Aged 35 or over TTC #2?

Hi ladies
I'm trying to conceive no. 2. My aim was to ttc from January of this year - however due to one thing or another (very stressful time at work!) I have not been giving it my all. I have now decided I need to focus on ttc no.2 as I am very conscious of the growing age gap! Please join for a friendly chat and to hopefully support each other!

CD - 21
DS - 3 years 10months!

Don't want to obsess about it! However I think it's inevitable!

Still don't know what's going on. I went to Poundland to bulk buy tests and they had run out! RUDE.

I bled for 3 days on and off, which doesn't sound hopeful... but that never happens otherwise. If I'm not pregnant then something has to have been going on...

CD24 today, really want to test but know it's too early, it's taking over all my thoughts this month I just really really want it to happen, going to try and hold out until Weds!

Feline, congrats! Sorry im finding it hard to keep up with all the new names on here now and where you're all up to, so I'll read over the list when i've got a bit more time.

Did my first day of ov testing, came back with a big fat circle and said sex is just for fun tonight... well he can jog right on Cos im saving all my energy over here for the smiley face thats hopefully going to appear any day this week!

Don't do it fanny! I've done 5 tests in the last couple of days and as usual whilst was peeling on one earlier af turns up.

So im spotting and cramping insert several swear words here :-(

Why is TTC so utterly shit! When I think back to all the times when younger and I was so scared and utterly careful Not to get pregnant, when in reality the chances were It was only 1- 2 days a month it could actually happen anyway!

Sorry, Only spotting I mean as in could just be implantation cramps etc. But I get what you mean, same happened to me last month and no matter how it appears, its still scary and upsetting!

Clear blue still says 3+, but the spotting and cramping and (sadly familiar) heavy feeling sensation in my pelvis makes me suspect this might not the one that makes it :-(.

No sure how far along i am I didnt have a period between this and the last miscarrige. But given its 6 days since the first positive test implantation bleeding seems less likely. I guess time will tell.

Fingers crossed for you feline, really hope it's ok. Just something that crossed my mind, I hope I'm not being insensitive asking, but did you get a negative preg test post-miscarriage? I recall it took me ages to get mine but the doctor advised I keep testing every week until I got a negative test, as they were still positive even after my erpc.

CD1 for me today. I have been good though and only had two pieces of choc chip shortbread.

Hi send I don't mind at all, my first miscarrige took weeks to return to negative and I was very surprised that my last one did so quickly. I had scan which shown a complete miscarriage and negative test.

I considered the possibility of retained products but Dr thinks that's unlikely. Today Thibgs have settled down so it's wait and see time.

Ah well if that's been ruled out then that's good! They do say you're more fertile after a miscarriage don't 'they'? Glad things have settled down for you, hope you're ok.

My period seems to be following the same pattern as last month. I had a bit of bright red on Friday but since then it's been barely spotting, and really really dark. I'm sure it'll start full flow soon but I do wish it would just get on with it. I may wait to call CD1 for a few more days.

This is the worst part Feline.

With you on the spotting send. I called cd1 yesterday but it's still not turned up today just four days of spotting.

Sil did a big announce of being pregnant again this afternoon and mil kept banging on about how amazing it was to get pregnant again and how her kids would have such a short age gap and I'm ashamed to say I burst in to tears.

Oh bummy I'm so sorry sounds a very very bad time. There really is only so much stoical ., smile plastering anyone can do. Sometimes all the fear hurt and longing just over spills. I hope your family were kind lots of hugs and 'fuck it' cake from me x

AF started on Saturday, but the good news is that my cycle is regular, 28 days.

I find this whole process quite stressful so I am increasing my meditation sessions. I feel amazing today!!! :-D

Hello I'm still around just getting bored with my 40 days cycles. I'm just about to get into my ovulation time according to Ovia so fingers crossed I get a +ve that lasts longer than last time. I'm sure I didn't go into so much detail when TTC#1!
