would make sense. With no AF I think if definitely want to see some opks to see if your body is trying to ovulate. Good luck keep us posted xx

Evergreen17 · 10/06/2016 07:33

Hi guys!!! WAVES Grin
I know you probably wondered where I have been.
Well... I went on holidays amd got engaged Smile
Also went to see GP for tests as over 35 and trying for 8 cycles now...
They did tests and said that my hormones indicated possible PCOS and that I wasnt maturing my eggs so that I had periods but nada good eggs.
So I joined weight watchers, booked driving test, was made YAY! Permanent at work and then
So weird. My period was late Hmm
I thought well maybe this PCOS thing kicking in?
Well... Nope

Wow congratulations evergreen that's fantastic!!

For anyone wondering I did successfully manage to jump DH last night who was feeling a lot better!! Grin

kwick · 10/06/2016 08:12

snarky love your outrage on my behalf Grin that was said to me right at the start of my TTC journey a year ago. He actually was going to refer me to an NHS FC until I pointed out I was single and he told me that I did not qualify under the NHS.

lovelyfishy what a sad story. It must be devastating for her.

theorchard how frustrating. Any explanations given for missing AF?

Mine is still AWOL... Feel kinda crampy today but could just be constipation
Confused anyway I have white knickers on today and light jeans and my top does not cover my mum...

WingingIt83 · 10/06/2016 08:24

Congratulations evergreen!!

I'm feeling quite crampy today and yesterday so am certain AF will make an appearance over weekend. Bizarrely I have a sore right boob but the left one is normal Confused

Hi everyone! I'm 31 at the end of this month and am currently 18, 3!! My husband and I were TTC for over a year and what helped us was reflexology!!! Give it a go everyone! It's enjoyable, not very expensive and good for you in lots of other ways too! Smile Just be sure to use a properly registered and qualified person
